Love that the team continued to uphold Lloyd being extremely mentally unwell at all times. Barely functioning but insisting its fine. Plagued by the visions™. Legitimately had a panic attack when everything started to go wrong. Completely willing to fuck over his entire physiology with weird dragon magic because "yeah that'll probably be helpful later". Waking up screaming and shrugging because its totally normal to have nightmares that horrifying on the regular. A+ on this assignment lads, you've broken Lloyd down to his bare essentials.
Trying to transliterate Leara's name into Quenya, and it somehow becomes, uh,
Lëarra
Which basically means "You Sealion!"
And I'm just, "Oh yes, this is That Sealion Woman, and she can breathe fire, as all sealions do."
If Leara, for any reason at all, needed an actual Quenya or Sindarin name for any fun Elvish shenanigans, we'll just use Calairie/Calearil, which is "Light of the Sea" in Quenya and Sindarin, and what Leara actually means.
You've maybe-very-probably seen this idea scattered throughout my sketches of Geo and Omega-Xis in which I depict a form they take in the process of Wave Changing. I've added another messy attempt below where, due to the unstable nature of this form, it could be possible for Omega-Xis to manifest more of himself alongside Geo. And why not? It's cool. But strenuous.
By the way this "style" was what I was intending for this encounter.
bart and his yellowy-golden speedster eyes... do you think as a civilian he ever has to wear colored contacts to hide them? its either that or preston and all his other friends are just like this is bart. he wears colored contacts every single day bc he likes anime
i think mikes awareness of his feelings for will is like when you're looking for something in the fridge and can't find it anywhere but then someone else comes along and is like dude... it's literally right there, front and center in your line of vision. like how did you not see that. it's directly in front of you. couldn't be more visible. and once he realizes it'll be like oh, duh...
Wow you guys, that primal ending was great wasn't it. I really loved that Mira's people accepted Spear as their own. And then they had a good month or two of cute romantic time together cuz that viking dude was still walking on water hundreds of miles away. Oh man and when her dad married them in their traditional way, so sweet. And then they had some good honey moon night, oowee I had to look away. Oh crap but then the Viking dude showed up the day after the wedding like a total jerk and him and Spear & Fang had such a cool well timed epic battle.
Damn and then Spear sacrificed himself and Mira cried trying to console him in his last moments with Fang and the babies. So sad had really had me going. But then flash forward to their awesome daughter and SURPRISE Spear survived. And now he's living peacefully besides the long lasting effects of his injuries because Mira and her people make sure he's taken care of. And he teaches his daughter everything he knows. Hell he even learns a few words over the years. And him, Mira, Fang and their kids all lived happily ever after.
Oh yeah that's definitely what happened. What a great finale☺️
