getting up on my soapbox for a moment. i find it laughable that nearly every time someone says they don’t like rap they cite hamilton and k-pop as the only rap they can tolerate. because everything else is just so violent and full of blatant consumerism. first off. so is k-pop. secondly. idk how to tell you the founding fathers were some of the most violent people around (coming from a black american descentant of slaves who is most likely related to thomas jefferson. shouldn’t have to explain the relevance here). thirdly. hamilton and k-pop both reference and interpolate rap. so idk what to tell you babes. you do like rap. you just don’t like black people. say it with your full chest next time.

Watching two asian gay guys take down the model minority myth and a transphobic society with their small genderfluid child wasn't on my bingo but damn I'm glad that it exists

cool fun fact for sunday
East Asia and South of South America are Antipodes meaning that they are in completely opposite points on the globe.
This means that when Acau joins we will have ccs in oppolise places playing together. People who physically could not be further away from each other.
The ones in buenos aires would be the furthest but i doubt Carre will play so I think cellbit or bagi are next. (idk where exactly they live but I'm pretty sure they come from the south of brazil)
Here is a map of the world showing antipodes. The areas in orange are perfectly opposite to each other.

do you think the reason batfam fanon focuses soooo heavily on jason & tim is that they're the two canonically "not confirmed to be anything other than default white" boys

The way Qian can't even bring himself to genuinely say no, to deny himself, but cannot admit his feelings either. He cannot face himself just as he cannot face Yuan and can barely face Lili.
(He's been trying to protect them so long but never realized how much Yuan was protecting him as well, how taken care of he was, until he lost it all.)
Yuan's worry reflecting on Qian's own pained and lonely state, Qian being so determined to keep Yuan from coming back to take care of him again even as he realizes how much that meant to him, both of them protecting each other.
Even across the sea, even across nothing but text, Yuan still gets the response out of Qian that no one else does, still gets him to start to take care of himself and to think about himself.
Because Qian loves him and knows he is loved, knows that Yuan loves him in a way that is different than everyone else, has relied on that love for so long.
(And everything is a reminder of Yuan, everyone knew Yuan, everyone knew how he took care of Qian and how much Qian relied on him even if Qian didn't know.)
