. . . ICE CREAM! featuring xiao!

contains! . . . genshin impact, adeptus xiao :OO !!, ooc probably, gn! reader, can be read as either platonic or romantic (though mainly platonic cuz there's barely any hints of romance here), reverse isekai (cuz there's hardly any content about it), xiao being randomly isekai'd to our world 💀, this is kind of inspired by the fact that I AM IN MANILA RN-, pinipig ice cream cuz I recently just ate one I love it so much that I got the motivation to write smth about it!!!, reader is on vacation, reader is kinda knowledgeable here- notes! . . . wew!! the plot's kinda shitty but whatever.

“... what is this.”

with a narrowed gaze, xiao stares at the chocolate coated ice cream he holds by the stick—suspicious of the frozen delight treat that you gave in front of him.

ever since the adepti had been isekai'd into your world and into your country, you'd thought to have some fun showing him around and letting him (more like encouraging him, actually. he's pretty reluctant to do anything since the guy's unfamiliar with the place) try things that weren't in the existence of Teyvat's regions.

(and to also teach him how to act appropriately without raising suspicions. thank goodness that you had spare clothes that fit him well, unless you want to deal with A LOT OF unwanted attention and unnerving stares).

and right now, you and xiao were sitting on a bench nearby a sari-sari store you've just came out of to buy some delicious treats—considering the concerning slight increase of warm temperature in your area near the hotel you're staying at (damn the sun).

plus, you wanted to cool down a bit before continuing to explore the capital of the Philippines, Manila, which you were originally taking a vacation in before xiao came barging into your life like a whirlwind of chaos.

(literally. he suddenly crashed right on to your bed while you were taking a shower before going to bed, which created a loud noise and made you get out of the bathroom to check what's going on—let's just say a lot of yelling from you and xiao being xiao alarmed the owner of the hotel for them to come knocking on your door to check if anything's okay there. you had to lie to their poor face, shouting from the other side that you have everything under control while you were manhandling and restraining the adepti the best you could. in the morning, after you and xiao settled things down for the night, you decided to fake up a story to the owner that the “friend” of yours had decided to spook the hell out of you by coming in through your window that night and that he needed to stay for a while—which they surprisingly bought and let you and your proclaimed “friend” xiao to switch to a bigger room for the both of you to stay in. rip your wallet though).

meanwhile, the corners of your mouth quirk up into a smile as you also were holding an ice cream that was identical to his, “oh! its called pinipig ice cream. its basically a vanilla ice cream bar that was rolled in pinipig before then coated in a layer of melted liquid chocolate. then, its settled aside for the chocolate to cool down before its packaged and shipped to places where it'll be sold.”

“what is ‘pinipig’?”

“basically a flattened rice ingredient that's made of immature grains of glutinous rice pounded until flat before being toasted.”

“... huh.”

then you randomly grasped xiao's wrist—the one he was using his hand to hold his ice cream—and gently guided the treat slightly closer to his mouth, which sort of startled him by your actions but you payed no mind to that.

“try it! it's delicious, I promise.” you flash him a more prominent smile as you let go of his wrist and tested your hand by your side, now anticipating for the guy to take a bite of the ice cream before it starts melting. xiao stares at the treat momentarily, debating if he should do what you've suggested him to do or should he not—nonetheless, he tried it anyways and took a small bite out of the corner of the ice cream.

“... its good.”

after moments of waiting and xiao stating his thought about the frozen delight, you pumped your fist and grunting a “yes!” to yourself which makes xiao briefly ponder what the neck you just did but just decided to eat his ice cream any ways, making you also eat your own ice cream before it could start to melt on your fingers.

you were sort of glad to have someone to company you on your vacation, even if it's an anemo vision wielding adeptus from a hit video game you knew all and well that got isekai'd here into your world for no apparent reason. but for now, you'll just chill for a while during your vacation until you can soon find a way to get him back to his world once again.

let's just hope he doesn't find out he's a fictional playable character whose only purpose is to serve and fill in a role in the game for entertainment (and comfort) reasons.

