Writing about perfume the last few weeks has really changed my approach to it, in that I used to read reviews in order to make the most prudent sample purchases I could. Things I am most likely to enjoy, the variant that will be the easiest to wear, a childishly small palette of notes. And now I’m like, I want to try a fragrance that will make me THROW HANDS AT NOBODY. I am ALONE IN THE HOUSE and I want to FIGHT SOMEONE. This is AWFUL and now I have a STORY TO TELL. Like, I’m sure I will regret this approach the next time I get a screaming headache and can’t scrub some abomination off, but I’ll get to try to put it into words, and isn’t that the fun part?

Please help! I'm a new star from the sky, and just recently went through my first life cycle with Eden. Ever since I arrived back though, I've been told by a bunch of older sky-kids at the home-space, that's there's a new fee to go into the Elder's realms now. The older stars talking about "Owing the Elder's for bringing you back after failing to save everyone in Eden.", and "You have disappointed them greatly." I knew the Elders were powerful, but never imagine they were that powerful! Anyways, the fee is twelve candles to enter each time. But, I don't even make half of that from my candle runs, before I get too tired!! I haven't been back home in so long, because if I do I have to pay the candle fee again! Do you have any advice on how to help increase my candle running, and do you have any ideas how I can make it up to the Elders more? I feel really bad for failing, and making them disappointed in me!

She's stunned into silence for a few minutes, processing everything they are saying to her.

She remembers being very new to the world. She remembers her first time through Eden.

"Well, more candles are always nice.... As you find more spirits, new areas will be open to you and you will be able to collect more. Burning away the plants is also a good way to get a couple more- But you will need friends to help with the largest ones."

That is a sure thing, but the rest is utter nonsense to her.

"Fee? There is no fee. I have never had to pay a single candle to go through Eden- Well, except if I made a new friend and gave them one. But that is different."

Disappointed? Ridiculous. Unheard of. Bordering on impossible.

"If the Elders were ever disappointed in any of us, it'd be ME! Sah and Mek wouldn't be able to stand me, I'm sure of it. I couldn't find a SINGLE spirit in the Valley for AGES- Not one!"

Concern bubbles into anger in her stomach.

I know Dream would never do it I Underswap but imagine Winged Au Dream also smokes and needed a hit and hsut so happened to be hiding up on a rooftop while he did it.
