Seeing these new images (and the season 3 announcement) has watered my crops, cleared my skin and all that jazz ✨🌟 both of them look soo happy and soppy and smitten and I really can't stop smiling at those pics... They radiate warmth (and are a far cry from the last pics of MS we got) and the best thing is, the people around them are looking like '😏😏 yes homo 🏳️‍🌈? If it is then good for them, good for them' (I even edited the pics XD)

Good lord, my inbox has completely blown up since last night. I can see we've all been greatly affected by the photo(s) of Michael and David at the Donmar, and there is surely much to discuss.

I think I am losing my shit just slightly too, so I am with you, @enchantingdefendorarbiter. What a joyous turn of events--opening night of Macbeth and Michael in (almost) the front row watching David with rapt attention, and someone somehow capturing the exact moment when they lock eyes from across the room in a "movie moment" made into genuine reality.

When I first saw the picture last night, I was so struck by the intimacy of it. Part of me wonders if this is due to the actual space--the Donmar is such a small theatre that lends itself to intimacy just by its nature, with the audience being so close to the stage and the performers. But there is no denying the intimacy that exists between Michael and David themselves--deep friendship, certainly, yes, but after looking at this photo, unquestionably the possibility of more.

As I've said before, I will not ever tell anyone that they have to ship Michael and David. It is absolutely correct for people to look at this picture and see best friends, because they are best friends. But being best friends and falling in love aren't mutually exclusive, nor does the possibility become closed off just because both of them are in other relationships.

So, intimacy. Another thing that intimacy can mean is feeling comfortable enough to show your feelings openly. That was what also struck me about last night, was that this was so public, and yet we got this (non-staged, non-planned) picture of Michael and David looking at each other ostensibly the same way they do when they're alone together. In this instance, maybe they thought no one was paying attention, but more significantly, they don't seem to care either way.

I think we think of "being in love" as this big, grand thing that exists the way it does in the movies. But in real life, being in love isn't just one specific thing, or specifically saying "I am in love with you." Being in love can also be I am looking at you like this right now because I don't know any other way to look at you. And that can be in private, or it can be in the middle of a crowded theatre, proudly letting the world see what you feel without apology.

(I also agree with you, @yami-no-kokoro, that the new pictures of Michael (which to answer your question @angelsandfelines are indeed from last night) are worlds away better than the ones we saw of him at a previous event. I am never not moved by the difference between Michael smiling his 'showbiz' smile versus smiling his real, genuine smile, and I love that that's what we got last night and that he was beaming so brightly because of David.)

To your comment, @phantomstars24, I could very much see that as well. Because last night felt and still feels like it was David and Michael's night. It felt like something took center stage in a new and painfully lovely way. It felt like Michael could go to David's dressing room with flowers and wine, and that they could sit on the couch and snog slowly and sweetly while Michael holds David in his arms and no one would blink a damn eye. And that is truly a beautiful thing.

So yes, those are my additional thoughts on the Macbeth press night. I have to do some traveling today, but I will try my best to answer the other Asks still waiting in my inbox. Thank you all for writing in and sharing your thoughts! x

Snow and Cuddels.

Word count:1333

Paring: Zora Ideale x reader

Summary: Snow day turned into cuddles with the best prankster who is allergic to wearing a shirt.

Warnings: Not much, cursing, mentions of colds and frostbite, maybe ooc Zora

A/n: Hello everyone, I hope you enjoy this. I am aware some of the bulls are not mentioned, i just couldn’t think of what to have them doing. Also this is my first time writing for Zora so it may be a little off, I’m hoping with this event to write for more fandoms and maybe get some requests in as well, but who knows. Anyway, have fun, enjoy and remember to Hydrate or Diedrate.

Winter has finally arrived in the Clover Kingdom, and I couldn’t be happier. Playing in the snow with friends and family, baking cookies and making candy, and drinking hot chocolate, just some of the many fun things to do when winter hits. And of course today was the first day that there was a decent amount of snow, and Captain Yami kindly gave all of us at the Black Bulls hideout the day off.

Charmy decided she’s going to be baking and cooking all day, Vanessa is already passed out drunk, Magna and Luck are fighting over whatever one of them did this time, Gouache is well being Gouche, Gordon is trying to hang with gouache but is just being creepy, and Gray is hiding from everything. The more rambunctious and childish of the group were outside in the snow, this included Asta trying to get Noelle to participate in a snowball fight, Finral has made a snow person he’s practicing his flirting with. That just leaves Me and my grumpy boyfriend who just wants to go inside because ‘shit it’s cold out here’, I’m trying to get him to enjoy the chilly weather but Zora being well himself refuses to, I don't know, put on a shirt and try to enjoy this free time.

“Come on, Y/n why do you want to be out here it’s freezing. Why don’t we go lay down and cuddle? Or steal whatever Charmy has made for the day, we could also mess up Gouche’s creepy sister shrine again.” I turned to the red head slouched against the wall, rolling my eyes at him in response. “What are you even doing over there? It’s just snow, what can you possibly be doing with it?” He asked, pushing off the wall, moving to look over my shoulder.

I lend further over my creation to hide it from him. “You don’t get to see it until it’s done. If you don’t want to be out here, you can go in if you want. If you really want to mess with the others, have fun, I’m enjoying it out here.” I tried to tell him he didn’t have to stay out here.

“You know it’s not as fun if you’re not helping, plus you know where Vanessa hides her booze. Plus you could get sick if you stay out here too long.” Zora said, still trying to see the snow creation I was working on.

“Why do you want Vanessa’s booze? You know what nevermind with that, but seriously if you want to go inside you can, I won’t blame you. I just hoped we could do something fun out here, instead of staying cooped up all day. And I won’t get sick, I’ll be fine.” I said, leaning back to show him what I had finished making.

Zora paused processing the drawing I had carved in the patch of flat snow in front of me. It was a crescent moon along the side of one of his trap spells, to represent both of our magics, in the center was our initials. “I know it’s cheesy and won’t last long out here cause it will melt eventually, but it just popped into my head and I need to physically see it and show you. I was thinking we could maybe get it made into necklaces or something?” I explained my thinking. I hoped he understood what I was saying.

