#'genderfluid' refers to a gender identity that is fluid

People in the queer community fighting over what Mizu’s pronouns are is the perfect example of how label discourse is dumb.
Mizu is both a man and a woman you freaks, the whole point of being queer is being something that cannot be defined. By forcing ourselves to only look at gender through rigid labels you are using transphobic logic. If you truly believe gender is a construct then you’ll understand that identity is fluid, always.
Also so ironic considering how often bisexual and genderfluid people are told they’re confused because they need to “pick a side” yet this same rhetoric is being repeated by queer folks over this show.
Mizu is a powerful woman protagonist and powerful gay representation. You are not disparaging either representation by deciding to settle on a set of pronouns. Mizu’s identity, in my opinion, is what being queer feels like. To love differently, to hate and be hated differently, a living example of what living life outside of societal expectations looks like. We love and hate like him because we are him. There are no wrong answers to who or what she is because she lives outside of those concepts. They are created for you to be able to project yourself onto her, if you had ever felt disadvantaged as a minority, gay/ trans woman, man, nonbinary, whatever gender you identify with he is your superhero. Our superhero.
TDLR: You are not being transphobic or misogynistic by referring to Mizu by either gender. Quite literally any pronouns queer icon.

so someone asked me “at what temperature does genderfluid become gendersolid” and that got me thinking
Assuming they were referring to GeNdEr (germanium neodymium erbium) as gender it is technically possible to calculate the temperature needed to become gender solid
Because GeNdEr is a chemical that had not been tested for its freezing point, we are just going to use the number 1162.73333333333 C which is the average of all three freezing points for Ge, Nd, and Er
The ancient egyptians said the soul was composed of the life force, the personality, the identity, and the true name. Im going with Identity (akh) for this so the amount of GeNdEr present would be 10.5 kg (the average amount of water in an adult human x 0.25)
With a weight of 10.5 kg of GeNdEr we know that there is 0.02733371 mols present, which then dividing by 42 gives us 0.0006508
Multiplying this value by the freezing point of GeNdEr at that quantity we get 0.7567099 C as our freezing point depression
In conclusion, a gender fluid person would need to have their internals cooled to -0.7567099 C in order to become gender solid (keep in mind a person dies at 35 C and the average body temperature is 37 C)
PS I know im probably wrong about alot of this but its just a silly lil thing :3

