14. What animal do they fear most? i need to know

,,,would it be cheap of me to say bees for twitch?? because twitch is absolutely terrified of bees, for very understandable reasons.

other than that i don't think they particularly fear any animal--they seem to fall directly into a zee monster's mouth once every 5-10 business days, so i can't imagine they find them particularly scary at this point. that's just a minor inconvenience

maybe some of the Fuckhuge zee monsters that would chew a ship clean in half, though. those would be semi-scary, at least!!

grace, on the other hand

every animal in the neath is scary. if it doesn't exist on the surface and it exists in the neath he does not want to go near it. everything down here is fucking terrifying.

his first experience with neathly wildlife was a lifeberg and he has still not recovered

local teenagers' vacation ruined by tropes

This one is a "trope-fic" inspired by some tags @seleneisrising (who also has a fic based on this same idea and it's amazing!) left on a post of mine--basically, it's a fic where Sabezra meets All The Tropes!

In this fic, Sabine and Ezra get sent on an undercover mission to a luxury hotel--basically a vacation--except the whole time, they're being inundated with shippy tropes and they have to deal with it. Here's a snippet!

Ezra woke up with a start as something slammed into him, instinctively scrambling away and barely stopping himself from falling off the opposite side of the bed. It took a moment to register where he was, and what he’d been attacked with. Sabine glared down at him, her pillow still in her hands like she might hit him again. Ezra yawned, rubbing his eyes and then glancing at the clock. It was barely midnight. He hadn’t even been asleep for half an hour. “What was that for?” Sabine tossed the pillow down onto the bed and climbed into the spot he left. “If you’re going to snore like a hovertrain all night long, then I’m claiming the bed as compensation. You can sleep on the couch.” “Hey, no fair!” he protested, crawling back over and trying to push her out of his spot. “Tough,” she said unsympathetically, slapping away his attempts to move her. “I’m older than you, anyway, so I call the shots.” “But I get the bed tonight!” Ezra repeated, and then resorted to drastic measures. He dropped down to lie there, too, sprawling out and crowding Sabine. “And I’m not leaving!” “Well neither am I!” Sabine snapped, shoving him. “And I’m not sharing, either!” “Of course not!” Ezra agreed angrily. “We already agreed that that would be weird!” “Yeah! Duh!” A beat of silence went by, and then Sabine continued: “So, you're just going to have to leave!” “No!”

6, 7 and 13 for the ask game?^^

What song I love my bias the most in Okay, so. Wooyoung. It's probably a bit of a obvious choice, but i'm gonna say Mist. It's just so beautiful, and when he sings it live, he looks so completely swept up and into it. Shivers every time!! Special shoutouts to "oh na na think/feel about that" (Fireworks), "body body watda gatda" (Crazy Form), and "bulleo bulleo, ulil jugeum bulleo" (Answer), which i am going to actually get tattooed on me in hangul hopefully some time soon!! Oh also!! i'm obsessed with his chorus parts in Silver Light :'))))

Why I started stanning my bias I'm of the opinion that people don't choose their biases, they choose you. At least it works that way for me. I was mostly paying attention to Yeosang and Seonghwa when I was getting to know Ateez, but it wasn't that long before I started to notice a very, very sweet, affectionate and genuine boy with the biggest, brightest smile I had ever seen :')

Have I ever met my bias or seen them live I haven't seen Ateez live, no. But I met Kiseop, who was my bias at the time, when I went to a u-kiss concert in like 2015 :)

🥊 -What do they love to do? What do they hate to do? for Sneric and Arzu!

Arzu She is very active person and fairly extroverted. When things don't go her way, she becomes quick to lash out. She loves anything that has high activity because of her tendencies to bottle her emotions and struggling to process them, it comes out as needing to maul a striking dummy or two! She hates anything that requires patience and precision. She is the type of person who wants quick results and throws a fit when things aren't working out right away. You can say, she burns bright and she burns fast :D;; slow burn? What's that? Never heard of it!

"Sneric" He is quite the opposite! Baelan enjoys peace and quiet. He loves growing plants and taking care of such. Because of his secluded life prior to the story events, his little garden was his paradise where he could talk, grow and love his plants and they'd provide him food and comfort in return. He hates having to deal with crowds. He is very good at reading people and usually knows how to push buttons but due to his snake tribe reputation he is always on the edge expecting to be assaulted or hunt down so he tends to be more timid and quiet even if he has the qualities to make an excellent manipulative villain! He is a healer type - understanding and avoiding conflict as much as he can.

okay. actual answer: OwengejuiceTV's New Life SMP videos! i understand you are not A Minecraft Youtuber Person. i know i have never previously actually directly recommended you watch any of the minecraft guys that i am watching. this one though. this one is so fucking good; I Think Everyone Should Watch It. (notes: it's nine episodes of like twenty to thirty minutes each, it's maybe some of the best storytelling in minecraft i've ever seen or at the very least it is my favourite, it does require a pretty major content warning for suicide.)

plot-wise, it's about a pilot who crash lands in... uh. colorado? (look, it's still minecraft roleplay; it's going to be a little silly.) a fictional colorado inhabited by mysterious entities known as hybrids, who have a whole host of strange powers that our pilot friend would love to learn more about. our pilot friend decides to make the best of his crash, sets up camp, and ventures out to make friends, hoping to find out along the way if he could become a hybrid himself.