“It’s amazing. But why draw it out here in the snow, if you want to get it made into necklaces or something you’re gonna have to draw it again on paper, why not wait till you go inside?” He asked, looking at me quizzically.

I thought for a second before answering. “I just didn’t want to forget it plus, I want to stay out here as long as possible. Since I finished, would you want to pummel Asta with some snow balls?” I asked knowing he would want to cause some kind of trouble.

He just groaned at the thought of being in the cold any longer. “Fine but after we bury him in the snow we are going inside and cuddling.” He answered standing up straight and offering me his hand to help me up.

“Deal as long as we get Hot cocoa before cuddles.” I started moving behind a tree close to where Asta was now trying (and failing) to build a snowman. “Let’s hide from him here and make some snowballs, before we launch our attack.” I said bending down and beginning to make some roughly ball shaped clumps of snow to throw at the young boy.

After about ten minutes of making and throwing snowballs at a screaming Asta, and him running over Finral. Zora and I decided it was time to go inside for the rest of the day and finally get some hot chocolate, mostly because Zora’s chest was now bright red from being in the cold for so long while shirtless.

We made our way inside, snagging some cocoa and cookies from Charmy, before heading up to our shared room. I couldn’t help but laugh as the normally grumpy and closed off Zora dropped onto the bed sighing while thanking whoever assigned our room for it having walls without cracks so the cold couldn’t be felt inside it.

“You know if you put on a shirt you wouldn’t be so cold in the winter right?” I asked, raising an eyebrow as I took a sip of my hot cocoa.

He just rolled his eyes standing up and taking his mask off, walking over to me. “If I wore a shirt, you would be robbed of the second best sight known to man. The first being your face after I do this.” I was confused for a moment before he lent in, placing a kiss on my lips, before pulling away with a smirk. “See that’s the face, all shocked and confused.” He said turning back to the bed to pull the covers down. “Stop gaping like a fish and come lay down, I’m still fucking freezing and need your body heat so get over here.” He complained, laying down on his side of the bed having taken off the rest of his flashy clothes opting for a pair of sweatpants, he’s still shirtless but at least he’s under the blankets.

I rolled my eyes moving to kick off my boots while hanging up my coat. Crawling under the covers I was met with very little warmth as Zora’s ice cube off a body sapped all the heat from the bed. “Holy fuck Zora you’re so fuckling cold.” I said moving to cuddle up to him. “I wouldn’t be shocked if you get frostbite or something, damn.” He just chuckled but pulled me closer, sighing at the fact that I was at least a little bit warmer than he was. “Next time we go out in the cold, will you at least wear a coat, it doesn't have to be zipped just enough to keep your arms warmer.” I tried to bargain with him.

He paused before responding. “Fine, but I better get cuddles anyway.” I just nodded, now focused on warming him up while also trying not to fall asleep. “Go ahead and sleep. I'll be fine with you snuggled up to me being a space heater.” He said, rubbing my head. Letting out a yawn, I mumbled a quick I love you before falling asleep. The last thing I heard was Zora’s quiet response. “I love you, too, today was fun even if it was freezing.” He quickly followed suit in sleeping.

The next day when we woke up it became apparent that Zora was right about getting sick staying in the cold. But finally the jokes on him, cause he’s the one to wake up the sniffles and a slight fever. His pouting and grumbling could be heard throughout the hideout as he complained about it the rest of the day.

Episode 47 S5: Mana Runs too Slow and it Kills 2 People

Tumblr decided to change the way it does image posts so this is going to be my hell. I can only have max 30 "blocks" of images (yikes) and uploading all your images at once and then just adding text in between is actually not possible! (least it's a nightmare on browser. I have not figured out how to drag my text in between images, so I'm just uploading every image one by one and hoping I don't forget one)

Peeking up at us over the horizon, our end of the world apocalypse has reached the next step of his rampage: which is to shoot glowing missiles out of it's Dragon crotch until Egypt is destroyed.

Seto is doing his best to look productive, but unfortunately this is Sad Seto, who is still buffering.

Just uh...give him a minute. He has to remember how to be Seto.

I'm pretty sure Kissara told him straight up to call her whenever, and considering how few words they've ever said to each other, you'd think he'd remember the words she said like half an hour ago. Then again, he was kind of...sleeping when that happened. Or hallucinating, or dreaming, or all three.

Bakura and Yami are watching this pan out from the Shadow Game Zone, Bakura kind of nodding slowly while Yami becomes overwhelmed with embarrassment over how much everyone around him is screwing it. This is not meant to be funny, but it was very funny to me.

I have brought this up before, but Bakura does bring up a good point, that this entire arc was kind of against the grain of who Yami became over the course of the last 4 seasons.

+++++STAND BACK I'M GONNA RANT, FEEL FREE TO SKIP++++

Don't get me wrong, Yami LOVES to make bad choices that end the world. But why would he continue to go back here and destroy the world of the future he knows and loves so much? Especially since it already went SO south with Dartz the last time he opened pandora's box?

He has a new identity now, he has so many friends, last arc was just so many women throwing themselves at Yugi. His life is really good! I think they could have developed more of a line of logic between last arc and this arc, but like with a lot of things in this arc, it was rushed.

So him giving up his newfound modern identity that he made all himself through hard work and friendship first off feels kinda bad. Like I'm OK with him being a new guy, he worked hard for that! Lets not go backward now.

And then him coming here to regain his old identity is sort of like the show knew what it must do, but the characters were like "nah." and then went and did it anyway seemingly at gunpoint.

And I kind of wish there was any contrast between who Yami's new identity is in the future and who Yami was in the past. It would be fascinating to dive into the fact he's now two people yet again, even though Yugi is no longer in that bean. but eh save it for the fanfiction, because they needed to end Yugioh in a certain number of episodes.

And that happens sometimes. Stories are character driven, and when you try and drive the characters, they become less like people and more like iconic symbols. Here's our hero. He must do this because he's the hero. That's it, that's the reason. Welcome to Shonen Jump.