Transmasc Lesbianism
I'm a lesbian. I'm also a straight trans man. This might confuse you, but you may want to consider looking at perspectives of gender and sexuality that differ from your own and don't fit into neat little boxes.
A definition of lesbian that has been gaining popularity in queer spaces is "non men loving non men." This was meant to be inclusive for nonbinary lesbians, as an alternative to "women loving women." However, the phrase is very flawed. I've spoken about this elsewhere, but the main points are
It categorizes all nonbinary people alongside women. In this context, "non-men" comes off as "women or nonbinary people who are basically women." Not all nonbinary people, even if they're non-men will feel comfortable being labeled as a lesbian, since the term has feminine connotations and can cause dysphoria. It's unfair to put them in this box just because they're not a man.
Attraction is complex and cannot be divided into "attracted to men" and "not attracted to men." This disregards people who use the split attraction model (different romantic and sexual orientations), people who experience alterous attraction, people with fluid sexualities, and more.
Gender is complex and cannot be divided into "male" and "all genders that are not male." The identity most blatantly erased by this is multigender identities- people with multiple genders can be both male and a gender that is not male. There are also genderfluid people who are sometimes male, demigender people who are partially male, or nonbinary people who don't identify as male but may refer to themselves with masculine terms such as boy or man anyway.
The focus of lesbianism should not be excluding men. Mindsets like this are echoing TERF rhetoric that seeks to exclude transfeminine lesbians because TERFs wrongly consider them to be men. And it's annoying to make our identity about men or lack thereof, when we don't need to be talking about men at all- our community is about our shared attraction for women, because women are great!
Awesome, we've got that out of the way. If you're still reading this and going "but you can't be a trans man and a lesbian, lesbian means non men loving non men!!!!!", then I don't know what to tell you. Read the list again? Go through the other posts linked? Maybe log off tumblr?
If you read all that and you're willing to accept that not all lesbians will fit into "non men loving non men," and you don't understand but you're open to learn, read on! By the end you might still not understand, but you don't need to understand me to respect me.
For some context, here is a description of my gender and sexuality.
Gender: I'm a bigender trans man. To put it as simply as I can, my gender is primarily male, but I also have some of the female gender. I'm comfortable being seen as solely a man or both a man and a woman, but not solely a woman.
Sexuality: I'm sexually attracted to women almost exclusively. As mentioned at the beginning of the post, I describe myself as a lesbian (or gay, sapphic, etc). I also describe myself as a straight man (or straight transmasc, transhet, etc).
How can I be both?
That's where my multigender identity comes into play. I'm a man and a woman. I'm attracted to women. This makes me both a man attracted to women and a woman attracted to women; a straight man and a lesbian.
Like I said earlier, male is my primary gender and being female is more secondary. So, I'm primarily a man attracted to women, and to a lesser extent a woman attracted to women. Internally, I perceive myself as more of a straight man than a lesbian. I get a lot of gender euphoria from calling myself a straight man, and the feminine connotations of lesbian can sometimes make me uncomfortable.
So, why do I still identify as a lesbian?
Although I consider myself and my attraction to be mostly transhet, that's not really how I interact with the world around me. I'm out as bigender to some people, but I'm also closeted in many contexts, and I don't pass very well even where I am out. This means I navigate my life as someone generally perceived as a woman, who is attracted to women. Even if I don't always consider myself to fit fully with lesbianism, a majority of people will interpret me that way when they find out I'm attracted to women.
Lesbianism is a label I found my home in, for many years, and it still means a lot to me. I spent a long time defining myself as a lesbian and existing in our community, and it's a significant part of my identity.
The way I experienced my attraction growing up was a lesbian experience, not a straight experience. I consider myself a straight man now, but I didn't grow up interacting with the world as a heterosexual child. I was expected to have crushes on boys and was mocked for not fitting into that. I was called a lesbian in a derogatory way when I was ten, and I found power in reclaiming that. When I realized I was attracted to women, I spent years feeling like a freak for it until lesbians communities helped me to be proud. Lesbian is the label that most accurately describes my history and my experience as a young queer.
Also, although the label lesbian sometimes causes dysphoria, I sometimes get euphoria from referring to myself or being referred to as a lesbian. I especially get euphoria from being a butch lesbian. I take so much joy from my butch identity. And while referring to myself as lesbian in a joking manner, with phrases like "I'm so gay for her" or "not to be a lesbian but oh my god," might not count as gender euphoria, saying them makes me happy, and that's enough for me.
So, why do I identify as a man? Because I am one.
Why do I identify as a lesbian? Because it describes my past experience and the way I interact with the world as someone perceived as a woman. Because it's important to me. Because I want to.
Why do I use these labels that contradict each other? Because these are the labels that are right for me, and I have every right to have a confusing identity.
Thank you for your time.