Someone has probably already made this before but I've never seen it so I made this mainly for my own convenience but I'm posting it here anyway. Some of these kills are technicalities (and others were also excluded bc of technicalities) so some numbers on this list are debatable but I tried to make it as accurate as possible

Scott: Joel - 7 (Ngl I laughed. The entire reason I made this list was for this statistic I wish more people acknowledged how comically violent scott's retaliations are against Joel's antics sometimes. Literal tom and jerry moment)

Joel: Cleo - 7 (really surprising actually. I've watched all of Joel's povs like twice and have never realized how often he killed Cleo)

Grian: Scar - 5 Jimmy - 6? (one kill is questionable due to it being the warden kill in SL so if anyone should be credited its Etho, which is why I'm still including Scar on this list)

Etho: Scar - 5 (worlds healthiest father son duo)

Martyn: Tango - 4 (this number + how much their characters clash (martyn 'will betray allies at any moment if the situation calls for it' inthelittlewood vs tango 'probably has trust issues and a bad history with true loyalty within teams' tek) make me think these 2 would have an incredible alliance. and by incredible I mean it would crash and burn and I would love every second of it)

The Messy Kidnap Fam Longfic

It all starts with Mae and Mags finding Elrond and Elros in Elwing's wardrobe post-oath-induced-rage fugue.

Elros and Elrond put up a hell of a fight to Not Get Taken and are absolutely convinced that a) Elwing has been murdered and b) they're also about to get murdered.

Maedhros gets bitten by Elros >:3

Mae and Mags have a debate about What To Do With them. I feel like maybe Mae initially is like "Put Those Back Where They Came From or So Help Me" at Mags, but the only idea they come up with is maybe leaving the twins at the edge of what's left of Sirion in the hopes that they'll be found (because if they tried to drop off the twins in person they'd get attacked on sight by Gil Galad and Cirdan). But Mae can't stop worrying that they'll die of exposure that way (he still feels awful about what happened to Elured and Elurin at Doriath).

They both realize at the exact same time that Elwing and Earendil Might Want Their Kids Back and Might Be Willing to Do A Lot to get them back, and so Elrond and Elros would be excellent hostages who could potentially be ransomed for a Silmaril.

So Elrond and Elros are very much hostages at this point. Mae and Mags do not really interact with them at all (save for Mags poking around in their minds to try and get some information out of them. Which Mae disapproves of but doesn't care enough about to stop him. He's in a bad way rn. Like his last other baby brother save Mags just died and he himself just participated in a massacre and he doesn't feel particularly good about it. They didn't even get a Silmaril and their own forces are fragmented post Sirion. My boy is barely keeping things together. They're together with duct tape and string at this point).

The twins are carted along the road back to Amon Ereb but kept under too heavy guard for them to be able to escape.

Also absolutely nobody in camp understands how to look after Peredhil. The twins do not get enough food to start with and they probably get sick from the elements, and this does go unnoticed for a WHILE.

They get back to Amon Ereb and are promptly put in a horrible little white room with a lock on the door. Again, Mae and Mags are not much interested with interacting with them at this point. Mags is a bit more interested but that's mostly because the twins remind him of Ambarussa and he's also emotionally unstable.

Mae sends ransom demands to Elwing, Earendil, and Gil-Galad, and they wait.

The twins are still hungry and sick, and convinced that they're gonna die. Also Mags keeps interacting with them and it's scary.

(They do get a window because keeping elves or elf adjacent beings away from view of the stars is unthinkably cruel, even for Mae and Mags. But they also still continue to be pretty neglected, and there is really nothing to do in that room. Elrond goes pretty catatonic at this point and Elros starts trying to tear holes through the drywall).

At some point it occurs to Mags and Mae that the twins are in poor condition and that's not really good when it comes to trying to ransom them.