Problem is, Yami isn't that meta. He's dumb though, so in a way it does make a little sense why he had to open the box. He dummy thin.

Dummy thin and still can't read.

And like in case you've jumped in here after my accidental hiatus (hello!) and not realized this, I had to binge watch the rest of the season before we cancelled our Hulu subscription. There was the option of watching it for free on the Yugioh website, but I didn't want to change my Photoshop actions.

So get ready for me to talk about how the ending of this show bothered me, for like 8 episodes. I'll try to keep it in, so we can get there when we get there.

But you can't say lines like "We were meant to be together." in the context of this arc, you can't DO that, show.

Apparently the creator of Yugioh got hospitalized while he wrote this arc, hence the dick king demon. But also it got....messy. We have like 3 seasons of development in like 8 episodes, buckle up. They did the best that they could do with the resource's given, and we'll even get to meet my favorite character a few times before it's over (the Storyboarding God that occasionally guest stars on Yugioh, love that guy)

Back on the playing field, Yami is running out of options, when Isis informs us we can just go to McDonald's and get more McGuffins.

Out of basically no where, Mana zips onto the screen because she's ready to have at least one girl's night before the end of the world. The contrasting energy from both Mana and Isis is peak goth babysitter vs the parrot that hides behind the couch and bites your feet.

Back near Pharaoh's tomb, Yugi is still dueling over a deathpit with the child who these kids think is Ryou bakura.

This is not however, Ryou Bakura. It's sideways adjacent evil Bakura.

And it didn't really matter that this plot point ever happened because it's not like Yugi, Joey, or Tea ever catch on that this isn't Ryou anyway. But at least I, the audience can feel a little bit better about the weird twist by the dub there.

Ryou is still passed out on some stone steps. He's fine.

You might be wondering "Oh so what asinine thing is Isis going to have to do to get the items back?" and uh, you're wrong actually.

Turns out we could have just picked up the items in the desert at any time but I guess we forgot. I'll blame it on Shadi.

Joey Wheeler, who can punch out probably anything but a ghost, chooses to hide behind Tea because he knows she can punch a ghost and I believe it, too.

Back on the surface, is a scene that would have been emotional if it hadn't been 3 minutes. it was NOT enough time to give a proper send off to our girl Isis here, and they tried, but if you imagine the Yakety Sax song playing under this death here, that's about the speed at which this girl biffed it.

speaking of Yakety Sax theme, this is what was happening while Mana was crying her eyes out.,

And you may ask, was it really that goofy? and yes, yes it was.

and like I get it, animation and pacing are really, really hard. Parts of me wonder if maybe on paper this seemed OK. If maybe even as a storyboard this seemed OK. But something you learn quickly when doing any sort of narrative art, is that you need like 2x as much space as you think you do. Pause is an underrated godlike skill that takes a lifetime to master.

However, it still had good stills going on, it still had some lovely direction just...I mean they dropped Isis from top to bottom of that frame so freakin fast it was like she was a dropped banana hahaha.

They still have to carry these items physically to the Pharaoh, and so becuase Mana is a slow runner, 2 people freakin died this episode distracting Zorc. Which is also the title of this episode because I want to send home howfreakin funny that is to me.

Ah, back to Episode 1.

So how breathtaking and epic is the Kaiju fight you ask? Well good thing for you, I capped it.

The look on Seto and Yami's faces about sum it up.

And as quickly as he showed up to do a few silly punches, the great Exodia was cut exactly in half. Don't ask me how the card logic works for that, I have forgotten how this game works already.

Mana finally makes it to Yami, cursed puzzle in hand, and that ends this episode.

Can you imagine adding 7 characters to a story knowing you have to kill all of them individually before the anime arc is over? Breakneck deaths going on here.

Sorry for all you people that were so deeply attached to Shimon, the guy who isn't even Grandpa, by the way. A moment of silence for all 4 of you.

And we get back this thing. This horrible thing made out of thousands of dead people's souls. The thing that trapped him for 5000 years and launched him into the future. The only thing that can save mankind.

(If I have used this Mokuba joke like this before forgive me it was like a different lifetime before I caught covid, and I will not be able to regain those memories because I cannot curse myself with a rude ass puzzle.)

The abusive relationship with the Millennium Puzzle is a whole anime college essay I would write if I had half a brain, but alas I have the immune system and fatigue of a sickly gerbil or a goldfish that feels a little bit chilly. So I will not be writing that in depth episode but like...

Think about how far we've come with this jackass puzzle. And yet, I'm supposed to forgive it? Nah I don't think I have yet. Go to hell, puzzle.

This puzzle can go straight to hell.

Fragilshipping

The entire relationship of these two is built upon Ryou being a ghost fucker. If we think about this with logic, that would be the main reason Ryou would want to be with Yami.

But that's a mild problem in comparison to Ryou continuing to wear the millennium ring even after every one tells him not to. This boy has no self preservation and clearly doesn't care enough about his friends to not put them all in danger every second he wears that thing!

To make that situation worse, Ryou helps Yami Bakura make the Dark RPG and essentially almost ends the world just because.

He completely goes against what Yami needs, he goes against Yami's right to die just because.

And it's not just Ryou that's problematic, Yami is just as bad if not worse.

He actively tortured people, killed a few, and put his friends in danger so many times it sometimes gets hard to tell if he actually likes them or not.

And I'm gonna be real here, he should have just taken the ring from Ryou. That would have solved a lot of his problems and a lot of Ryou's problems.

More signs of Yami being a bad partner are when he hesitated on attacking Ryou with Slifer when the simple solution was to just get Ryou to surrender, and the fact that he can just ignore the poor kid vanishing for days on end and not show any care for him.

This is not a relationship that could ever last, especially when Yami is over 3000 and Ryou is only 16. That age gap is icky.

Prideshipping

I'll only be talking about the simple stuff because there is just way too much to unpack with this ship.

Kaiba stole Grandpa's Blue Eyes White Dragon card a total of twice, ripped it the second time, made Yugi and the gang along with a random filthy frank baby go through multiple death games, threatened to kill himself, turned punishment games into a reality, tries to humiliate Yami's friend Joey at every chance he gets and just doesn't stop the constant harassment of wanting to just beat Yami in a duel. Even when the guy dies.