Hello, I have a question relating I'm hoping is not rude of me to ask, But I'm a bit confused about Qiu's Genderfluid Identity.
In past asks I've seen you've referred to Qiu as Non-binary, which while Genderfluid is under the Nb umbrella and its ok to call them so in some cases, the two have very different definitions identity-wise:
"Gender fluidity is a non-fixed gender identity that shifts over time or depending on the situation. These fluctuations can occur at the level of gender identity or gender expression."
"Non-binary is used to describe people who feel their gender cannot be defined within the margins of gender binary. Instead, they understand their gender in a way that goes beyond simply identifying as either a man or woman."
Genderfluid people go between two or more genders, and while Qiu does use He/They, Pronouns doesn't equal gender.
Someone who is just Non-Binary can use He/They and still be Non-binary. But someone who is Genderfluid might go between identities like Agender and Non-binary, Demigirl and Demiboy or Male, Female and Nonbinary.
For a while, I thought Qiu was someone who went between Male and Agender but I've recently learned that was wrong, so I wanted to ask what gender identities they go between?
I'm really sorry, I'm confused by this ask. Qiu is non-binary because they don't identify as male or female, and they are gender fluid because their gender identity does shift/change. That's true but not really a question. Unless you're including definitions in case the readers don't understand terms, I unfortunately can't tell what you're trying to get across.
From what I can gather, you're wondering what makes Qiu's gender fluid since they don't identify as male and agender like you had thought? And for that, Qiu's feelings on gender are much more akin to people who use neopronouns rather than someone who identifies as specifically male or agender. Their gender is entirely personal to them. They don't put a name on it beyond 'gender fluid' because they do know it's not one static thing. How they feel and how they present themselves ebbs and flows. Qiu uses they/he pronouns simply because those are typical options and are useful for communicating, but it means as much to their identity as saying 'you'. Those specific pronouns aren't core to their gender, but the gender they have is fluid.

my mother tells me the other night that her coworkers think she has multiple children, because she’s worked there ages and some people knew her before i transitioned. her coworkers are pretty right wing so she only uses my real pronouns, they/them, with the people who will be normal about it.
i tell her i don’t mind, in fact it’s funny, because something similar happened to my partner. he was at a conference and somebody asked him about being poly, which he’s not. “oh-but you mentioned having a boyfriend and a girlfriend?” and he had to clarify he was referring to the same person. so, in other words, it’s interesting that this has happened twice
my mom says to me, “it’s true, you are one of the most genderfluid people i have ever known.” she pauses; an attorney, she is always precise with her words. “not that i know many, i suppose. but you really have always been like that.” she’s right that i have, but both of us know without saying that if we listed the reasons, we’d be there all night. and we’ve talked about them before anyway; the childhood gender confusion, the despair at puberty, the fact that i was both a masculine woman and feminine man depending on what light one viewed me under.
the last thing: my late grandmother, who helped raise me when my single mom had to work late, became obsessed with birds right before her death. she and i had always sent them to each other, but more so in the last years of her life.
not at all long before her cancer diagnosis, she sent me a gynandromorph cardinal. this one:
Tumblr media
she hadn’t always understood my gender stuff, and really who can blame her. but one morning she sent me this picture and said “God loves everything that He makes” and also that the picture had reminded her of me
to be gender fluid in a society that polices one’s identity so fiercely can be dangerous or humiliating or just sad. despite what ignorant people believe, gender fluidity is not a joke or a phase; i have been this way for 28 years and will continue to be for more. i first used the label nonbinary when i was 18 but i have been trans forever. even some people in the trans community at large don’t really understand, or don’t try to. and it can be hard.
but you can burrow in love like a warm nest. there are people who love you, or will love you. there are people who will take the time to rotate you under the light, to see all of your facets.

can u do a claud x sesbation x gender fluid chubby black y/n pls nsfw to
Smut Headcanons | Claude & Sebastian (18+)
Tumblr media
thank you for requesting, anon!
reader is assumed as being genderfluid, black and chubby - but as only one of the above criteria applies to me, please let me know if i accidentally misrepresent the reader’s identity in anyway!
minors and ageless blogs will be blocked
whilst claude tends to be more staunchly dominant, sebastian is open to being either dominant or submissive depending on what the situation calls for
both are happy to ravish and ruin you — with sebastian focusing on pleasure from behind whilst claude tends to prefer pleasuring you face-to-face
both men enjoy marking you with bite marks and cuts and brands — though they also enjoy bruising pain play even if those marks aren’t as visible on you after the fact
sebastian also enjoys being marked due to his masochistic streak, so feel free to bite/smack/cut/bruise/burn/brand him to your heart’s content
claude uses non-gendered terminology when referring to you in the bedroom, though all of it leans degrading (“pathetic human”, “desperate play thing”, “weak”, “cock sleeve” and so on)
sebastian will ask for your preference in the moment (usually before you start foreplay) and will adjust his language appropriately based on that and what role he’s filling (“master” -> “mistress” or “lord/lady” -> something neutral, if bottoming, for example)
due to his dominant streak, claude is more than happy to rough both you and the other demon around a bit — manhandling you with ease and scrapping with sebastian until both are bleeding and panting
claude prefers to fuck you in positions like the mating press or anything that has you contorted in some way that shows off your curves for him
sebastian, meanwhile, prefers to fuck you in doggy style or reverse cowgirl as both allow him ample access to your ass, hips and thighs
threesomes will usually involve sebastian fucking you from below whilst claude takes you from behind — or something like the spit-roast position
if you enjoy fighting for dominance then both will indulge you (the bratty sebastian more so), but the best you’ll get is a secondary dominant position over sebastian as claude is very attached to his role
they bicker and fight over who pleases you the best and will actively compete to gain favour with you by going down on you at various points
in short; good luck walking after a night with these two possessive, sadistic demons