They don't really know what to do though and so they consult some humans in their service, who are understandably like "uhhhhhhhhh they need more food and some medicine probably boss. Also it's kind of cold for them actually like sure it's fine for an elf but these are actual half-human babies).

Cue the twins finally getting some basic help. I have a vague idea that they bond with a human nurse that's sent in to look after them because Mae and Mags just cannot be bothered to Think About It.

Mae especially is pointedly staying away because it's too painful to be around the twins because a) they remind him of his brothers and b) they remind him of everything awful he's ever done and he can't handle that guilt.

Things continue to be Bad For A While.

Also I forgot to mention that Elrond and Elros have a poor grasp of Quenya at best, and so they really don't understand anything being said around them. They're picking it up fast though. Especially Elrond.

Finally a rejection of the ransom demands comes back.

What the fuck.

Mae absolutely goes into a rage over this because he literally does not know what else he can do. Because apparently Earendil and Elwing are on a boat somewhere with his father's Silmaril.

"What are we doing with the twins?"

Elrond and Elros are more convinced than ever that they're gonna get killed.

It's agreed that the twins should be dropped off somewhere to be found by Gil-Galad, and that trip begins. They likely send a letter to Gil-Galad announcing that they're returning the twins.

Gil-Galad has absolutely no reason to believe that the twins are alive and smells a trap. He does not come to pick up the twins.

Mae and Mags do watch (or have someone else watch) from a distance to make sure the twins are collected. The twins are not collected. The day wanes on into night. It gets really cold. The twins start bawling because they really think they're going to die now.

Mae really can't bear that and also at this point he's mad at everyone and everything.

They recollect the twins and decide that they're just going to have to look after them now until they're old enough to go back to Gil on their own.

Cue a very long tiptoe process of Mags getting attached to the twins and Mae refusing to (he's actually a big softie though so eventually he does).

I have way more ideas about later stages but this is already getting ridiculously long, sorry.

TLDR: (but I can elaborate more if people want me to): Mae and Mags finally start to get a grasp on Peredhil needs but wow is the damage done.

Elrond and Elros are veeeery slow to trust.

Super codependant relationship forms, with Elrond especially terrified of being left again because Mae and Mags are the only people who seem to want them now. Elrond starts emotionally regulating Mae and Mags just as much (if not more) than he used to for Elwing.

Mae and Mags get very attached to the twins and use them to cling to the last remnants of their personhood. This is not a good thing.

There's obviously more here I've thought this out very thoroughly.

Love grew between them but it was fucked from the start, essentially.

Also um something something the twins losing their Sindarin and not being raised in their Sindarin culture and essentially getting unintentionally completely colonized by Mae and Mags :/ icky and unavoidable.

As someone who very recently came into possession of a labradoodle who is more poodle than lab, how about that for dog!des? Specifically the fact that their fur is a fucking nightmare to deal with if not brushed regularly. Like twice a day regularly.

Shaun was an awful owner.

Truly.

He should never be in charge of any pet at all.

Desmond felt like his second life as a labradoodle is his own personal hell than a chance for a second life.

Forget about his plans to become the most awesome Assassin dog once he grew bigger.

He wasn’t going to survive his life as a puppy because the new mentor (some dude named Elijah) ordered Shaun and Rebecca to take care of him.

Okay.

Rebecca was awesome.

She never forgot his meal time. She walk him around the little suburban compound they were staying at the moment every morning and every afternoon. She let him run around the house and threw balls for him to chase (look, Desmond learned early on that he cannot fight certain canine urge, it was part of the whole “I got reincarnated into a dog” deal).

But she was, and Desmond could not stress this enough, nine months pregnant since last week.

Desmond couldn’t even wrap his head around the whole “yeah, Shaun and Rebecca are now married and soon will have their first kid” thing.

So…

Rebecca was ordered by a doctor named Chewy to rest and to not do any stressful and/or strenuous activities.

And, according to Shaun, Desmond was a stressful and strenuous activity.

First of all, fuck Shaun.

