I just saw myself on Suna... Deeply....and it kinda slapped me harder than i was expecting...there were too many things from him giving himself to mari/treating her like he wants to be treated... To deleting his best friend from social media thanks to his girlfriend... And it really hurt me ahah..

I would vent but.. Yeah

But yes this chapter i saw myself in suna and i had to take quite the long breaks cause it was getting to me 😅😅😅 also if anything i learned from my experiences is that MARI SCREAMS RED FLAGS and even Osamu can see that pls

I would honestly end Mari there, i wouldnt even bother to just retort i would walk my way into to the damn apartment and fucking take Suna for myself cause Mari does not deserve him. Shes manipulative, and in a way abusive.. Not allowing him to keep contact with his best friend his a total redflag and o know its because Suna had feelings for y/n and vice versa but Suna never gave het a reason to distrust him.

The moment he said he was best friends with y/n and was single she immediately clinged himself to him and for what? To then dump him like he was trash...

He gave himself to her, he proved he was there for her he even took her back this boy deserves the fucking world and its not Mari...

I kinda want to say it's not y/n at this point either cause the way she broke his heart was kinda the same Mari did.. Y/n disregarded his feelings and just broke it up.. Mari disregarded his feelings abd broke it up... But y/n stated from the very beginning that she would eventually break up Mari just shrugged and didn't care so i can in a way forgive y/n i cant forgive mari

Besides y/n was supportive from the beginning while Mari was obsessive and controlling.

Another really insanely well written chapter as usual (albeit this one making me ball my eyes off harder because yeah) but yes~ eagerly waiting for the next one~

NAHHHH cuz when you said suna was treating mari the way he wanted YN to treat her... that’s right. on point. they’re all so complicated sobs. MARI IS A WALKING RED FLAG THAT OSAMU CAN SMELL FROM A MILE AWAY. ALSO yes mari is manipulative and borderline possessive when it came to suna. like yeah, let’s be real, she could tell a long time ago that suna was in love with YN and it made her insecure / jealous, but the whole time, YN kept her distance. she was supportive over their relationship from afar as to make mari comfortable. suna also did everything he could to make sure she was well cared for. for three years, he was focused on her and only her. he gave love a second chance despite being brokenhearted. suna never mari a chance to doubt because he, too, was sure he could be happy with her.

until mari left him.

and now suna is back with YN because they will always have each other. but honestly,,,if we think about it, if mari never broke up with suna or at least gave him the chance to explain himself - if mari didn’t do the exact thing YN did to suna years ago - he honestly would’ve been really happy with mari. they were going well. like yeah mari has always been toxic by pushing suna’s boundaries and asking him to unfollow his own best friend on social media, but he did it anyway. because he trusted their relationship. he wanted the best for them. 

also yeah, the parallels between mari and YN were intentional !!

(this sounds like bad. its not!!! its just that leaving things stresses me out? like how i like replying to texts as soon as i see them or reply emails as fast as i can. ‘unresolved’ correspondence feels rude.)

As of 8/14/20 Charlie is no longer open to romantic ships with female muses specifically, and will ship only with Bunny’s female muses: Irene @gcrefxed and Sarah @killerxquccn  , with her characters being detrimental in Charlie's story and to his character. Sarah specifically has always been the love of Charlie's life with the likelihood of anyone (beyond Irene) able to come close slim to none. This in no way means I will not interact with female muses or am being exclusionary  from this point; I always want to explore the multitude of subtleties in dynamics between Charlie and muses of every gender - even female muses having feelings for charlie, flirting with him etc - but dynamics with those female leaning will not result in anything romantic. Male muses, however,  are still open to the possibility of such a dynamic as that aspect to Charlies sexuality and character hasnt been delved into and I would find really interesting to explore. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! But please respect this decision and don't try to pressure or force me to change my mind as that will result in an automatic block. I ship based on chemistry between muses, but Im also very okay with pre-established dynamics (whether that be romantic, friends with benefits, enemies, platonic, familial, whatever!) College advice for people like me

So I've seen a lot of posts floating around with advice for college freshmen, and while those are great there's still definitely things I wish I'd known going in that I haven't seen mentioned. So, without further ado, here's my college advice- the Type B personality edition. 

