Good Morning! Have a Romanogers AU/OOC Head Cannon!

I’m not normally writing this early let alone thinking of head cannons, but this one I started thinking about last night and it carried over into this morning and that’s why I’ve been up since oh 6:30-6:45.

Okay so I know someone out there made a fic about Steve/Nat but Steve was the one who grew up in the Red Room and Natasha was the one doing the Captain America thing. But for the life of me I cannot remember the fic, but it stuck out because of that. Anyways! I kinda love that idea but it was more just a...i don’t want to say smut fic but it wasn't more than a one shot. So! This is based off of that. Like an extension almost, but not...if that makes sense.

If you know the fic or the author please tell me so I can tag them in this.

Here’s the gist, Steve (for the sake that he’s not Russian) was trained by the IRA (because while they may have gotten their roots in gaining their civil liberties because they wanted to practice Catholicism they kinda went about it shadily and are their own KGB) and then was brought to Shield after being put on their radar.

Nat grew up a Russian Immigrant, in the US and when the war came tried to join the effort but was denied because was she not only frail, but she was a girl. Not even the Red Cross would take her. She wished more than anything to fight for her people like her Best Friend Clint Barton, even went as far as trying to pose as a boy to get in. It wasn’t until Dr. Erikson caught her that he gave her a chance. (In this I’m picturing post-serum Natasha as tooth pick thin, no boobs, no curves nothing). Then we get to her meeting Nikolai (now my knowledge on her comic history isn’t the best but I know enough to know she actually loved him so he’s our Peggy here). Then of course she meets Victoria Potts (we’ll get to that in a moment because my head might have gone full on crazy for this) and she helps Nat get over the line to save everybody and find Clint. Then you pretty much have the rest of TFA.

Moving on!

Okay now here comes the confusing not totally thought out part because I want your guy’s opinions. I want this to be a bit of a group head cannon you know? I love those ones! So please add your input! I’m putting everything after this under the line so it’s not incredibly long.

Avengers Movie!

Okay so I may have gotten carried away but this is meant to be OOC. In this we revisit Pepper Potts (Yes that means put Tony where Pepper is and keep Happy where he is).

Now the Odinson-sisters??? This one caught me a little, so please provide input, but my first thought was put Jane here and Make Darcy Loki but I’m not too sure how much I like that. Maybe put Sif in Thor’s spot???

Betty Ross, or maybe just put Bruce’s cousin from the comics here, but I’m not sure when in the comic timeline She-Hulk appears and I really don’t know much about her, but my first thought was to put Betty here.

Now the most confusing for me. Bucky. Now I also thought of putting Peggy here but then I wasn’t sure if I wanted to have Peggy take Nikolai’s place or just keep that separate??? But I also thought about Sam but I have another Place I want him. This one was most confusing for me because I also thought about putting Bucky where Yelena is in Natasha’s story. Once they were as thick as thieves and now turned enemies and all that.

Sam Wilson the right hand to Fury and 100% done with the Avengers’ shit. Good friends with Steve Rogers and Peggy-Bucky (Again haven’t decided please help). I know Sam’s a soldier, and while Maria works for a spy organization a lot of her tactics feel militaristic to me, possibly having to do with her background history and growing up a military brat.

So far I’m just leaving Fury and Coulson where they are. I also feel like if I go further into the movies I will spiral so far off the path you’ll all be sending me stuff for psychiatric help. So were sticking to the movies up to the first Avengers.

So thoughts? What do you guys think about character placement, too OOC though that’s the point? Also any of you remember the name of that story or the author?