And Yami... Oh boy Yami. This guy makes Kaiba experience Death possibly multiple times, gets shocked he goes insane, is upset he doesn't want to be friends after the darkness in his heart is destroyed, doesn't know how to not try and be friends with someone uninterested, barely cared when he was turned into a card, and just would not listen when Kaiba said the reason he was on the island was for Mokuba and he would do whatever it took to get him back. Yami almost actually killed him during that suicide attempt, and to top it all off, he's 3000+ and Kaiba is a teenager.

Their dynamic is built upon being toxic and hating each other. There's the bare minimum of respect, and most of the time they can barely acknowledge it. These two are a toxic pair that needs more than just a simple run through to say how bad they are for each other.

Milestones: Jack

Asking him out:

This one already is a hassle because that man refuses to believe that anyone could even want to seriously think about dating him. And you´ve had a crush on him for ages now and you know he likes you too (you overheard him and Yami talk about you one day) so you decide to finally shoot your shot. Jack really needs a good minute to comprehend what you just said and really awkwardly agrees to go out with you while trying to hide the massive crush he has on you.

First date:

Since you´re the one to ask him out it´s also your job to plan the date. Knowing Jack you want it to be something special but not overly romantic. So you´re going to slay beasts in an enchanted forest with a nice picnic and watching the sunset afterwards. He´s always at ease while fighting plus loves showing off to you. And you cheering him on and looking so beautiful while fighting as well, it´s just perfect to him. (Your second date is him trying to cook dinner for you and miserably failing so you end up in a bar)

First kiss:

It happens at said date. Both of you have been pining for the other for way too long and the moment is just right. It´s late, almost everyone left already. You´re in a corner booth and talking about your latest missions. Jack just said something that made you laugh so hard you had to hold onto him and wipe the tears from your eyes. And it´s this moment his heart jumps out of his chest as he´s just watching you, so adoringly, a soft smile on his lips. He´s the one to make the first move when you´re finished laughing and tells you afterwards that it´s his favorite sound.

First one saying I love you:

It´s him. You just returned from one of those missions where you didn´t know whether or not you would make it, completely exhausted and just crashing into bed at home. Yami runs it by Jack cause he´s worried too and Jack just completely blanks. His heart breaks in this instance and he can´t even describe the fear in his heart, just thinking about the possibility of loosing you. You´re still tired when he arrives at your doorstep but already took a shower and looked after your wounds. Not enough for Jack´s liking because he rebandages and cleans them again. He cooks for you and you both cuddle wordlessly for a while. It´s not Jack´s place to tell you to be careful because both of you know it could´ve as well been him. He´s trying his hardest to choke back his tears, tears of utter relief to have you in his arms. But eventually he cracks and just repeats those three little words over and over again.

Sharing a bed:

It happens the same night. He doesn´t want to leave you alone, actually he fucking refuses to. At this point you two can´t even decide who´s more emotional but it´s a tie. And honestly, you don´t want to be alone either. So both of you get ready to bed, Jack helps you with everything even though he doesn´t need to but you still appreciate it. He wraps his arms around you and cuddles you until you both fall asleep and it´s the best sleep you´ve got in a while.

Moving in:

Honestly it just happened. It was a gradual process none of you questioned or even talked about. His things would just start appearing at your place and over time he settled in completely. To be fair his place was quite shit so it was out of question that when you would move in it would be your place. You also didn´t want to search for a new one since it was just a hellish process.

Being intimate:

Jack always has been known to ignore personal space anyway so you´ve always been close in that way. He´s just very surprised when you get handsy as well, when it´s suddenly you who grabs him by the waist when maneuvering through the crowds or when you´re touching his chest or shoulder when he´s telling something funny... so yeah, with you it kind of always was there from the beginning but your bond keeps deepening and every single touch is meaningful.

Sharing everything:

Secrets were never a big thing with the two of you. Jack has always felt safe with you, from the first date onwards. He also hates hiding things from the one he loves so he always tells you everything. However he isn´t insensitive and he does need time to fully open up. Both of you always say whenever you want to share something and then it doesn´t lose its meaning. It´s so important to Jack that you feel validated and loved, just like you make him feel.

Loosening up:

This never has been a topic for you guys. Jack cracked jokes from the minute he saw you and you played along right away. This is one of the major reasons he fell for you in the first place. Still, in your relationship there are a few moments in which you both feel your bond deepen. On occasion you will tell each other little silly things from your past and your worries and such.

Proposal:

He never thought you wanted to tie the knot since you were already together for so long now, he didn´t really see the point. Which is why the proposal didn´t come from him. He didn´t refuse to propose because he didn´t want to spend his life with you, he´s just stupid and didn´t think about it. However your proposal is very sweet and romantic, it actually touches him to tears. He understands why marriage is so important to some people now, it might just be symbolism but in the end the rings on your fingers will show everyone you´re happily taken. It fills him with an immense sense of pride.

Marriage:

You wanted your ceremony to be small and quiet but of course that didn´t happen. Because you have friends in high places basically the whole kingdom gets involved. It´s a huge feast and party, it goes on for a whole weekend. You told everyone not to get you any gifts but by the end of it your house is completely filled to the brim. Nevertheless you have a great time.

1.) Agreed. Not only is Deathshipping my favorite, Ryo (@starlitmemoriam) and Mariku are just getting along so well, it was almost shocking... like we cluldn't bend them in any direction.

The magnetism was beyond creepy and exciting.

2.) Eli's Atem (@ofthepuzzle) is definitely great shipping material. We resonate super well about a lot of things and apparently, whenever they come together our muses just so happen to be risktakers for the highest benefit.

I have done Clashshipping in the past but it never felt this natural to me 😌

3.) You and meboth, Anon. @darknesskng and I had a few IM interactions and we exchanged a bit of writing. I don't know them well, yet, but they have a nice spice in their portrayal. Probably oneof the muses around that could become really dangerous for shadow boi.

He'd have to feel out the waters first, before getting into any kind of relationship, since he has dealt with enough toxic and suppressing situations in his life.

