useless piece of information: malenia always follows up with a grab after she breaks your guard with a kick. it is possible to roll out the way as your stamina regens fast enough on it's own, but i still thought it was pretty cool that she can do this

It took 3 months but I am finally finished!

#botw #the legend of zelda #breath of the wild #I knew I was up for a challenge when I started this but I feel that the challenging pieces are the ones I learn the most from #Also I wanted a botw poster for myself so I thought why not draw it myself. A little challenge ^^ #It was a ton of fun! Never experimented around with brushes a lot #Painting stone was a lot of fun because I had found a brush in a previous piece that I just vibe with immensly for stone #which is funny considering that before I found it I couldn't figure out how to draw stone for the life of me #its Kritas e)_Marker_Dry brush btw #The trees took forever. The final one is actually the second try after I had already fully painted the once #I did a bunch of experiments with all kinds of brushes before I setteled on this and it worked surprisingly well #Then I tjought I was done and realised that I forgot the tower and these things are suuuper detailed #anyway it didn't take me 3 months of work. It feels kind of magical to happen across other aspecs in the wild. Once I heard a friend of a friend talk about aesthetic attraction so I tentatively asked if she was aspec and her face lit up with a "Yes!" Another time I was chatting with someone that I'd sat next to in the first lecture of a new course and (because they were talking about queer stuff) I mentioned that I was aroace and they exclaimed "No way - me too! I've never met another one!" and we were both so excited. Even just learning through the grapevine that an acquaintance (e.g. a family friend I played with when we were kids, and a girl I was in a writing group with six years ago) is ace and/or aro makes me feel so warm and happy. It reminds me I'm not alone. It reminds me that other aspecs don't just live on the internet. They are out there in the world, living their own full and rich lives.

The novelisation of the Phantom Menace has made me so incredibly sad, where little Anakin sees an injured Tusken and decides to disobey Watto to sit by the Raider until he wakes up. Anakin has such a deep, loving heart that he was willing to suffer the consequences of disobedience to make sure a Tusken Raider would be safe, a being he was taught all his life were brutal and cruel. And in this chapter, Anakin admits that the only thing that truly scares him, is of losing his mother. That juxtaposition, that note of I will care for this creature to I fear losing my mother, put so much more weight onto AOTC, and of Anakin's rage. He broke, and he lost himself to his rage. When faced with what he did, he rages against the world and his actions, before breaking down into further sobs at the loss of his mother and the actions he made. His worst fear was realised, and he became the monster that everyone claimed the Tuskens to be.

It'll be interesting to read the AOTC novelisation, to see if this scene is ever called back to. I just find it interesting, and further showcases the depths of Anakin's feelings and compassion, as well as the pitfalls that such strong emotions come with. For if you feel compassion and love as deeply as Anakin does, so will you feel the destructive nature of all of your rage. And that, that is Anakin's biggest weakness; he feels too strongly to ever truly control it.

He didn't want to he was a Jedi but he also wanted to HURT them for taking his mom #It's COMPLICATED and that's sooo good because it's REALISTIC and PAINFUL #Anakin let his rage consume him! Making this comic has really made me realise there’s just way too many important characters in Pokemon XY

#there's already 4 rivals all introduced at the same time and who are friends but then you have lysandre sycamore sina and dexio #with 5 important villain team admins #diantha and az are kiiiinda meant to be important too but there wasn't enough room to fit them in enough #then you've also kinda got Korrina and her grandfather who explain mega evolution for you #it's amazing they were able to develop it as much as they did they tried to squeeze in so much #most if not all of the characters fall flat in the end because of it but still #because you have 3 rivals in swsh but they rarely interact with each other they're mostly rivals of you #so even though it's a high number there's still more room to develop the characters individually #it does get a bit exhausting trying to make sure all the characters get developed enough #I didn't realise how much bigger the character scale was in XY compared to all the other games #especially when I have favs I want to give way more focus than what's in the game #it's really hard to figure this out #on one hand I want to give all the characters time to shine but at the same time that's going to take a REALLY long time #would people be alright with that too #would -I- be able to go that long is a big one too!! #only time will tell #XYLiro #pokemon