Nimona and its portrayal of the queer experience: a stream of consciousness "essay"
This is not a reach by any means, and I know countless people have picked up on this and/or discussed it at length many times, but Nimona is undeniably a story of queerness and queer people in a hetero- and cis-normative world. Through the use of the “monster” concept, the movie effectively demonstrates the way that the LGBTQ+ community is ostracized and villainized.
Throughout the movie, Nimona’s experiences as a shapeshifter, Ballister’s reactions and assumptions toward her, and other citizens’ perception of her parallel how queer people are treated in the real world. When Ballister first meets Nimona, she chooses not to reveal her ability to shift to him until it is absolutely necessary—quite literally a situation of life or death. Even then, she is reluctant to do so, because she has learned that this ability of hers, although not inherently dangerous or evil, is viewed as such and enforced by the only society that is explicitly stated to exist in the movie’s universe. The reveal of her abilities can be equated to a queer individual’s coming out, and it lines up nicely in the sense that often, people are afraid to come out, even to close friends and family members they have known since birth because of the political and societal stigma around the LGBTQ+ community that’s almost universal. They also often feel pressured to do so.
Ballister’s reaction to the aforementioned reveal also serves as a parallel between the two experiences. After she demonstrates shifting, Ballister asks Nimona “what” she is, repeatedly requests that she appear “normal” while talking to him, and uses terminology that Nimona clearly finds derogatory and hurtful. Part of this is the way he was raised—people who live in the Nimona universe are implied to live in a society where knowledge of those who can shapeshift—widely referred to as monsters—is commonplace. Not only is the knowledge of their existence commonplace, however—it is also widely accepted that those with shapeshifting abilities are evil and intrinsically against the concepts of peace and stable civilization. There is no real evidence for this idea besides a loosely framed “historical event” that has been passed down for one thousand years (as referenced at the beginning of the movie) and has likely been warped and distorted to fit certain people’s biases along the way. The same goes for queer people. The existence of the LGBTQ+ community is widespread knowledge; however, many people associate the community with concepts of perversion or sacrilege and don’t know much about the individuals who it’s made up of past these prejudices. Children are taught to refer to gay and transgender people by slurs, just like Ballister was taught to refer to Nimona as a monster.
Nimona is treated callously by Ballister, especially at first, as if her differences make her less than worthy of respect and decency, and she owes anyone around her an explanation because of those differences. This parallels the way that queer people often feel pressured to come out and that they owe those around them explanations of their identities—think strangers overtly asking transgender people about their genitals on the internet, or even in person, or gay/bisexual/queer-oriented people being questioned extensively in order to “prove” their queerness.
Now, in terms of Nimona’s character and how she herself is a reference to queerness: as a genderfluid person, I identify heavily with this character. For one, the obvious—I feel that my gender identity is fluid, and, if it were possible, would choose to be able to shift between physically male/female/androgynous to match how I feel. Nimona also describes her need to shift between forms. At one point, she explains that not shifting is like holding in a sneeze—resisting a natural biological process. Yes, she can stay in one form, but that is uncomfortable and undesirable for her. She even tells Ballister that staying in the form he at first coins her “normal” one (the human presenting form) would be like dying, or rather, not really living. This really resonated with me and how I experience my gender identity—in spaces where I cannot express myself as the gender I feel makes me feel like I’m living half a life. It’s living with the saturation turned down to the lowest setting.
Another phrase that stuck with me after watching was when Nimona offered Ballister the deal of being his sidekick “forever” if she were to help him clear his name. At first, she offers her hand in her human form but then shifts to the body of a shark. Ballister asks her, exasperatedly, if she can just “be herself—a girl.” Nimona replies, “But I’m not a girl. I’m a shark.” This phrase is important because it communicates that transgender people are not masquerading as something other than themselves—they are being themselves. It is other people who cannot accept the fact that the way they have always seen a person is not necessarily who they really are. In my case, I often worry that people will not see me as myself when I identify as masculine—they might see it as an outfit I put on, or a role I act in. But it is truly me. My masculine identity is just as much of myself as I am when I’m femme presenting, just as shark-Nimona is just as much Nimona as human-Nimona.
This is definitely not all of the examples in the movie, not even all the ones that jumped out at me, but I think this is enough to communicate my thoughts. It was a fantastic movie. WATCH NIMONA.