4.) I swear Ra's Marik (@iilahalzili) is such a different brand, I'm very happy they portray him so extremely versatile and differently. In all honesty, I could maybe see them circling each other, but I don't know if it would lead to anything.

Sure ! :)) . Even though Idk if they would have time for that.

BC Captains at the Beach ⛱

• The hardest ones to convince were Fuegoleon, Nozel and William

• Nozel at first just wanted to spend his day chilling under an umbrella, reading a book and minding his own business. But it OBVIOUSLY wasn't possible

• Yami, Jack, Dorothy and Rill (especially RILL) would end up burying him under the sand while playing volleyball

• It all started with Yami and Jack arguing (obviously over the dumbest shit)

• Yami chose Rill as his partner (by threatening him btw) and Jack chose Dorothy (she volunteered). It was a tie match, fortunately.

• Fuegoleon is a fire user, he should be able to spend the day under the sun without fearing a sunstroke, but it ain't the case. He is a redhead and like most of redheads sunrays aren't his bestfriends

• He also wants to swim but it's a bit difficult with a fire arm (thanks Patri !)

• So he just sits there •_•

• Kaiser preferred to stay at home with his wife :3

• Charlotte put on the best swimsuit she has just to end up hiding behind a palm tree but she overhears Yami saying that he's thirsty. "I have seize my chance to show him my swimsuit and be enterprising !", she thought.

• She fails. And ends up buying anything Yami mentions.

• Our clueless favorite bastard ended up taking advantage of it.

• She is getting hitted on left and right but is too busy getting nosebleed because of Yami's pecs (who wouldn't? ) to notice

• Nozel just brutally rejects whoever tries to talk to him. Like :

- Hi !

- Not interested.

• Fuegoleon on the other hand tries politely decline (he a cinnamon roll and doesn't want to hurt feelings :3) but it doesn't work so he is surrounded by people endlessly flirting with him

• Since their volleyball match ended without a winner, Yami and Jack organized a cooking contest (yeah just like at the festival)

• Yami won and kept annoying Jack for at least one week after that

• Dorothy also gets hitted on and brutally rejects people but, unlike Nozel, she doesn't do it on purpose

• Poor Rill kept proposing activities so they could spend some 💫QUALITY TIME💫 together but everyone except Dorothy and Fuego kept ignoring him

I wanted to do something longer but I just can't properly express my other ideas in English so we gonna stop there 🤷🏾‍♀️

Black Clover chapter 338 reaction and spoilers

I like that they’ve changes Hi no Kuni from Sun Kingdom to Land of the Sun, which helps set its political system apart from the Shuffle Kingdoms.

Ichika says, “Is this what happens when I let you [Asta] talk?” so I’m curious if she’s part of why they’re conversing so easily or if everyone just happened to learn Clover’s language since Ryuuya knew Asta would show up. I mean the sentence could be interpreted as Ichika just is letting Asta run his mouth in general. Could also be some kind of universal translator system and what the Land of the Sun team is hearing isn’t keigo so it’s ticking Ichika off. Not that I need them to tell me how everyone’s talking so easily to each other. I can totally chalk this up as the equivalent of Stargate SG-1 going “Yeah we don’t have time for linguistics like in the 1994 movie.”

It seems that everyone is understandable to Asta so I’m again curious if it’s some kind of universal translation spell or again, SG-1 reasoning.

I looked up yoryoku on Jisho and it says that it’s written as 余力 and means “remaining strength; surplus energy; reserve power.” It can also mean “money to spare,” which kind of amused me in terms of a magic context. I like that instead of grimoire people use scrolls because it underscores that you need a conduit to really utilize mana.

Bad News Badgers sounds like something out of Eyeshield 21 loooool

Ryuuya says that he has no yoryoku, which is interesting because it makes him the same as Asta. Reminds me of my brother’s theory that Yami got split in two and left the part of him that’s Ryuuya behind. Would also believe that Ryuuya came into the world much like Asta, whom I’m pretty sure got his soul pulled from the underworld possibly given that Licita’s magic didn’t kill him. Should be interesting to see if we learn other commonalities between Ryuuya and Asta.

Love that Ichika is Yami’s sister and FINALLY my theory Sukehiro is Yami’s first name has been confirmed. Though that was a very easy theory. I bet it was miscommunication in the early days with Julius and Yami just went with it. It’s going to be interesting to see if Ichika eventually gets used to Asta, though I can totally understand why his casual and earnest personality is too much. Also intrigued by the promise of the Ryuuzen Seven. I wonder if we’ll see more Black Bulls’ faces reused like we’re in Oz. Pumped for the next chapter.

I dunno why but I didn’t really expect Yuno to turn up so soon. News about the wizard king being an enemy traveled around the kingdom pretty quickly so perhaps he heard what happened to Asta amongst all the chatter since he looks like a perfect blend of being shocked and pissed off. It still couldn’t have been too long since Kaiser (who also finally decides to shows up) mentions later that they still have seven days til judgement day.

Whether or not Yuno knew of the Asta situation prior to arriving or just by hearing the girl’s report, doesn’t matter really, I just love how everyone looks totally defeated by Asta’s disappearance. Heartbroken, scared, angry, all that good stuff. Exactly what I wanted to see. Not saying that to be rude of course, but because it shows just how important our boy was to not only his closest friends but even the captains.

Then we got Rill making jokes, which is typical of him really. He’s a cheerful guy and has a habit of trying to lighten the mood during the captain’s meetings we’ve seen in the past, it just wasn’t the right way to do so. He’s clearly terrified though about what happened. Even our royals are stressing. Fuegoleon I expected since he was always on good terms with Asta, but even Nozel? The same man who could care less the first time Asta was abducted by the Eye of the Midnight Sun? Ahh what a lovely development, though of course he could just be more concerned about the greater issue which is Lucius and the oncoming judgement day itself, but I’m gonna believe he at least acknowledges how vital Asta can be when dealing with devils. He cares even a tiny bit. They all do.