Second of all, Chewy also told Rebecca to try and move around the house and Desmond accompanied her whenever she did and, not once, did Rebecca call him a stress fur ball (like Shaun).

Third of all, Desmond knew that Shaun was actually the most stressed among the three of them. He was worried about Rebecca and he was still doing work for the Brotherhood.

But still…

“What happened to you? Why is your fur like this?”

He was so awful at taking care of Desmond.

He didn’t forget meal time (thank god) but that was because they timed his meal time at the same time as their meal time. Rebecca reminded Shaun to eat with her each time and Shaun automatically prepares Desmond’s food during that time (according to Rebecca, the mentor told them that Desmond cannot eat dog food so Desmond’s food is usually rice, some kind of meat and a bit of vegetables that are okay for him to eat, all… not seasoned at all but Desmond can deal with that)

Walk though… Desmond had to bark at Shaun just to remind him to walk him. One time, Shaun was in the middle of a debate (via messenger) with one of Erudito’s hackers and Desmond just gave up and peed on his leg.

No.

Desmond was not embarrassed. He lost all semblance of human embarrassment when he first had to shit on the grass while Rebecca was watching.

Now, all he felt was smugness whenever Shaun would sigh but grab his jacket so they could take a walk.

But Shaun’s worst offense was his inability to remember Rebecca telling him that Desmond needs to be brushed often.

Like…

At least twice a day.

Thrice would be better.

Rebecca usually brushed him after every meal and after their walk.

Because she knew how much of a nightmare his fur would become if it wasn’t properly cared.

But Shaun.

Shaun kept forgetting it and Desmond had to sit still while Shaun grumbled as he brushed his fur.

Seriously…

Desmond was honestly worried that Shaun would have this much trouble caring for their future baby.

Desmond would probably have to step up as the dog nanny.

Yippee.

Mikoto time!! Thank you for the request -- I know it's risky posting headcanons so close to Double, but I'll come back and ammend anything that might be proven wrong on Wednesday 😂

🧸 A headcanon about their childhood: Through his early schooling years, Mikoto was present for a lot of extracurricular activities. He didn't always care/give his all, he just enjoyed hanging out with others and fooling around. The reason he can be such good friends with everyone is because he's picked up on tons of little things over the years by dabbling in all those arts, fields of study, sports, etc. Once he finds out your hobby, he can immediately retrieve some bit of knowledge/memory to get a conversation going, or even join in the activity. Mahiru is pleasantly surprised by his classic literature references, gardening club gets him on Shidou's good side, Muu likes talking to him about fashion tips, he can play sports with Fuuta, he tries to bond over band memories with Amane, and so on. When he was a kid he was just trying things out for fun, but as an adult he's grateful he picked up on so much.

💔 An angsty headcanon: He's accustomed to, and expects, bad separations. So many friendships and relationships ended on a very sour note, so now he's used to pulling away first. (There was no aggression or violence, but) the appearance of different alters followed by the host's insistent denials would make others think poorly of him. The more he claims ignorance, the more it seems like he's just gaslighting/manipulating, so there have been a few explosive separations in which he had no idea what went wrong. Because of that, it's been harder to get close to anyone, and he will start pulling away the minute things show signs of trouble. It's why he left the smoking group so quickly, and doesn't hang out with the other prisoners as often in T2. Instead of waiting for an inevitable fight, he ends things immediately and peacefully.

Please don't ask for forgiveness nor should you feel shame, especially since you do have it right. The only man I care most deeply in that universe was the boughkeeper.

He reminds me of His Majesty, King Dimitri. I've always entertained the notion that if the latter and I were born in a more equal societal footing, we might end up as partners in knighthood. I think somewhere out in that alternate realm, "Dainsleif" and my counterpart had committed to achieving that dream. In addition, he and I are currently working together on a project— and I believe Dainsleif does find my face familiar prior to our meeting.