In your latest Progression chapter I loved how Namphueng did the cake announcing her sexual identity. It was such great idea and now I wonder what other characters would make as the same cake? What are others sexualities/sexual identities? Do they identify somehow other than gay? Kinn and Chay are gays but what about others? Is Porsche bi or pan? What about Tankhun and Arm? Also Kim expressed somehow being genderfluid and he is definitely demisexual or grey asexual. I think it would be extremely interesting for all of them to have some kind of discussion like that.
Namphueng loved her cake too LOL. She was very proud of it. I spent a while thinking of how the cake would look. While I couldn't find a cake that described what I wanted her to do, I did look up some reference pics for inspiration. Here are several that kind of fit some aspects of the style!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
If you mix the aspects of these cakes all together, you sort of get what Namphueng accomplished. Girl worked HARD. It was so important to her because:
1. She remembers her first love, or at least bits and pieces. She remembers loving her deeply. I think creating a cake so elaborate and more suited for a small wedding was her way of committing to her true self, along with finding the woman she loved and clearly still loves.
2. She may have struggled with being her true self or being open about her relationship first time around. She isn't doing it anymore because every bit of her autonomy and happiness was kept from her.
So, yes! In Progression, Namphueng very much identifies as a lesbian. As for the other characters, some are probably up for interpretation, but I guess this is how I view them (at least for this fic).
Kim: I also see him as demisexual. I think he is enjoying sex with Chay. A LOT. But he can only come to enjoy sex if he is in love with and feels comfortable with the person he is sleeping with. Since he struggles with being so guarded, Chay is his first. I think his romantic orientation is likely panromantic, but his trauma and seeing so many people in his family get hurt/killed likely made him push the idea of romance away for a long time.
As for the potential for him being gender fluid, I don't think it is something he feels like he needs to find a label for, but wouldn't deny it if asked. I think he does certain things and presents himself in a way that feels right. He likely leans towards more masculine presentations, but likes light makeup on occasion, doesn't align with overt masculinity or societal expectations for men, etc. I think he also likes looking good for himself, and sometimes looking softer and slightly more feminine is something that appeals to him.
Overall, I believe he struggles with labels for multiple reasons. He doesn't like following traditional or strict expectations, nor is he great at communicating clearly (although he is getting a lot better). I think he also falls into this limbo in between labels, so he doesn't know what to make of it. He struggles with seeing himself as asexual (especially now) since he is having a very enjoyable sex life with Chay. He should probably should look into demisexual. I think it will be something that eventually comes up, even though he doesn't feel a NEED to find a label. However, an explanation and a sense of knowing he isn't the only one may help. 🙂
Porsche: I think he is probably pan, but could also be bi. Episode 8 showed him express minor anxiety over dating a guy, although I don't know if it was the emotional or physical aspect that worried him more. Regardless, I tend to categorize him a little more as pan since that tends to take a meaning of "experiences sexual attraction regardless of gender". However, I also see him as demiromantic.
Khun: Despite his and Kim's personalities being extremely different, I also see him as demisexual, panromantic. Part of his demisexuality likely stems from immense trauma since he needs to be with someone who understands him and he's comfortable with, but I don't think the gender of that person matters. In fics, I often mention him having a girlfriend prior to his kidnapping. I believe I did in this fic too. Now, he's very much in love with Arm. And like Kim, he also might be gender fluid, but doesn't over think it and just does what feels right.
Arm: He's a hard one, but he could be demisexual too, and he may lean towards homoromantic. That isn't to say he doesn't like to be seductive though. He takes his shirt off when drunk for a reason. However, I do think he was repressing a lot of desires until he became more comfortable with Khun. So yeah, maybe demisexual/homoromantic.
Pol: He says he's straight! But I also think he is a guy who needs and deserves a lot of love. I don't see him hooking up with just any woman or being in a FWB situation. He is probably heteroromantic, but does find a lot of satisfaction in platonic love too.
Vegas: gay, but demiromantic.
Pete: demisexual, biromantic
Macau: He's saying he's straight in this fic, but I don't see him sleeping around like his brother likely used to.
Kinn and Chay : gay and gay
Milan's sexual and romantic orientation will also become more clear in flashbacks as well.
Thank you for the ask! 🩵