But no one seems more angry than Yami. Dude is fuming (and has gone through several cigarettes since last chapter, maybe a pack or two judging by the ashtray full of them in a different panel later). Unlike Yuno, I’m not at all surprised that Nacht shows up now. I was anticipating it honestly, but the fact he appears on Yami’s command as if he knew Nacht was listening in the whole time (most likely sensed his ki) is just perfect. And look at him with his new cape with the Bulls logo on it, aw. Instead of coming with answers like I was hoping for however, we’re told some nice info about his shadow magic’s capabilities instead and the unfortunate possibilities regarding Asta’s life. (I can’t get over Noelle’s expression..poor girl).

Jack brings up a nice parallel though with the elves, though much unlike William’s situation where he was aware of Party living within him, I doubt Julius had any idea about Lucius up until the very last moment before the latter took over in ch331. Suspicions maybe, at the very least, but a clear surprise and the takeover/soul swap/whatever you wanna call it wasn’t exactly agreed upon.

With all the troublesome news, I also forgot about how upset/frustrated Yuno might be feeling after learning about what happened to sister Lily as well. To worry about Lucius, all the devils, judgement day, Asta and the woman who practically helped raised him? Oh boy. He’s gonna need a vacation after all this.

I love how him & Asta’s rivalry stays so balanced with which each of them saying they’re always trying to catch up to the other because it truly does seem that way without them just being too modest. Yuno was always ahead of Asta in terms of magic power and squad rank while Asta acquires strength and willpower at the right moments, as Yuno remembers the battles Asta always surpassed his expectations.

Not to say Yuno isn’t strong because duh, of course he is. He’s been one-shotting powerful devils with no issue apparently.. so, good for him!

Other stuff happens with Lucius and him & Yuno declaring to defeat each other, but whatever. That’s all fine and well and to be expected. What worries me most is our boy Asta! Yes okay, he’s still in one piece and most likely alive, that’s wonderful and what I was hoping for. But I am certainly not fond of the tpn deja vu I’m getting right now from these last couple panels!

It’s never good when the protag is away from their family! But this stranger’s hairstyle reminds me way too much of Yami, so if it’s perhaps a relative of him then I guess it’s safe to assume that Asta washed up on Yami’s homeland right? The fancy tree, the glaring sun and this person’s clothes adds up to it too as it’s based on Japan.

Also “Oh, there you are,” isn’t something I’d say to someone I just met or found out about for the first time, so I wonder if this person, whoever the hell it is, knows Asta somehow. Regardless, I hope you at least have your memories boy!

Basil using his sewing and fabric knowledge to show Rosie how farbic would look draped over something, so she can make her sculpture as accurate as possible??? so cute!! Or them going on inspiration dates??? wahhh,,, art duo,,,

Basil also has an official theatre counterpart who's a supernatural gardener. He's an immortal doll created by the Beldam and he just takes care of exotic flowers on the surface,,, and I could imagine Fear seeing him take care of the flowers from the window <333

As for AUs... I think flower shop AU would be a fun one because they're both just a little bit associated with flowers/ih but how fun would it be if Basil owned a flower shop,,, and Rosie owned a store next to his,,, I think a detective au with these two would also work so well. Imagine them being partners in the business, and fighting together,,, solving mysteries together,,, imagine Basil got his signature scars taking a hit for Rosie AHHHHHH (I say signature as if every version of basil has them when it's really just the IDV version lol) also imagine them doing good cop bad cop but Rosie's getting WAYYY too into being bad cop. She'd be an adorable bad cop. Hedgehogify the suspects/j

Or an artist muse au, where Angel's a part of a rich or well-known family and he has Yami as a muse??? Using him as a model for his ideas, getting his input on ideas, just things like that,,, and him slowing falling in love with everything about Yami because he just,,, heheheh

Also just thought about this, but what if. TWST AU, or something similar where all the IDV ocs are sorted into 1 of 7 dorms based off some type of criteria. Yes there would be what is essentially an overblot but that's the fun part. Imagine the chaos of essentially a bunch of adults with the impulse control of 12-year-olds just slinging magic around without much of a care.

He won’t actually fight you, because he doesn’t want to have an unfair advantage, and he doesn’t want you to actually get hurt. So he will settle for egging you on and finishing your fights for you.

If you’re not that kind of drunk, Luck just enjoys your company no matter what. With his permanent smile on his face, he listens to your babbling, engages in your rambling. He is thoroughly entertained and he loves spending any kind of time with you, no matter how coherent (or incoherent) you are.

If you are a clingy drunk, he will literally parade you around, being just as clingy back to you. He will return most of your compliments, no matter how cheesy or strange they are. He will pepper your face in kisses, hold hands, nuzzle your neck. If you’re ticklish, he will make use of the fact that your defenses are down.

He doesn’t like you being in pain or uncomfortable, so if you get sick, he will rush to get you some water, hold back your hair (if it’s long enough to actually need any holding back).

If he needs to carry you home, he will. He’s not on Asta’s or Yami’s level of pure muscle mass, but don’t even start to doubt that he will carry you home and he will be more careful about it than the aforementioned muscleheads.

He’ll take off your shoes, and depending on where you are in the relationship he will help you get changed if it’s necessary. If you’re not quite that far in the relationship, he’ll just try and make sure you’re comfortable. He’s not gonna go over any boundaries just because you are drunk.

The next day he will feel bad for you if you are hungover, but much like Yami, he will also make fun of you a little, tell you all the things you did and said.

He will also remember some of those things, and if there are any happenings or things you said that really stand out, he will bring them up months, even years later, and will even pick you a new nickname out of the things you did and said. It’s all done with love, but it does get a little embarrassing

Fuegoleon

Out of these three, probably the least fun person to be drunk around. He has an insanely high alcohol tolerance himself, so getting drunk together is not really an option. He will remain mostly serious, as per usual, and you… well, it depends on what kind of drunk you are.

If you are an angry or emotional type of drunk, Fuegoleon will have you removed from the scene as soon as possible. He doesn’t want you attracting unnecessary trouble, he doesn’t want you to start any fights, he doesn’t want you to attract any bad attention at all. Fighting him is no use because he’s strong enough (and more sober) to restrain you.