Lord Kamisato? Well... He... literally sounds a lot like Dimitri. I've heard his voice. I had the privilege to talk to one of his versions several times when the soul was misplaced. I quite like him. As for finding a semblance of romantic attraction towards him, that's another complicated matter. I don't believe I am as fond of him as Dainsleif. But I can't be too sure...

I suppose if we're talking about admiration, "Duke" Wriothesley and architect Kaveh have their charms. The duke is quite the smooth talker and has the suaveness to pull it off. Meanwhile Kaveh has a certain "relatability" factor fellow artists would nod at. Do I find myself sparking a romantic attraction for either men? Unlikely.

This is likely such a disappointing answer. As much as I liked traversing Teyvat, I doubt I'd find my soulmate there. It's similar to looking at a restaurant's menu, appreciating its variety, but has no intent in placing an order. That... Probably sounds ridiculous.

our first space lesbians are loki + sigyn from the bifrost incident! TBI is an album by the band the mechanisms which you can find wherever you listen to music (youtube here) its a norse mythology inspired rock/steampunk-esque album and it is SO GOOD- it takes place on a train in SPACE in the format of an incident investigation. its a story so you have to listen to the tracks in order :)

next up! this is how you lose the time war- our lesbians in this are called red + blue because we have deconstructed this trope to its most basic format at this point :') its a short book, and you may be familiar with it as it went viral from a trigun fan tweet a few months back. (my url (and sewing blog url) are actually references to a quote from this book!) you can get it wherever you get books and id recc the audiobook if youre into that i am also in possession of the pdf if you wantto try before you buy.

tihylttw is a story told through the exchange of letters between two agents on opposite sides of a war- it usually gets described as enemies to lovers but id personally use rivals as i think it describes them better. the book is known for being incredibly poetic and sometimes pretentious in its writing and i just think its the most beautiful thing ever. lesbians do it better

honestly theres nothing i could say for tihylttw better than it could say for itself, i just adore the universe theyve built and i want to KNOW MORE. i love you and i love you and i want to find out what that means together

saving the best for last is my girls angela + sera. the most of all time. nobody compares to them for me. they consume me

angela + sera are from marvel comics and you can find my complete reading list here, but if im talking about them positively, im usually talking about one of the titular Angela comics, and more often than not queen of hel.

honestly i love the angela comics so much that im making myself speechless trying to figure out where to start. Angela falls into the asgard side of marvel comics, though she is a lot more fluid in her affiliations, her whole thing being that she deals in deals- nothing for nothing everything has its price. she is at times described as emotionless and is generally quite a stoic character, especially around strangers. the major exception to this is her wife, sera. seras one of marvels few canon trans characters and i think she is just so wonderfully written. shes witty and cheeky and doesnt take shit from anyone, even when it gets her into trouble- and oh boy does sera find herself in some predicaments! the angela comics are often just as poetic as tihylttw for me, theyll drop an 'as long as you are with me, i am not afraid' and ill need to go smother myself in a pillow for a sec. in QOH they adopt a daughter who is Also a lesbian, shes an alternate version of leah of hel and i ALSO adore her.

im desperately trying to avoid plot points but god. the main arc is 21 issues of smooching Shakespearean space angels what more could you want?

(through sera & angela we get a lot of heven lore and honestly that could be its whole own thing for me im SO fascinated.)

my girls are currently in comic hell, i am praying they will get something good soon 🙏🙏

I said this a year ago and I'll say it again, Realgars have Broly energy! They just do. It was so easy to figure this out actually. Realgars are pretty strong as is, but I think Broly here would be a perfect cut Realgar. Perfect cut Gems are the cream of the crop when it comes to their particular gemtypes and tend to be way stronger than them as well. A perfect analogy to Broly being well, the Legendary Super Saiyan.

I'm not kidding. I think Mauga would be a Realgar too! Although the reasoning I have is kind of just "it makes sense to me" though so fhnjgfhngjg. And maybe because he acts a lot like some of the Realgars I've seen in roleplays. I do think he'd have his regular weapon though because I feel like Realgars' weapons in general are made and given to the entire gemtype.