Yeah I just thought it was funny how they acted like that was enough for gender fluid loki, like I tend to be more forgiving when it comes to stuff being shown or not for bi/pan rep especially for a show that only has 1 season sometimes a character mentioning it is all you can probably fit sometimes.
But the fact that they tried to claim loko is genderfluid while 'that' is the only reference to it is hilarious
the mcu will literally do ANYTHING to fence sit on representation it's so predictable. they show a file for 0.5 seconds that labels loki's sex as fluid and dont talk about it in the show just so ppl can go oh but it's just because he's a shapeshifter obviously!
which is weird bc being genderfluid is a big part of comic loki's identity and ties into his arc of reinventing himself and proving everyone wrong when they say he can't change as a person. i dont usually read comics but i follow loki's current line pretty closely bc i really like how well they write his gender fluidity and grey morality.
at this point just dont address the genderfluid thing if you're going to promise he'll be trans in this iteration and then refuse to work it into the writing. it's really frustrating to have this incredibly transparent pandering with no actual substance in the show

Today's Gender of the Day: Tergender!
Tergender is a trigender identity where one is male, female, and nonbinary. While trigender can be any three genders, tergender is exclusively male, female, and nonbinary. Technically, "nonbinary" can mean any kind of gender outside the gender binary.
"Male" and "female" are specific genders on their own while nonbinary refers to a spectrum of identities. Therefore, tergender can mean being male/female/agender, male/female/genderfluid, male/female/maverique, or any similar combination.
Some tergender people may align more with one gender than another, so terms like tergirl, terboy, or terneutral may better describe one's tergender experience. One can be fluid between the genders, fluctuate between them, or experience them statically. A tergender person may also have any sort of gender presentation.
Similar terms would be trigender, triavire, ambinull, ambonec, bxygirl, and doxigender. Tergender falls under the multigender and trigender umbrellas.

