At first I was going to say I‘m not sure if Wilhemina would allow anyone to be close enough to her like that. Then I remembered Ms Mead and I think if she would let me in then yes for sure. Just imagine talking about murder with her or taking on the world while everthing falls apart in an apocalypse while drinking wine. - yes

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

After she returns from work each day she gets into some comfortable (lilac) clothes for the night, she switches between reading a book, watching the history channel or knitting while the fireplace softly crackles in the background. Also she has cats, lots of cats.

21. If you're a fic writer and have written for this character, what's your favorite thing to do when you're writing for this character? What's something you don't like?

I absolutely adore soft Mina and I also adore writing strict Wilhemina and exploring her through arguments or tough situations. I hate writing her when it involves putting her through any kind of pain or anything uncomfortable for her.

Idk your opinion on this, but Henry Blake had a crush on Klinger, though neither would really act on the situation. Sure, Henry like the way Klinger looked in some of those dresses, but the situation would never really be more than a one night stand that ended with the conclusion that they’re genuinely better friends than they are a romantic couple.

I'm pretty much neutral on Henry/Klinger but I pretty much agree with this! I definitely see where the idea of Henry having a crush on Klinger comes from, the show jokes about it a few times, what I don't see so much is the reciprocation from Klinger, but I can see enough of it for a one night stand! I definitely don't see them as a romantic couple but I love the hooked up and decided to be friends vibe!

ok some quick-fire cat hc's (some i've written before but i can't rmb if i deleted the posts):

rogathe - black cat, single yellow eye (the other is sewn shut after having been extracted due to an infection), rowdy, playful, moody, selective in being held

tarasyl - long-haired grey cat with a white teardrop spot on her nose, green eyes, a big, spoiled baby. was a runaway house cat from some orlesian town (supposedly), revenelan took her in and kept her knowing she probably belonged to someone else. she feels like she should be guilty but she isn't. super cuddly and extremely food motivated.

nuven - calico, blue eyes, stained with a peculiar blue pigment that has only been moderately washed away. found by a clansmember when trading in a human city, eventually realized that the cat was hiding from its "owners" because it was marked for bait in dogfighting rings. immediately swooped him up and he has only known love and happiness ever since. has anxiety.

some non-cat related hc's (need fleshing out):

there are two dogs within clan aravun, belonging to some of the hunters. these pups accompany the clan's hunters on hunts, excursions, scouting, etc. very smart and protective. best boys.

also a part of the hunter group is a falcon, belonging to the head hunter. i'd imagine it's a rare occurrence? so the clan is particularly proud of this lil birb.

revenelan has her own halla which she occasionally rides, named lavan. he's a beautiful creature, with intricately carved horns that revenelan took years to complete. still fleshing this out.

overall: lots of animals in clan aravun. unsurprising given the nature of the dalish but also, as a clan known among the dalish for their healers, their halla-keepers are very skilled in the realm of animal care/vet practice.

OR (if you prefer a serious question) Was selling his soul to the demon that he'd been hunting for the last 22 years, half a lifetime, John's first resort for saving Dean? What was his thought process there? Was it instinctive and out of love or did he think Dean had a better chance of killing the demon and saving Sam than he did?

Dean being a worm would cause no appreciable difference in their relationship because John could still use him as bait 🥁

OKAY NOW THAT I EXPENDED THAT ENERGY

John 1000% did not believe that anybody could find/trap/kill Azazel except him, or they would've done it by now. He hoped that his sons would be able to continue the work should he die, but that's first and foremost because they had a vested interest in seeing the YED pay for killing their mother. Secondary to that would be because they had been trained in the necessary skills by John himself.

Pertaining to Sam specifically, yeah, I think John suspected that Dean would do better than him. I don't think John considered himself having done a great job either protecting or making decisions for Sam, though he did what he believed best at the time. Going by the constant peril that Sam was in through the Journal, going by the position Sam was in by the time John rode off to Hell, I think he was at his wits' end how to properly save Sam and he knew that Dean would be exactly as bloody-minded and tunnel-visioned about saving Sam as John had been about avenging Mary. Dean was (roughly?) the age that John had been when he started his campaign. It was like passing the torch.

Considering none of them ever had the follow-through to kill each other when it was an option, I doubt John thought Dean would go for the option of killing Sam. He just kinda threw that in there to impress upon Dean how crucial it was to save Sam (because John of all people knew how to manipulate Dean like nobody's business). Obviously John didn't want Sam dead, didn't want Dean dead; he was up against it and he'd run out of road.

Honestly sometimes I think it was a relief for him. Sam and Dean were together and could look out for each other, could carry on the mission. Sure, John would be sent to Hell, but if you looked at it from the right angle (and John was arrogant enough in his own abilities for this angle), he'd finally be mano a mano with Azazel without anything else getting in the way.

That is a tough one, as Bane's tastes are very particular. And by particular, I mean they're almost non-existent.

Bane knows he can get it. There are plenty of people who throw themselves at him, whether to have a taste of his notoriety, or simply because they think he'd be a good fuck.

And he absolutely would be, except for the fact he can't stand most people, even long enough to fuck them. If it's not hatred then it's downright revulsion that pushes suitors away, and that makes it very difficult to win his heart.

Or does it? Bane won't be lured in by someone greedy, insincere, or essentially anything like your typical bounty hunter or criminal. He's less likely to fall for someone in his line of work, considering most other hunters are as untrustworthy and selfish as he is.

But that wouldn't necessarily rule you out if you are a scoundrel. Someone who is genuine, selfless, and kind would draw his attention, simply by the fact he can't figure them out. Despite being a misanthrope, he understands how people tick, especially their baser instincts. He can look at a target or a fellow hunter and know exactly what they want at a glance.

But someone who isn't out for themselves? Someone who genuinely cares about him? He wouldn't know how to deal with that except in his usual manner. Meanness, snide comments, maybe even some shallow flirting he uses as a defensive measure rather than to show his real interest.

So, truthfully, the question might not be who could win Bane's heart. The question is: who could love him?

Funnily enough, that’s also the answer. The kind of person who could love Bane, is the kind of person he could love back.