Listen, this was so obvious. Geb is a water Stand, Lapis Lazulis have control over water, it just makes sense. N'doul would still be blind (also obviously) but I think he'd be able to hang on through sheer stubbornness and through utilizing his water manipulation abilities in entirely different ways to get his job done avoid being shattered. Yes, he still does the cane sonar thing.

These were the absolute fastest redesigns of my LIFE after writing that long alien clothes meta. The old ones weren't THAT old but given tmmn's latest ep giving us a LOT more looks at alien fashion...I Went For It and just. gave the ladies more clothes. actively fighting the urge to redesign ALL of my alien ocs...

I renamed Chiffon to Shebakia given we now have a canon Chiffon haha... 😶 I think people would call her Sheb for short. She LOOKs like a Sheb (compliment.) I really didn't give THAT much info about them in the old post, so...you know what? More info about them under the cut. 👇

Two alien ladies, Shebakia and Eclaire! The art of them in their 20s was around 20 years (ish...?) before TM2 starts, so they'd be in their 40s while TM2 is happening.

Eclaire is a seamstress and has a somewhat abrasive, self-centered personality. She doesn't get along with a lot of people, and doesn't bother to try. Her quality of work speaks for itself, and she figures the only friend she REALLY needs is Shebakia.

Shebakia is her absolute best friend since they've known each other since they were children, and Eclaire feels possessive/protective towards her because Shebakia is a lot more quiet and gentle. (....There may or may not have been a one-sided love there. :))

Shebakia is soft-spoken, but not actually a total pushover. She works as a gardener and doesn't mind getting her hands dirty or doing 'rough' work. She just really enjoys being outside and working in nature! Her and Eclaire are opposites in that way, and Sheb finds it really funny that Eclaire keeps making her such nice clothes knowing she'll just end up getting them dirty. (Eclaire says she'll keep making clothes for Her Girl so she looks nice even if she's 'rolling around with the worms'. Sheb is about the only person Eclaire isn't outright rude to, but she does tease her lmao. Almost flirtily. Almost.)

...Shebakia ends up betrothed to someone else, and Eclaire, not being able to stand that but also not willing to outright confess her own feelings, inserts herself under the guise of being a live-in nanny/helper with the intention of sabotaging the relationship. (Of course, Sheba is thrilled because living with the two people she loves most sounds great, she'd love for her best friend to help raise her kid with her and her partner! Oh, yeah, Shebakia is pregnant now. Whoops. Much harder to sabotage a relationship with a kid underfoot...it COMPLICATES things, just a tad.)

...But Eclaire's help is very soon necessary because Shebakia gets really, really ill, something Eclaire decides the pregnancy made way worse/sped up because it took so much strain on an already ill Shebakia's body. Her health continues to decline, but she lives for roughly 7-8 years after before finally passing away, with Eclaire dedicating as MUCH time as possible to trying to care for her and going into depression over this herself.

Eclaire is devastated, but in the way that she's numb and doesn't want to live on this stupid world without Her Sheb. She knew it was coming. But that doesn't make it hurt less. She hangs around for maybe another 7 years, making some very poor choices trying to cope and feel normal before deciding, nope, she can't hang around here with Everything Making her Think Of The Girl She Was Never Technically With but In Love with, no one on this planet can fix anything, she's too stressed and wants none of the responsibility she has now. She needs a new start. So... she steals a small ship and decides to explore the stars.

Eclaire is now a space pirate. Eclaire now has a crew of various alien species. Eclaire has now successfully entirely missed the Uchushi invasion, and her people evacuating onto Queen's ship and heading to Earth.

Eclaire Does Not Know About Any Of That. Missed the plot entirely. But she DOES know about Earth, duh, all the aliens do. Their people originally came from there, all the mew business happened there.

...Maybe she'll pop back into the story for a quick visit.