What are your gender headcannons for the main 5 + anyone else you wanna mention
Stan: fem nonbinary, he/they. Doesnt care too much about gender, but becomes uncomfortable if anyone refers to him as a boy or a girl. Still uses the label gay though, because he feels it fits him best. Stan hardly puts much thought into how he dresses (he wears the same american flag jacket and broncos t-shirt constantly without washing them. He’s greasy asf) EXCEPT for when he dresses fem. He goes all out then and loves to express that side of himself, especially at Crimson Dawn concerts. He likes sweaters n tank tops and skirts. They especially like their outfits since they can’t dress fem much because Randy would fuckin freak and South Park isn’t exactly an open town to that kind of stuff.
Kyle: cis male, he/him. Becomes pissy if someone asks him his pronouns because he takes it as them not perceiving him as male. For sure answers with “the boy ones”. He’s not transphobic though, just very self-conscious, especially about his appearance.
Cartman: bigender, she/he. Calls you a fag if you ask him his pronouns. But if you get them wrong he’ll berate you. Her pronouns are just kind of implied to everyone. Calls herself both a man and a woman, and is in touch with both sides of herself. She’s very comfortable with her gender. LOVES to dress up and put on costumes. But when dressing casually he usually just wears a t-shirt and either a skirt or shorts. Doesn’t take anyone’s shit if they make fun of him for dressing fem.
Kenny: genderfluid, any pronouns. Like Eric, they’re very comfortable with their identity. And everyone had kind of seen this coming ever since the princess Kenny thing- Kenny had started using any pronouns ever since he had turned like 12 or so. Only calls himself a girl, Karen calls Kenny her big sister, but he’s still fluid. He just has fun with it and dresses however the hell he wants. Usually they just dress comfortably.
Marj: trans girl, she/her. Realized she was a girl at age 14, but struggled internally for a long time because her parents are fucking douches and for sure wouldn’t accept that. But after she started dating Eric he helped her come to terms with herself and her gender, and now she’s out at school and the gang. but NOT her parents, she does a lot to make sure they never figure it out. She’ll usually keep a pair of her girl clothes on her when she goes out and changes outside of the house.
I have strong thoughts about these 5 with their gender identities, especially since even in canon they’re all very expressive about it (for instance Eric dressing in drag constantly, princess kenny, Kyle’s extreme persistence that he is a Boy, Stan’s struggle with gender in the cissy, and Butters’ overall side with femininity). But other than these 5, Wendy is nonbinary she/they, and Kevin Stoley is nonbinary they/them.

LMK/JTTW gender headcanons & how they respond when asked about their identities:
Im he/they myself so some of these may be self-projecting. A lot are joking, but some are legit examinations. I also hc that gender is a lot more accepted as fluid amongst demons than in a lot of celestials. pls respond with your own thoughts:
Sun Wukong: "Oh I was born under the kun trigram, but I'm a guy a lot of the time." Has personally stolen every form of gender expression he's ever found like peaches from the royal orchard. Transmasc + Genderfluid, He/Him.
Macaque: "I was born under the Xùn trigram, so I guess I don't fall into mortal norms. I just take whatever role I can get really." Gender as fluid as the shadows he controls. pluridfluid
A plurid for when a system's collective identity feels or is fluid in some way. This can involve being genderfluid or abro (i.e. having genders or orientations that change), but it can also refer to fluidity in things like how the system present themselves, things the system pursue, what affects identity in the system without being the identity itself, etc. This could also be seen as being fluid between plurids.

New Identity Submission: Genderquantum
Tumblr media
Hi! My name is Draigìn, and I'd like to talk about my gender identity. I haven't seen anyone else refer to themselves as Genderquantum before, so I think I'm the first one. If you feel like you identify as Genderquantum, feel free to add this label to your endless pile of labels.
Genderquantum is a subset of genderfluidity. I used to identify primarily as genderfluid, but it frustrated me that people would assume my gender was one and not another, and would say "How should I refer to you today?"
Genderquantum is based on the concept of Quantum mechanics, in which partial states may be identified, but identifying one state omits the whole. If you think I am a particle, then I am a wave. If you think I am a wave, then I am a particle. I am all, I am none. My gender fluctuates very quickly between feminine, masculine, and agender, and as such can never accurately be identified at any given time. As such, I am simultaneously male, female, and none. Genderquantum is a form of bigender and multigender. Here's how pronouns work for me: I go by he/him and she/her, but I don't want others to stick with one and use it per day or per occasion or based on my appearance. I invite others to switch out my pronouns as they choose. For example: "Draigìn likes to work on his needlecraft in her freetime." This may or may not be the same for you.
Genderquantum is not the same as Schroedigender, although the two are similar. Genderquantum does not seek to be one gender encompassing many, but rather to encapsulate the shifting feeling of gender and the plurality of gender. Genderquantum identifies the absence as well as presence of gender in our society.
Above is the Genderquantum flag, created by myself. It is a black base with a white helix [or a sine wave and a cosine wave] crossing horizontally. In the center is a white dot with a lavender gradient, surrounded by 9 half-moon like strokes to represent quantum energy shells. Each stroke is a color of the gender fluid flag [pink, purple, blue]

