not my usual stuff but I have a hc for Stranger Things. The reason why Erica is so confident, and so proud of who she is is bc of Lucas. When Erica was was like 6-7 she was getting bullied and Lucas told her there can’t be America without Erica, he went on a whole rant on how cool she is. He was hoping that it’d make her feel better, it worked. No, I’m not saying that every single ounce of confidence came from Lucas(or that confidence in general come from other people!!) I’m just saying that Lucas helped push that confidence to the surface!

It has dawned on me that Omni-Man and Ego are the villainous trash dads that Ken Penders didn't know he needed to make Locke into.

Of course, I could also bring up Slade Wilson due to some different kinds of similarities. It will never not astonish me how completely Penders missed all that loathsomeness he wrote for his character.