 1. More than anything, I want to emphasize that just because you're staying up late and working for hours and stressing out DOES NOT EQUAL being an amazing student. If you're not sleeping well and dividing your time up well, you're not gonna be capable of your best work. So my advice is to work smarter, not harder. Join study groups, go to office hours, go to tutoring or the writing center. Dont make your own flashcards if you don't have to- most of the time, someone who's taken the class before will have study sets on quizlet you can use, and that saves so much time and stress. Just be nice and make sure to make your own study sets public when you make them, it's a fair trade. You can also usually find YouTube videos from experts summarizing issues that you're uncertain about. Some of this seems obvious, but it'll all save you time. 

 2. This kind of fits in with the first point, but go to class and take hand written notes. You can type them up later if your handwriting isnt great, but you'll remember things you write down better. You're also less likely to get distracted during the lecture. Also, check to see if your professor posts the lectures. If they do, you can print them before class and take notes on anything they say that wasn't in the slides. 

 3. Have a buddy in every class. We all miss sometimes, and its easier to catch up if someone is willing to send you their notes. Also friends are a good thing to have. 

 4. If you like to procrastinate, write the wrong due date in your planner. This has saved my life and also my GPA. When you go to turn in the project or paper and discover you have extra time, it's like a little gift to yourself. Use it to edit, or to relax or stress cry. Really, just do with it what you want 

 5. Don't nap. Unless you work nights, then definitely nap. But napping will seriously screw with your sleep schedule, and you'll lose valuable daylight hours. I promise you, you'll do better work at 3 pm than at 3 am. 

 6. Stop doing homework an hour before you go to bed. There's a long psychological/neurological explanation for why you should do this, but the basic idea is that your brain will process and store what you've studied better if you give it time before you go to sleep. I personally never study after 11 pm, and I have a 3.7 so that's gotta count for something. 

 7. Don’t do what I just did. No one wants to hear you brag about your GPA. College is hard and everyone's already competitive enough as it is. 

 8. If you have breaks between classes, don’t go home. "I'll just have a snack between classes," you say. "I'll just take a quick nap, or I can study at my desk." Listen. That is the devil talking. Pack a snack, drink some coffee, and spend your breaks at the library. You'll thank me when you don’t have to do all that work at 2 a.m. 

 9. Get an accordion folder and a five subject notebook. You'll thank me when you never have to worry about bringing the wrong stuff to class. Your back will thank me when the weight of your backpack doesn’t cause you to need physical therapy (you think I'm exaggerating, but I literally needed PT for this reason). 

 10. Exercise. I'm begging you. Your brain is so much happier and more functional when you do. I'm not saying you have to become a gym rat. Stretch before bed, take a walk around the library when your brain is fried, take the stairs instead of an elevator. Getting an actual workout in is better, but it's not realistic for everybody. Just don’t get sedentary. Your brain and your body will thank me later. 

 11. Eating healthy sucks. Pizza is better than salad and You Can't Change My Mind. So trick yourself into eating healthy. Green smoothies taste amazing; green tea has caffeine and is good for your metabolism; some protein shakes don’t taste like ass (I drink a lot of them so message me if you want suggestions); stir fry is heaven; there are many companies that now make vegetable "chips" that are not processed and have all the same value of actual veggies without the effort of making veggies. I'm a mindless snacker who just wants to sweet release of biting something crunchy and salty so these are a godsend. 

 12. Don't cheat on people. Don't date people just so you don’t have to be single. Don’t get into "things." Treat other people right, and make sure they're treating you right too. My friends are all in difficult majors but the number one cause of stress in most of their lives is shitty relationship decisions. Don’t do that. Be smart. Make me proud, son. 

 13. Schedule time for yourself. Honest to God, write it in your planner. "Saturday from 10 to noon I will sit in my pajamas and drink hot chocolate and watch netflix and no one is permitted to talk to me." Don’t waste a whole day on stuff like that, but in college you're with your friends constantly (especially roommates) and even the most extroverted person on earth needs alone time. Make it happen. 

14. Unfollow and block to your heart's content. You are not obligated to give social media validation to people who make you unhappy or uncomfortable. It ain't that deep. 

