#( also on that note i think the extensive use of queues really hurt the RPC #like i completely understand why people use them and i have been a big user of them in the past #it helps keep your brain clear #keeps your drafts empty and you don’t want to worry about the anxiety of having a massive amount of drafts #but i think when we started putting everything in the queue it just kind of... sucked the immediately excitement out of it #i very rarely feel people go !!!!! over a thread anymore #and the majority of the people who match that energy are people who aren’t queuing my replies #don’t get me wrong #90% of my partners use a queue and i don’t shame them for that #you have to do what makes things manageable for you #that’s valid !!! so valid #but i speak from my own experience of running blogs off a queue it... felt more like a chore that way #felt like i HAD TO HAVE DRAFTS AT ZERO OMG #because otherwise someone’s gonna feel left out #and that’s... not fair either. to you!!! #anyway i’ve noticed a HUGE change in my excitement over RP since i stopped queuing replies and IC content #that’s just me #im more excited about writing and i have more muse #and generally go yell at my partners after i post a reply to yell about it #idk man just.... #something i’ve noticed #back in the day we queued absolutely nothing #NOTHING #and i think it created a more... interactive environment. ) #( okay rant done sorry ) #ooc. #mobile.
