Not super into Jessie Gender, but I watched their video on "how we talk about trans men" and I've gotta say it was disappointing asf.

As a trans masc/guy I feel like I can't really have an opinion? Like for me it's like I'm too scared to be angry, like if I am it's just gonna be thrown back at me like "oh it must be those testosterone hormones coming out" or "well of course your all angry your a man" like men can't be sensitive at all or something? It's almost always said in a way to "give me euphoria" cause that's how we're supposed to treat men.

At times it really feels like we're being pushed out of queer spaces because we'll if your a guy you wouldn't wanna be a part of the marginalised group ya know cause "we're escaping to get to privilege" right?

I don't feel like our experience with gender is allowed to be expressed openly and we're absolutely not allowed to be GNC. And honestly the same could probably be said for GNC trans fems too, I don't see a lot of them either.

I feel like in Jessie gender's video they kinda didn't *actually* wanna sit with what they said originally? Like when it came to the Barbie movie I wanted to participate in the conversation of girl hood and how that's still relevant to me and how it's shaped me as the person I am today, how much I enjoyed the Ken dolls experience and how they played with masculine fashion in a way I hadn't seen in a while. But honestly I felt like well this movies for the girls so I probably shouldn't say anything.

Sometimes I wonder if we partially do this to ourselves because a lot of us keep to ourselves and don't really wanna be seen half the time. I haven't talked to the trans masc I knew since we all left Facebook, it's so lonely out here and the more I look for trans content the more I see trans fems and basically only white trans masc (with like maybe 2 poc ones but is that really all we get?) It makes me feel like I don't exist. The only places I can see poc trans masc viking or existing is on sites run by a variety of trans people or is run by a trans masc person living free.

When I see that I think, thank god your fucking real. Thank god I see someone like me thriving and existing out there.

I wanna see more of y'all, like actually see y'all, I feel like I'm fading away as more and more content keeps talking about how bad trans fems (oh and non binary but let's not define what you mean or who you're talking about we just throw them in there cause let's be more inclusive right? But only to you? Great) but the amount of trauma that's in the trans masc community is horrific and is not talked about or addressed at all.

In men's spaces there's not room for queer most of the time, so to find a place to belong and essentially get told my issues aren't as important or that trans fems ("and nonbinary" cause again you're lying to yourself by saying this even if your non-binary) then you're fundamentally missing out on our lives. I don't even feel like we have enough data on us because even the trans masc get lumped in with nonbinary or GNC like that's just fucking normal.

I remember a study was out on trans masc and GNC women about how often all of us deal with sexual assault and it's the closest I've seen and it wasn't even good findings it was depressing. I wish I could find it again. But again that study put us with GNC (pretty sure it was cis) women!

Please not this is coming from someone who's been SA'd pre and post coming out as trans. Did you know some people see us as a way to see if they're gay or bi? Like experiment on us, get us drunk and tell us we should just take it because "well you're supposed to be a man right?" We can't even get to these conversations yet and I'm worried we never will.

Do we even exist? Are we allowed to voice our opinions? Are we allowed to be mad? Are we allowed to be upset with our community? Can we do our own studies? Should we be more visible? I'm scared to, I don't wanna show my face I'm a very private person, but do I need to address that? Is that a bad thing? Is it perpetuated by my environment?

I don't know and honestly I just wanna see more variety of trans masc people, I'm scared we're just gonna stay under the radar and continue to deal with the bullshit we always have.

Ps. Jessie gender 100% did the I have a trans masc friend, no matter how much they said "I'm not doing that" they literally were doing it and there was almost no self reflection on that at all. This wasn't really the video I think they thought it was cause all it did was tell me they don't talk to us very often and that at this point I've just seen heart reacts to comments on their video's comments and not any actual responses to what anyone's said on there. It'll be a process I get it but this video was not good at all and I feel like any trans masc who's getting excited about being seen by a bigish YouTuber is like me desperate for anything validation cause that's kinda how starved we are out here tbh.

TbH this headcanons is also heavily tied with Isaac because i like making SO many connections between those two. He's very proud of his gender and how he looks like, and he loves how he has Jack to make him company! Jack helps him get shots lol

Ok it first started as a silly headcanon inspired by other people's but now i can actually see it

I see this man as a trans man, and a gay man. This man has been kissing dudes since the 40s. He used to have this lover back in the 40s he always wrote letters to, they've all been burned but he sometimes remembers those times. (Also this is the willfrank shipper in me talking but his past lover looked awfully similar to William)

He's also trans because i love transmasc characters that are old i love it. He doesn't bind because he doesn't feel like it, being fat also helps lmao. He loves his body, he just fucking hates the stitches <33

Isaac Grossman

I can't decide if this guy is aro, gay, or bisexual, he's too queer for me. YES, the guy people see as queerphobic is ironically the most queer in my eyes. Imagine the repression he went through from his teenage years to adulthood, the loneliness. He only had one person that could understand him, and it was Jack. With time he forgot he was ever accepted, as he forgot Jack.

He never found any "true love", but there was a man that sticked with him even after death.

Also, yeah, i think the biggest change i gave to his original story is that he's AFAB. How does Will exist? Well, only children weren't exactly common for poor families in the 1800s England. The isolation he felt most of his life, the constant struggle of thinking, knowing, that out of everyone around you, you're alone on this one.

Jack, again, was the only place he could've feel safe, if they just didn't kill that cat. What could've been.