 15. You're already paying for the counseling center through your tuition. You might as well go. 

 16. Dont live with your best friend, I guarantee you they're a bad roommate. I've been there. I've been her. We are all worse in the comfort of our own rooms than we are the rest of the time. 

 17. Condoms please and thanks. No unwrapped d**k is worth your health, and if you get pregnant in college the desks are very small and difficult to fit a belly into. And who wants to get an abortion when you can just avoid the whole mess all together. Safe sex babes. 

 18. Weed isnt that great and neither is alcohol. But both pale in comparison to how incredibly lame and pointless vaping is. Dont do it kids. Not even once. 

 19. Join a club or befriend your coworkers. Sometimes you need a get away from your main group of friends, and you can never have too many friends. 

 20. If you talk too much in class, then on behalf of your classmates, please reconsider your choices. Especially in psychology classes. We know when you're trying to diagnose yourself, even if you think you're being subtle. Go to the counseling center if need be, there's professionals there. 

 This is not at all a comprehensive list, and it may not be valuable to everyone. But I'm more than halfway done with college and based on my experiences and those of my friends, I think this is absolutely vital information for some people.

1. get involved!! participate in events and networks!!! those will give you a boost and help get ur name out there

2. don’t be scared to talk to people!! we don’t bite at all.

3. make your url something centric to what your blog is about. hence, i have the url cupidlance bc i’m in voltron. try not to have a dashes or numbers IF you can avoid it. canon urls are hard to find these days (though i have some!!) but if you find an unused one go ahead and message them and see if they’ll give it to you!

4. make ur icon also centric to what your blog is mostly about :^)

5. have a clean and easy to use theme!! i highkey recc using themes from @felinum @yukoki @glenthemes @angelicxi @espoirthemes @saturnthms @sheathemes @baechys or just really anyone from @theme-hunter or @codinghaven!!

6. likewise, make your mobile theme just as simple. no impossible to read color combos if you can avoid it.

7. learn to tag!!! make sure you keep your tags on original posts relevant to what the post is about. only tag the characters and ships mentioned. if you cross tag not only will i come and slap u but you’ll probably get blocked by other users. nobody is going to reblog your stuff if you cross tag, so don’t do it!

8. learn to tag pt. 2!! only the first 5 tags will turn up in people who follow that tag, so keep the most relevant/popular tags in the front

9. learn to tag pt3!!! use network tags if you can. @vld-networks, @positivevoltron, and @vlddaily are some examples of networks who track tags to rb from them, so keep that in mind

10. post like… all the time. reblogging and providing content for your followers only gets you so far. original posts, even if it’s just the silliest of head canons or a playlist or moodboard, will do a lot to help you gain more followers!! i try to make something original every day (or work on my original fics every day and yes… i am an author im just bad at updating please send encouragement bc i think i suck as a writer ;w;)

11. be nice!! be nice all the time!! never stop being nice!!! people who gossip about other bloggers and vague constantly will never go far. the constant negativity will drive everyone away. i do vent from time to time, but i try to sequester it off to a private blog if i think i’m getting too far, and i always tag my stuff. also i never vent about ANYONE online in a place where they can see it or where followers/friends of them can see. in general i dont really vent about any bloggers. if i have a problem with something i might ask them to tag it (and that’s if i can’t ignore it) or will just unfollow if it’s that bad

12. don’t… spam people… which is something i struggle with a lot. kjdshfkjhsad fim so sorry i just… reblog everything i see

13. (this isn’t really gonna help u make followers but is will make ur life on tumblr a HELL of a lot easier) GET XKIT!!!! get fuckign xkit RIGHT NOW and download xinbox, activity+, tag viewer, post blocker, all that good shit.

14. most importantly, make friends!! ik this is super hard, i was too scared to talk to anyone at first, but if you have some friends it won’t matter how big or small you are. it’s just fun!! the best way to do this is to join a discord!!

Loooong List Ahead!

I don’t know why, but there’s been a lot of negativity lately. So.. here’s an idea: I compiled a list of advice for people in the community  (NO its not cocky or any of that troll nonsense xD) it’s just some stuff I think would help better us?