About me
My name's S and I use mostly he/him pronouns (sometimes he/she but my comfort with she/her pronouns varies). I'm bigender, primarily a binary man with a side of butch/masc genderqueer. My pronouns page is here
This is my blog where I post about multigender stuff. I post a lot about multigender issues and transmultiphobia, but I also post some positivity. I'm trying to do more research into multigender history so keep an eye out for posts about that. I'm a math queer and I have the results of a survey for multigender folks coming (hopefully) soon! (Yes I know it's been forever, it'll happen eventually I swear)
I obviously like talking about being multigender so I very much appreciate receiving asks about gender stuff! Sometimes I take a little while to respond but I promise I'm still grateful for the ask.
FAQ
I'm questioning if I might be multigender, how do I figure it out?
The short answer is, experiment with different labels and identities and see what makes you happy. It's okay to not know for sure. For longer answers, look through my questioning tag.
What is transmultiphobia?
Transmultiphobia refers to discrimination against multigender people. Many people, even within the queer community, view different genders (often male + female, but not always) as mutually exclusive. This can result in erasing, disrespecting, or outright excluding multigender identities. (more here)
What's the difference between genderfluid and multigender?
Some genderfluid people identify as multigender, some don't. Genderfluid people are welcome in the multigender community if they'd like to be included. For some people, multigender means that they are ALWAYS multiple genders, but for some people, it means that they are sometimes multiple genders or that they are fluid between different genders. Labels can mean different things to different people and that's okay.
Can I be multigender even if I'm not a man and a woman?
Yes.
[literally anything about lesbian discourse, mspec lesbians, or male lesbians]?
I got tired of repeating the same arguments, the answer to your question is probably here somewhere: Masterpost on lesbian discourse
You know that survey you did a while ago? What were the results?
Glad you asked! Survey results (June 2023)

Uh... A lil help pls? I'm afab, and I can't figure out if I'm genderfluid or a demigirl.
Like, sometimes my gender does match my outside. Sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I'm hyper aware of my chest (in a good way), sometimes I forget it's even there. Sometimes hearing she/her makes me itch, sometimes it's very affirming, and sometimes I crave a he/him or an it/its even if it's jokingly. It's very weird.
Sometimes I feel distinctly like a man, but very very rarely. It's mostly either a they/them or a she/her. So is it a demigirl? Or genderfluid?? :(((
I'm not out to anyone that would try to understand this, and I can't figure it out. Am I fluid between multiple genders? Is this experience a specific gender? Am I detached from gender entirely? Is gender not a feeling of masculinity and/or femininity and I'm just tripping? Why can't we all just be one thing and all have our individual flavours and/or pronouns this is so confusing.
...What even is gender? :/
You can use whatever label you feel more comfortable using, but to me it sounds like you're genderflux. According to the LGBTQIA+ Wiki, "Genderflux refers to a person whose experience with their gender identity changes in intensity. A genderflux person's connection to gender may weaken or strengthen at random. For example, an individual could be a man most of the time, but then other times that connection to their gender could feel weaker, or even completely disappear. Genderflux could thus be compared to a thermometer, which can show fluctuating temperatures over time."
Here's the link if you want to look on the website more: https://lgbtqia.fandom.com/wiki/Genderflux
Also calling pronouns "flavors" 😘🤌