Thank you to @greenbriarc for updating me on the situation! ❤ Firstly all this happened a year ago! Eric has since apologized for his badly worded statement. According to SOME reviews, Jesper is a great rep for the bi community. HOWEVER many bi fans disagreed and personally as a biromantic, I don't like it either. Also I would like to emphasize this is NOT to cancel the cast just to hold them accountable if they mess up like in Jessie and Freddy's case. I understand that with Kit and Danielle it wasn't their fault, but it still kinda hurts I guess. Again, I'm not trying to police anyone's interest and am a strong supporter of the nobody's fav is completely unproblematic mindset. I just wanna remind to NOT put them on a pedestal and when need be, hold them accountable. 😊😊😊 If my original post made it sound like the cast or producers had committed unforgivable wrongdoings and had to be canceled for the rest of forever I apologize 😔

Honest question: what would you do if they made Leo/Dean a Sam/Dean reference? I mean, they're already singing a song together about tv brothers. And Ksite tweeted that the thought Leo is Sam. I'm sorry, but at this point I think that's what they're gonna go for. Just look at the writer /spacekicker and you can see that he almost exclusively interacted with ppl like Kelios. Would you still point out the background and say it means Dean is bi?

Okay so lets just point out 1 thing you have wrong here.

Jeremy aka spacekicker on Twitter has been engaging with lots of fans. I have had a few convos with him myself, as have Min, and Meg, and a few others who I know for sure. He has been very lovely and warm with all of us.

Kelios latched onto him like a fucking leech the minute he announced his promotion to staff writer. She then bombarded him with various questions with her own clear agenda, and he was very graceful to her, but he gave her nothing of what she was looking for. When the spoilers came out revealing Sam and Dean would be separate this ep she got RUDE to him and at that point a few people jumped on board to tell him to ignore her and he went through and liked all our tweets. INCLUDING MINE. He probably has her muted by now.

I saw all of this go down with my own eyes. I have been on Twitter a year with a finger on the pulse of Twitter SPN fandom (I am in like 20 GCs all constantly gossiping it can be a nightmare getting anything done, but I literally ALWAYS know when a writer is active or when the cast are active or when any big drama is going down. It’s unavoidable. I know without a doubt that Jeremy does not prefer interacting with the likes of Special K. He interacts with whoever happens to interact with him. Like they all do.

So please don’t spread false info about a writer because you are feeling rather negative right now.

I am suddenly inclined to recall one of my favourite episodes 11x19. Oh that was such a joy. All the media at the time reported that Cesar and Jessie were hunting brothers and LOL how they all deleted the articles when the show proved them wrong and us RIGHT. I was one of the first people on this hellsite to suggest that they might be husbands. There were a few of us looking at those promo pics and kinda side eyed like “are you guys also getting husband vibes from these two?” and sooooo many people laughed at us and mocked us for daring to assume anything other than brothers. I am pretty sure I even had asks like this in my inbox saying “you are too hopeful. We all know they are gonna be brothers just like that one random article says they are!”. 

Ah that was a happy time for me. 

Anyway, to answer your question, if they DO treat him like some Sam mirror then fine. If so there will probably be some underlying story reason for it (perhaps Leo is a doublecross meant to manipulate and encourage Dean to kill Sam following Chuck’s commands, or maybe the whole thing IS a Djinn dream as some of my friends have speculated in which case Leo may take the role of little brother Dean feels he needs to protect in a fantasy world - if this is the case the lack of Sam in the Djinn dream is itself very interesting). If that’s the case I know with near enough 100% certainty that it won’t come across as gay between Dean and Leo. But the bisexual lighting still stands because Dean is STILL BISEXUAL whether he is physically with Sam or not.

I have never quite understood the anxiety around W*ncest in this fandom as if the show is going to slap textual incest at us all in the final season. The Bronly’s really did a number on quite a lot of fans it seems with their manipulative lies. The show isn’t Game of Thrones. They have textually mocked game of thrones via Chuck as a promise they won’t follow suit. There will be no gay subtext implied between Sam and Dean, even if the gay subtext follows Dean around practically wherever he goes. Look we aren’t expecting miracles from this episode. As lovely as Jeremy is he’s still a newbie writer. Don’t get your hopes up too much, but at the same time try not to bury them completely too soon.

I was soooo tempted to anon this one. But I trust you not to just give me what you think I'd want. I am female, but not particularly 'feminine', of average height, cuddly build and mostly grey hair. I love doggo's, time alone or with one or two people. Personality wise I would say I tend to the maudlin, fiercely loyal and tend to be very accepting of peoples differences. That said I strongly oppose those who wish to oppress others. I'm Bi, so the field is open ;).

Jessie. She is very used to code switching and modulating her language and being extra feminine here to get this type of man to be comfortable with her, or seemingly more masculine here to get this type of man to take her more seriously, so she totally understands that you’re not particularly ‘feminine’ and she enjoys the way you can both relax at the end of a long day and just be yourselves. She likes that you’re an introvert; she’s more of an ambivert herself but those huge speeches really take the energy out of her sometimes and she likes coming home to a nice domestic time with her gf. She is very strict about only having two dogs (too busy to take care of more!) but the spaniels you get are absolutely darling and she is very cute with them. One of them is named Pollux and the other is named Castor and she’ll tell you bedtime stories about two talking dogs having adventures that sound suspiciously very similar in temperament and appearance to your own dogs. 

Alfie. As soon as I read “I strongly oppose those who wish to oppress others” it was like a light went on in my head. Like nothing gives Alfie more joy than taking his position as a powerful man who can’t be fucked with, and then also his position in society as a Jewish man who people don’t like (this is Dreyfuss era, ain’t it?) and then mixing them up and just rubbing them in people’s faces. And he’d do anything for you, so through you that weirdly cheerful brand of vengeance extends itself to the people you care about, too. Also, doggos? The man loves doggos. Big ones. Cyril is only a fraction of the pack, in both quantity and size.