1) If you don’t like someone, or you have THE BEEF, unfollow and block them. Don’t associate with them. Just ignore them. Don’t shittalk them or spread rumours about them. Just block and ignore. Alternatively, you could confront them and discuss THE BEEF in a mature, civilised manner. We aren’t animals. Also, if you just follow someone you dont like only to spy on them, shame on you. Stop. Get a life and stop being petty. You aren’t James Bond, and you’re spying on someone who fuckin plays with dolls like you do.

2) If you see someone you don’t like at a meet, again, ignore them. Or just get over and done with the pleasantries, and THEN ignore them. Don’t gossip or shittalk or anything like that. You’re meeting for your dolls, not for the desperate house wives gossip sesh.

3) If you’re a parent of kids who are too young to understand the fragility of dolls, Its advisable to hire a sitter or someone to look after them if you’ve got a doll meet. If you cant and you MUST bring them with, please ensure they’re well behaved or entertained. Not everyone likes kids, not everyone will like YOUR kids, and that’s okay. If someone asks if you can tell your child to not touch their dolls, please comply. “But her fingers are clean!” “But he’s very gentle~” yes, that may be true, but not everyone is comfortable with others- especially kids- touching their dolls. No matter how well behaved you perceive your own children to be, please respect the wishes of the other doll owners. Not your doll, not your decision.

4) If a parent has their kid at a meet and said kid wants to touch the doll, but you’re not down for it, just say no. But be polite. You dont have to be an asshole just because it’s a child. Children are worthy of your respect. If they keep nagging, give a firmer no, and if it persists, tell their parents. Parents of those kids, refer to (3). Not everyone likes kids, but its still good to be tolerant of them. You dont even be to humour them.

5) Some people like to shag their dolls. That’s..  okay.  To those who don’t like it, block those who do. To those who do like it, keep it sanitary. That’s just for your own health though. You dont need resin splinters in your hoo-ha.

6) Some people have… controversial dolls or contraversial themes in their stories. That’s okay.  Our dolls can be beautiful and romanticized, or they can be a reflection of our selves and the real world issues we face. But, if it bothers you, ask the owners to put trigger warnings.  Owners, if someone asks you to put a trigger warning, don’t be an asshole about it.

7) Buyers, please be patient. Like you, sellers have lives to live. Give them up to 3 days to respond before you send another message. Also, please be sure about if you actually want to buy something. It’s best to not waste their time  (which I’m guilty of. Sorry doll owner I messed around!).

8) sellers, please respond to buyers as soon as you can. You’ll come to an arrangement sooner, and make your sale quicker. Also, once you’ve received payment, please send out items as soon as you can. It’ll stop you from being blacklisted as a scammer or being a potential buyer - beware target.

9) This kinda goes without saying, but if you want to call someone out as a scammer, its best to gather all your info and evidence, then make a conviction. You dont wanna say soandso scammed you without any proof.

10) If you’re pro-artist, refer to  (1), especially if you don’t want to see that content. If someone does slip past, try educate them civilly. I know a lot of pro-artist get a bad rap for bullying, but if we are civil we might be able to educate each other. I know it’s hard, especially when some prorecasts don’t budge in their stance, but then there’s no changing it and you shouldn’t let it upset you. (I know. Easier said than done).

11) Pro-recasts. I know you guys like cheaper dolls, or they help get you through your anxiety, but please know that they are very harmful to artists. I know sometimes we can’t help it (I downloaded a cracked version of Life is Strange. Sorry square enix  <\3), but please do go back to support the artists, if even with just an outfit or something. (I’ve bought all my installements of Final Fantasy. None cracked!) Please be sure to tag them as recasts and don’t post in artist-only places. Also don’t hide the fact that you own a recast or pretend your recast is legit. It proves your guilty conscience and shows you know you did something wrong.

12) don’t be nasty to Noobs. If their faceup looks like a preschoolers crayon and macaroni art project, but they’re proud of it, do NOT get them down. We all started somewhere. No one is instantly perfect at faceups. No one ever will be. Art is like humans- constantly improving to a state of perfection, except we can’t reach it. There’s always room for improvement. If you must judge a faceup, please do so nicely with constructive criticism. “The brows are a little wonky. Is it a character quirk? If not, maybe redo the left for a more curious look, or the right for more relaxed.” Be more willing to help. If they don’t know how to improve, help them, or send them a link.

