I had an online job interview, the first in months, and 30min before my nose started to bleed, like awfully, it was from one side but it was so much that it came out from both sides. I tried to reschedule and they didn’t answer me, so I still went into the call wearing a face mask to cover my nasal plugs, in the empty ER. Well, it started and they told me to remove the mask, I told them that I had a nosebleed and then they switched to this attitude that was so obviously rude, and they started to question me, like does this always happen to you? And like are you alone? Nobody can listen to the interview. But in this very rude and entitled attitude, and tbh I did cry after we hanged because they “rescheduled” but it also made me realize the 🚩 🚩 They asked like are you single? Do you have any kids? Would it bother you if we tasked you with activities outside the job description? Are you fully available? And the biggest 🚩 in bold: do you perform well under pressure?

The whole thing made me fall down from the cloud I was in amd kind to open my eyes, and my mom and my friends told me that everything happens for a reason so…

I’m sorry to vent but you’re probably the only person I follow that seems to talk about everything and anything 🥹

WELP. Look, hun, I'm sorry the nosebleed thing happened, but I think your family is right that it was a good thing, because I'm sorry but that "job" (or whatever it is, I say with no exaggeration that it could quite possibly be a cult and/or a trafficking scheme) sounds sketchy as hell. AS HELL! Enough that your ancient internet grandmother over here was reading your ask in progressively more horror, because what the fuck business of theirs is it if you have a family or kids or social ties outside the job, you "can have responsibilities outside the job description," you are "fully available," you work well under pressure, etc? Not to mention that they acted like dicks when you needed to reschedule beforehand, and you wouldn't want to work for these wackadoos anyway!

Anyway. So. Yes. As you say, it can be hard to see things in the moment, we do feel like we need to take opportunities and be open to challenges etc, but not like that. Yikes on BIKES. Take care of yourself out there, mdear. And not just with the nosebleeds.

I've got an appointment with my psychiatrist tomorrow, and I'm getting my conch piercing swapped out for a shorter one. that's gonna be stressful 🙃

I'm SO scared #and I haven't even thought about taking any in ages. so it's alright and I don't mind #I will do things to make things I want to do but am scared of easier for myself so that I can do them at all #and that's fine #I'm so hoping she'll say the piercing is healing well... it doesn't hurt at all and I've been careful with it and I've cleaned it #(almost) every day like she said #but there's a bump and it still gets pretty gross and. well I'm just hoping it's fine 😬 #I kinda keep going from 'I still want as many ear piercings as possible' to 'I don't want to get a piercing ever again in my life' and back #though at this point.... I was originally going to do an arc within the fic that told this story specifically through someone's memories (Frank/Frighty) or through someone digging into the 'archives' or what accounts as such in the Infinite Realms due to ✨️Bat Paranoia✨️, but it's honestly pretty awful so I changed my mind on that because Imprint has enough angst between Jason and the bats as it is.

It will get talked about a little more throughout the fic, and from different sources (hint, hint), so y'all can at least piece the picture together.

He and Steve only spoke directly on 2 days total (not counting the 3 occasions he addressed a group Steve was part of), 3 if you include the deleted scene. And most of it was talking shit about him, even to his face. He was not nice to Steve. He was barely civil. Explains why Steve wasn't enthusiastic about Jr. tho... 🤔)

Apparently made shit up about Steve and Peggy (to make it sound as if they were both more important to the Great Captain America??) and passed it into his Butler. (What he describes of their relationship not only isn't true but isn't physically possible given the timeframe and the plot of CATFA wouldn't function if it were true. Meta on that here.)