Surely that'll be okay! Just a quick tourism pit stop!

(by the way, it's hard to tell bc her pose and her arm covering it but Eclaire's younger design's sash has gold stripe in the middle ><;; aaand she cut her hair short for ease of styling, but also..doesn't it resemble Shebakia's...? :") )

I went scrounging around my old deviantart and found the very very first draft of Eclaire (...maybe not actually the first? but the..one I could actually find amongst my messy dA account, lmao) from 2018!! still the same idea, just...impractical mesh spacesuit, for the sake of boob window...? and yowch at those boots 😭 originally orange-eyed tho. Changed that...

ok unsolicited demons say swears show review for episodes 5&6 that came out yesterday: the pacing is HORRENDOUS and feels like they wrote an episodic show before they remembered it was supposed to be serialized and had to very loosely try to stitch everything together. however i am genuinely surprised at how solid some of these plot points are and i think some could be really good if they were just given some time to take a goddamn BREATH

#ALSO THE DESIGNS FOR THE ANGELS ARE KINDA . KINDA COOL ACTUALLY ???#they still did the thing where the coolest designs are on the background characters #but compared to. Current Situation would actually probably be solved if I stopped looking to Projects for all my satisfaction in life

#i wrote out a list of the things i would need to research to write the *fics* that i want to work on #let alone my actual Official Grad School Projects #of which i have several other ideas in the works besides the ones which i'm actually doing for final papers #and then of course there are several original stories i want to write too but those are who knows how far out #current thing i've been spinning around in my head is writing something about lascars on east india company ships #(specificallly i have set my heart on writing a story about a mutiny on board one of them which ties in with Indian History happenings #in the general outside world and everything sort of being in a process of change (have not decided on an era yet hence Vague)#and also the main characters are a nayar boy and mappila muslim boy who he has a huge crush on and they get a love story)#not really sure how to make this story work at all because the amount of things i'd want to know for it #involve several decades of research probably to do it well #but hey that's never stopped me!#not to mention the fact that i started reading about 18th c. conceptions of sex and now want to work more on hornblower top surgery fic #with more fun and spicy early 1800s medical debates and such #and also i want to work on my stephen getting captured by the french but it's canto jo i la muntanya balla fic #which *also* involves lots and lots of research so ughhhh #i wonder how i got into this situation. i wonder why everything feels like So Much 🤔🤔🤔 could not be my fault at all #perce rambles

I'm getting sick of yelling at thieves and crackheads who come in the store stealing petty shit just to feul their drug habits to get out of the store, or having to deal with incompetent or fucking stupid ass customers bitching about why they can exchange an item even though it's past our policy rate.

The job doesn't even pay well working as a manager at the job I work at doesn't even pay even well why is the job next door to me paying like 16 bucks an hour as a manager but a store that is likely part of a grocery store is only paying me 14.25 and to be a key holder 15 bucks ?? Bullshit

#not saying I'm not grateful to have said job but still bullshit..#like they don't even want to hire security but then they bitch about people stealing and why the cells are low and when we explain to them #people are fucking stealing they blame us and cut our hours but then be bitching about oh my God why are we getting phone calls about angry #customers about long lines and how there's little to no help it's because you cut our hours dipshits!!#getting paid 15 bucks or even 16 bucks 3 years ago was the best thing ever and that was actually for managers but doing that now is nothing #that's something you should be paying people now the average person as jobs that pay up to 16 or 22 or the manager positions.#sometimes I debate whether living is even worth it anymore as I'm obviously not happy in my life but #but I always think about my family my boyfriend and friends and God and always think there's a reason why I'm on this Earth and that #in order to experience some form of life or lessons you have to go through something I mean bullshit but still #I mean 2023 has been a decent year for me pretty much one of the best years I can say much better than last year of the Year prior to that #but fuuuckkk 2024 better be the year where I finally earn money and work on getting my own place and not having to struggle or worry about #whether I will be eating lunch today or not or whether I should probably kill myself today or not