13) Noobs- if you don’t want criticisms, SAY SO. But you need to know your faceups aren’t perfect (see12). You cant expect everyone to love them immediately. Accept some criticism. Ask about what you can fix. And please do your research before you spam confession blogs with questions. That’ll just get you backlash. Also, not everyone will love your first faceup. So don’t open commissions after two tries at an SD.  if you’re confident in your work, only then should you take commisions.

I think that about covers it. If you wanna add stuff or disagree or whatever do it. Its just my opinion lmao. This kinda feels more like a ramble than a confession so here:

I love the smell of resin and the cracking sound of a new dolls’ joints. It’s like ASMR to me and so therapeutic.

1. In order for me to interact with a blog, your blog must have a ruleset that I am able to find. I need to establish boundaries and to know if out blogs and personalities will mesh well together.

DO NOT ask for ships between characters which have an age gap in which the characters met while one was still a minor. It is fine if the character have an age gap and met while they were BOTH ADULTS. IE if the characters met when one was 20 and one was 40.

9. NSFW Material may be present, and will be tagged. This includes but is not limited to: gore, violence, erotica, and substance abuse. Because of tumblr’s filtering system, I cannot tag them as just “NSFW”, so written erotica will be tagged “Erotica” and “NSFW Text”. Partial nudity in imagery or suggestive imagery will be tagged as “tw: Partial nudity”, “partial nudity”, “suggestive”, and “tw: suggestive” depending on what applies. There will be no full nudity imagery on this blog. (Please note: the mun is a professional illustrator and I will sometimes share my other socials at the request of my followers. These other social medias may contain nudity. Please keep this in mind when viewing and following them.)

10. No instant romances. My muses are not here to fulfill your fetish, and they do not exist JUST to ship with your muses. My muses, as a general rule, are sort of hard to ship with. Here are some rules of thumb about shipping:

Shipping is chemistry based. If there is a relationship in canon, we can assume up to that level. My muses may respond negatively to sexual or romantic advances if they aren’t interested in your muse. If you decide that you are not feeling a ship, feel free to reach out to me OOC and we can absolutely drop it, no pressure! I may do the same if the ship isn’t working for me.

I do NOT change my characters sexuality, gender, mentality or body for a ship. A character who’s a trans man will stay a trans man. A character who has commitment issues will still have commitment issues– however these may be worked through via threads.

I don’t go out of my way to insult people’s ships. I ask that you please do the same, and please respect that if I say I don’t want to ship something, I’m not going to ship it.

The easiest way to ship with me is to reach out to me OOC and let me know there is interest there! If I know you’re interested in a ship and I know it’s one I’m interested in too, we can build up to it in a thread.

If we have a ship planned, feel free to send asks from the perspective of being later-on in the relationship! I do want to have the build up to the ship in a thread, but if you just wanna do something short and fun, I’m more than happy to humor it. Our ships don’t necessarily always have to be linear.

11. I prefer not to do crossover roleplays. I am uncomfortable interacting with characters that I am not familiar with. I will do them with muns I am comfortable with for series that I am familiar with only. This applies to OCs as well– if they do not have a verse for the series that I write for, I may not interact with them with my canon characters.

12. You do not have to match my length. I just ask that you please give me something to work with. I generally prefer paragraph, multi-paragraph, or novella style roleplays. One-liners are typically reserved for asks or crack.

13. Sometimes this blog is slow and low activity. I have mental illnesses and a lot of stuff going on in real life. Please be patient with me and know that I appreciate it so much more than I could ever say.

For the sake of the Mun's sanity, I ask that you please only have one thread with each muse at a time. I will answer asks and all of that, but please keep it to one thread per muse unless you ask me OOC first. Again, this is a hobby and not a job, so if I feel overwhelmed and uninterested in a thread, I will likely drop it because I will forget about it.

14. Please check a muse’s activity level and see if they are request only or selective!

Active muses are my go-to muses and are the ones you see the most.

Request only muses are open but you should ask for them specifically.

Selective muses are low activity and don’t often come to the forefront. I usually don’t have much interest in these muses unless I know a mun and they can give me a plot that interests me.
