*Philip was ready to exit his little study-corner he created for himself in the basement of The Owl House. He turns off the lamp that stands on the table, leaving the open door leading out of the room as the sole source of light. It is dark now, but not that dark so Philip wouldnt be able to walk across the room, climb the stairs and exit the basement. So, the teen was going to do just that, untill-*

*The portal opening and the figure falling out of it on the floor made boy jump and let out a short "OHMYGOD-" scream. Philip crosses himself, like he always does in this hellish place when he witnesses something he doesnt like. Wittebane stares at the silhouette, lying on the floor in front of him, wide-eyed. In the lack of light it was hard for Philip to see who it was with certainty.*

*But after a few seconds of getting used to the dark teen recognises those damned blond hair. "Wait- Is it.. Caleb?" Philip felt embarrassment and anger overcoming his fear pretty fast. Teen lets out one long irritated breath and clenches his fists.*

"Caleb!! T-this shit isn't fucking funny!" - Philip said pretty loudly.

*His frown deepens as he keeps his eyes on the Caleb-looking figure. ... "It" looks like Caleb, but- the small differences, like the hair length or the choice of clothes, create that uncanny feeling that something is clearly wrong. Philip wouldn't want to ever admitt that Caleb managed to scare the crap out of him with another stupid prank, but.. what if this is a basilisk or some other demon-doppelganger thing?*
