the disastrous life of saiki k its only a comedy anime because we see everything from kusuo's pov and the things that's happens in the episode are just a normal day for him so he sees everything like normal and even comedic

I just KNOW that if it was from someone else's pov the anime would turn into psychological horror

Moved to procreate so I wouldn’t break goodnotes but I tried my best to recreate the brushes and am not using color picker :p surprised to say I kind of enjoy goodnotes more now that I’m used to the constraints of the program- the per-stroke selection and erasing is kind of really nice for color correction

#more about the ocs since I’m thinking about them #yeah they’re twins #the pink haired is the older and the blue haired is the younger but you probably wouldn’t be able to tell I think #trying to come up with names for them hmmm #I don’t think their relationship is quite as bad as sanemi and genya but similar principle #they both worked really hard to get stronger to a point where they could protect each other #and hate the fact that the other is also doing the same dangerous stuff as them #I think pink is stronger by a tiny bit but thinks that this is only because they work harder than blue #blue has more natural talent as a fighter and both of them know that I think #pink dislikes that blue is effortlessly strong #and thinks that because of this blue doesn’t take things as seriously #but blue does a lot of work #they just do it when people aren’t looking #blue has some pride in that sense— they don’t want to be seen as weak so they never train in front of others #in any case mostly they just have communication issues #they love each other and banter a lot #y’all should send me some character sheets to fill out for them #I think it’d be fun

#shep arts #content smp #csmp #arathain #mason arathain #tw eyestrain #cw gore #<- its very mild I’d say. i kinda just fucked up one of their arms... in my defense it was annoying to draw so I just didnt draw part of it #the eyestrain isnt too bad either in my opinion i just wanted to tag it just in case #honestly just tell me if this needs more tws I'm awful at knowing what I need to trigger warning and what I dont #okay uh art rambling time so i made him a bug for this one honestly just cause i thought it looked neat #this was a really fun for a drawing that took like an hour to sketch and a million years to finish #it's just an experiment in coloring a lil different and using layer styles other than multiply and add...#there are add and multiply layers in there if i remember correctly but its mainly color/linear burns and hard/soft light i think #fun fact there was supposed to be more paint but uhm I got lazy and it was already a pain trying to balance the values on this one #so yeah its just the pink splatter behind his head there. imagine that there's more pink paint there for me pretty please #I have a dozen versions of this with various overlay layers will probably end up adding those to this post in a rb or something #this post was supposed to go up earlier but yeah I was comparing overlays for like two hours...#honestly im surprised my procreate didnt crash in the middle of this since it crashes everytime I do anything with a lot of overlays #it did die immediately after I finished it though so then I had to wait several hours to just sign the damn thing :/

NGL I think if you're writing RGU analysis and you call Utena's gender nonconformity sexist you may not be writing good RGU analysis

The problem with Utena trying to be a prince isn't because she's not acting like a gir #(The show is rather direct in this by having Touga degrade Utena to the point where she dresses 'like a girl' and is obviously depressed #While doing so and once she's reclaimed her self worth by kicking his ass dressing masculinely again #And by having Akio comment on how 'girlish' Utena looks after he rapes her)#Her masculinity does not imply other girls are lesser #The problem is that being a prince REQUIRES you to deny agency to others and requires the creation of a villain and a victim for you to #Perform the act of being a prince. In this case a witch and a princess. This is system is still bad when the genders change but in its form #Is a vehicle of patriarchy #The prince is not masculinity itself. It is toxic masculinity/patriarchal masculinity #How ugly RGU would be if Utena's failure to save both Anthy and herself was because of her masculinity!#And not because when confronted by her rapist she tried to claim the language of abuse and power to distance herself from being a victim!#Subsequently casting the girl she loves- another victim- into an objectified role as a tool for Utena to reclaim a sense of power #In the moment of confrontation with the man who abused them both they both slide into toxic but familiar behaviors #Which have little to do with Utena's masculinity or Anthy's femininity and everything to do with abuse
