hi !! I was just wondering in reference to your # , which of paul’s male friends said linda separated him from them?

A few, I think I’m mostly thinking of Alain Taylor, he specifically went into a few stories about Linda where she was very cold towards him and he said that she wanted to get rid of any of the people who had been friends with Jane or wanting Paul to move from to his old life. I mean he was obviously bitter about that I can see why Linda might not have trusted his old group (enablers?). I’m pretty sure I’ve heard that from others as well. I could show my work more and pull up quotes but I’m simply too sleep rn :)

"Are you often on the road, by yourself?" Everyone comes from somewhere. Wyll doesn't know much about Loviatar, besides that he knows of the Arcane. Wyll's spent so many days on his lonesome on the Sword Coast---he has trouble thinking of Abdirak setting up camp on the side of the road by himself. He can't picture him popping a tent or roasting meat over a fire. He can't picture him hunting animals or fishing. He can barely picture him walking the coast from torture dungeon to torture dungeon. And how exactly does he interact with other travelers?

Wyll starts to picture what he would have done had Abdirak approached him at one of his own campsites. He would have assumed the worst. And while part of him still does---Abdirak does not seem any more sinister than Astarion, and first impressions can often be deceiving. Sure, he believes in torture and pain. But there is a... strange kindness and respect in it. That Wyll does not even get from Shadowheart, who he is genuinely kind to and actually does respect.

"Tell me about your travels. Are those hands just for torture---or do you enjoy whipping up a good stew or jerky under the stars? Where do you usually pick up the materials for your spells and worship? Loviatar-specific rituals seem like they might require special preparation."