If you are particularly emotional, he will comfort you. Just hold you close as you stain his shirt and drunkenly cry over things that would make the average five year old cry. He will make shushing noises and rub soothing circles over your back.

If you are clingy, or just not making sense, or a stereotypical rowdy-losing all inhibitions kind of drunk, he will just leave you be. As long as you’re not really bothering other people, he will put up with it. He’s not going to be happy about it, because there’s plenty of other things that he could be doing instead of looking after you, but under no circumstance will he leave you alone, no matter how much he trusts the company you’re in.

Fuegoleon will make sure to stop you before going too far, absolutely trying to avoid you getting blackout drunk. If it means he has to physically remove drinks from your hands or remove you from wherever the alcohol is, so be it.

He will make sure you’re safe and comfortable before putting you to bed, with help of some servants or not, depending on how comfortable he is helping you change at that point.

He will also make sure there’s a bucket ready in case you get sick, something against a headache waiting on the bedside table together with some water. He will make sure you drink some water before sleeping, even if you whine and don’t want to do it.

By the time you wake up the next day, mostly because of all the preventative measures he’s taken, you will probably not have that much of a hangover. No worries, you will get a headache from the lecture he is about to give you. He’s gonna give you a proper scolding that will make you think twice before you pour that drink “that is going to be the last one you promise.”

But you also know that in case that happens, he’s still going to take care of you because he loves you in all your moods and states, even the bad and the drunk ones.

Yami

Yami thinks it’s pretty funny when you’re drunk. He will never get you drunk on purpose, but when it happens, it happens, and he wouldn’t be himself if he didn’t enjoy the moment a little.

If you’re a loud drunk, he’ll just let you ramble on and on, enjoying the little nonsense stories you’re telling, himself holding a drink in hand. Preferably you’re still sitting close to him. Drunk or not, he enjoys your company.

If you’re a clingy drunk, he’ll relish in the extra affection, although he will never, ever take advantage of you. If you show signs of crossing a line in boundaries, he’ll gently distance himself from you. He’s not above literally wrapping you in a blanket in your shared bed so tightly that you cannot move, so you can’t do dumb stuff.

If you’re an angry drunk, he’s in for another show. He thinks it’s absolutely hilarious if you pick fights with people for no reason at all. He’s always right behind you, making sure things don’t escalate too far, and ready to grab you by the collar to drag you away if they do.

He tries to stop you from reaching black-out drunk status though, he needs to deal with your hangover as well, and he’d rather have the toilet available for his own business.

He will carry you home if necessary, although expect to be carried potato sack-style. He’s practical, not romantic when you’re drunk.

Yami makes sure the Bulls are a little quieter (as far as that’s possible) when you’re hungover, so you can at least sleep off the worst of it.

When you crawl into bed together after a busy night out, he absolutely loves your drunken ramblings, the incoherent sentences, and just holding you snuggly. It’s always an unexpectedly soft moment, that you don’t always remember.

The morning after he’s taking great pleasure in retelling you all the embarrassing things you did. He will definitely leave out all the stupid stuff he did himself, there is no reason at all to mention that if he can just have some fun at your expense.

Domestic Yami HCs

A few domestic headcanons for Yami in celebration of Nati’s @clovertitan birthday ^_^

Pairing: Yami Sukehiro x reader

Genre: fluff + nswf (nsfw under the cut)

I see Yami as a surprisingly organized person.

He doesn’t fill his living spaces with clutter, meaning that he has, what he needs. And everything he thus does have, has a place. That way he finds them easily as well, which makes it practical.

He’s not much of a cleaner though. He’s not troubled by a little dust here and there, or a jacket thrown on a chair at the end of a day, but I do think that he likes to keep his home tidy to keep everything from building up. Which means that trash gets taken out regularly, and what other small things he can do in 5 minutes, or while passing by, he does. This is of course a lot easier since there’s little clutter to move around.

He’s a, again, surprisingly good cook.

He had his friendly food stand cook off with Jack after all, so he does know his way around a kitchen.

His cooking isn’t fancy by any means, but simple, and yet delicious, home cooked meals. But I do think that he’d enjoy doing a little experimenting in the kitchen, since he, at the very least, wants to defeat Jack by a land slide next year.

He has a long temper, so when conflict arise between the two of you, he keeps calm and might call the fight off at a point. But he would always return to the topic after a while, once you’ve both calmed down.

He’d definitely be cracking a few jokes here and there, nothing mainstream, but something fitting for each situation. And there’d be a cheeky grin to accompany the remark.

He’d had a general laid-back feel in the house, and he wouldn’t fuss over anything. But he’d point out things if there’s a need for it, and even that he does constructively.

He doesn’t really want to raise his voice, but will do so if necessary, but it’s never to be hostile towards you or any of his near and dear. It’s more of a “I will put my foot down”. But he does listen to your opinions as well.

He doesn’t need anything lavish to be happy. Just be there for him and show him that you care, and that’ll be enough. He’s a man with simple needs.

In terms of shaking the sheets, I think that he would be very passionate in the beginning. There’d be the thrill of a newly found relationship, as in every relationship.

But the frequency of him initiating sex would diminish gradually. It’s not that he wouldn’t still find you attractive, but instead it’s about settling in to the relationship.

Which means that once it’s time to do the horizontal tango, he’s giving it his all. And the sessions would be long, and exhausting in the best possible way. He’d make you sweat and drool, make your eyes turn to the back of your head.

And this man, he may be rugged, he may be a kind of a scoundrel, but he is a gentleman as well. Meaning that he won’t leave you hanging. Because he loves and appreciates you, so when you’re in the act, you’ll have his attention.

He will not stop until his breathing is rugged and heavy, and his limbs are shaking. But you’ll be seeing stars at that point in any case, so chances are that you won’t even notice it.

And those sessions; well they’ll leave you wanting for more, but ... not too much of a good thing on one go, right? ;)

Yugioh S5 Ep 36 Part 1: Yugi and Company Finds Egypt

So because we don’t have card duels anymore, which makes these episodes Very Long to cap, and because I’ve been just real busy lately, I’m gonna do a little bit of an experiment. One that will hopefully streamline the process, and make these a bit easier of a read for y’all that maybe didn’t realize this blog is going to be the length of Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time (yes I will die (or tumblr will die) in the process of making it because they will never stop making Yugioh, and I have accepted this).

So the experiment is that I will be splitting these so it’s about 15 caps an update, which means this episode is 3 updates. This blog is mostly for me to blow off some stress energy from things outside of my control, but after all these years writing blogs and webcomics and etc, I realized.......I gotta do something about the weird ass length of updates here. If it were anything else, I would have cut it down and streamlined the process years ago, so lets just try it out and see what happens. (and am I suddenly inspired to do this right now because part 3 currently is a hot mess in my drafts folder? Yes.)

So, starting off, Mahad just hella died, and Mana isn’t taking it very well because she has not finished her Jedi training.

Also everyone else is here now, a little bit too late for the party, but at least they made it for the funeral.

And as Mana was going to dump on Yami, Isis got hella distracted and reminded everyone that Mahad is like super dead. Like beyond dead to a point where he exists as a symbol for cards. Crazy how dead Mahad is right now.

While this is happening, Yugi and friends have finally found the way “out.”

Don’t get me wrong, I do like this from an artistic standpoint, feels pretty unique to have this slice cut out of a pyramid in the sky attached to an Escher Painting. If anything, Yugioh is pretty good at showing scale, and I think that is something that anime, in general is good at doing. Very cinematic for a TV show.

Honestly, these shots make me wish that there was some sort of Nolan-esque adaptation because these have such space-bending sci fi vibes. But because of budget we didn’t quite get to Inception territory. Which is fine, I mean this was done in acrylic.

But then Shadi is like “well I clearly didn’t get the facebook invite to Yami’s party so I’ll just go home and scroll through twitter because I’m just not very social, byeee.”

Also Shadi had to leave beause it’s plot convenient but we’ll get to that in a bit because Yugi had to embrace the ledge.

It was intense how quickly Yugi vaulted off this ledge. So many ledges over 5 seasons, and he just wanted to have a taste. Finally.

Anyway, after Yami probably did a little funeral before shoving Mahad into his card obelisk, all of his cult decided to have a little bit of a chat about how the ultimate war with one single dude named Bakura is going.

Like just keep in mind that most of the city is probably going on life as normal because Bakura is just one guy. Like yeah he set part of the city on fire yesterday, but as we find out later in this episode, cities in this part of Egypt are just always on fire.

It has a very Star Wars vibe where the people in charge are having this big rebellion, and there are these big movies about it, but then you watch the side content like the Mandalorian, and no one else in solar system freakin cared that there was a change of power, it made virtually no difference to them whatsoever.

Seto reallllly wants to arrest everyone in the city, and Aknadin was like “ehhhhh” because he knows Seto only wants to do this to fill his obelisk with as many tablets as humanly possible. But then Grandpa was like “YEAHHHH” because Shimon secretly loves the military state.

If I were a band person I’d tell you what instrument every single person in Yugioh would play based on their stereotypes but I was never in it. I guess Bakura would play the...flute? I dunno. I don’t know anything about band, I play piano. What I assume is true in any school with a band in it, is that the only way to get into the one piano spot in the band, is to go up against the literal valedictorian (and then hope she gets sick or accidentally cuts off her thumb something). And listen, I may be a pianist, but I’m not that much of the pianist stereotype.

But cuz Yami doesn’t freaking know how people work because he’s a dead dude that’s been locked in a prism for an eternity, he’s like “sure lets lock everyone in the city, I love that stuff.” It did not occur to Yami that Seto is filling a vault with people’s yummy demon souls, and then in the English dub, locking those people in jail even after they were exorcised.

Yami just has a lot going on with losing Mahad after he was his friend for all of like 15 hours so he’s just not really paying attention. Especially not paying attention to the situation going down in the market district.

Falling directly from the sky, these guys realized that they have made a Scene.

In case you were wondering, no they did not draw boobs all over this season although that would have been the style of Egypt at this time period. Instead we get a basic outfit I can only describe as “bible video fashion” when it comes to the normal ass non-important townspeople of Egypt.

And fun fact I just found out from reading a Wikipedia article (so it might not be true) Ancient Egyptian kids didn’t wear any clothes at all until they were 6.

Can you imagine being naked for 6 entire years? That there was a life before modern society and needing to go to school and get an office job, you could just be completely ass naked for 6 entire years. Like maybe Mom or Dad dunk you in the Nile occasionally to wash you off, and then off you go, just a little naked bastard, right down the street, not a care in the freaking world, not even worrying about splinters because there’s not even planks of wood that exist yet. Damn.

Anyway, Joey tried to communicate with them anyway, in front of a bunch of oranges in the foreground to remind us of the tits that will never be in this shot but would have been if they were actually in ancient Egypt.

I once asked “Do these kids even think Roland is cool?" And it turns out that Joey does. Joey LOVES the nickname Roland gave him. Gonna get someone at the mall to write it on a grain of rice that he can wear on a necklace.

Which, I just realized, may not be a universal thing, and just a weird ass thing we do in California.

Anyway my Mom never let me buy one when I was 11 and I really wanted one shaped like a cool dolphin and I have never forgotten it. And sure, I could just get a rice and write my name on it and shove it into a 20 cent pendant from Micheals crafts but it’s not the same.

In a way, rice necklace is the modern cartouche.

...

...anyway, speaking of bad necklaces, our bff haunted prism that has been with us for so many season’s took a sabbatical.

This is when it finally dawns on Yugi that clearly, they were never supposed to come here and they just put themselves at ground zero with no way to interact with it.

Youknow, if they had dragged Ryou Bakura here, would he have been able to take over Bakura and be like “well that’s enough of that” then solve this entire season? We’ll never know, since I think he’s still passed out on the stairs. Or, Ryou has walked down there, seen all of his school friends dead and been like “Oi that was probably me...well, I’ll be leaving then...”

And that is why, plotwise, they couldn’t bring Shadi. Otherwise, pretty sure Shada would have just become Shadi and then...well it’s still Shadi so he probably wouldn’t have done a damn thing.