what i'm pretty sure is the final episode of the series came out earlier today, which is the thing i'm so wiggly-excited about. things i'm especially happy about wrt the whole series:

the main character kind of sucks as a guy and he doesn't get better and i love this for him.

the creator, owen, is playing with existing minecraft mechanics and conventions of ~minecraft youtube videos to tell / enhance his story -- things are possible that wouldn't be possible in another medium, and there's fascinating beats that play with with the relative thinness of the line between creator and audience on youtube!

it is incredibly polished and well-edited without losing that it is minecraft roleplay and therefore inherently a little bit goofy

he gets so audibly distraught and this is maybe a selling point for me and Only Me, but i like when my favourite creators are doing roleplay and sound like they're going to cry. Full Commitment To The Bit Here.

People Keep Dying, and it raises interesting questions about Who characters are and how that sense of self is affected by the bodies they inhabit / are.

If Alpha-Nine had civilian jobs what do you think they would be?

Ooohhg, fun question!! 😁 I actually think about this a lot, although in a very unserious manner. Sorry this took a while too, I struggle with writing (like heavy on the struggle) but I tried my best to give them in-character answers. Anyways! here's what I have for you…

Buck — for Buck, there's the obvious answer of fisherman. He's had a lot of experience with fishing and seamanship in his childhood, plus he has plenty of strength and stamina now as a Spartan. I don't see him being a particularly smart man so anything that requires higher education would not be a great fit for him. He could be a nice athlete coach too. We don’t know if Buck is interested in any sport but if we’re weighing in his role as Fireteam Osiris’ advisor and mentor, it could work.

Dare — if I'm being honest, it's hard to see her outside of ONI but considering she's a Section One agent, I think she’d be a good fit for a career like archivist, data analyst, or researcher. She might also make a good detective.

Romeo — he'd for sure be a business owner of some kind. I don’t see him being anyone's employee since he can be a little abrasive with authority figures. So it goes without saying that being in a position where he has autonomy/independence is best for him – plus I think he’s smart enough. Also taking into account his previous experience as a Merchant Marine, he could become the marketing specialist behind his business.

And a silly answer I will not give context for, Bartender. (Maybe bar owner…?)

Dutch — He could continue pursuing religious studies and philosophy. We know he studied religion and philosophy prior to being drafted, and sometime before then, he was a truck driver. A religious study degree could lead him to do non-profits or social work, but there's nothing directly related to the degree that fits Dutch. It's the same story with philosophy – though it's useful for understanding things like business or economics. That being said, why not become business partners with Romeo? They were pretty attached in Helljumper (tbh that was kind of just Romeo… my poor clingy boy.) Of course, he could always go back to being a truck driver, but according to Bad Blood that wasn't very fulfilling after being an ODST.

Mickey — in my personal opinion, he could be a firefighter. It gives him the chance to help others in his community, which we know he's all for, and it's dangerous enough that I think it could work for someone like him. He could also thrive as a political activist or (less likely imo) a political leader. Regardless, I think making money wouldn't be a big concern for him as he would be way more inclined to work for non-profits than someone like Dutch.

Gretchen — unfortunately there's not a whole lot on her so anything I say would be pure headcanon. However, I don't think a desk job would make her happy. Despite her disability, Gretchen is still a dedicated and ambitious woman – I’d love to see her in the automotive mechanist/technician field or even just general maintenance and repair (again, there’s nothing to suggest she would, but there’s also nothing to suggest she wouldn’t.) On the other hand, I believe she'd be employed with Romeo and Dutch in whatever business idea they’ve cooked up. She served with them both for… however long… I like to think they became a family.

The Rookie — professional sleeper. 64k a year. I'm joking, Rooks can be whatever you want him to be :)

blue is one of my top Me Fr characters (i wouldn't say kin because i don't fully understand the meaning and don't wanna misuse it-), apparently this is most of my friends easiest ones to tell-

and yes, error is also on my Relatable Characters list! but a lot lower and lesser than blue :3 (fell is also on this list! either on the same level or a little below blue)

AND WITH THAT, my overall favourite sans is either error or blue i think!! blue is my absolute guy, i have the most headcannons and thoughts on him and talk about him a lot, but as an avid errorswap shipper and blue Just Like Me Fr'er.. i cant help but have error up there. he's silly

Damai used to dance! They picked it up for order of whispers reasons but ended up loving it! They'd like a moment to themself to be able to try to dance again

Terrible puns. Damai cannot resist puns. Even with their emotions the way they are currently, a really terrible pun will get a huffed little laugh (which is a lot for them!)

14: How do they put out a candle?

With their fingertips! They just pinch the flame out as they don't actually respond very much to pain or fire! So they think its the most convienient way of doing it

25: What subject / topic do they know a lot about that’s completely useless to the direct plot?

Frogs!! Damai knows a lot about different species of frogs and how they communicate, and can even mimic a few frog calls! They just think they're neat!

i don't think twitch would particularly like any of them. if you put an authority figure in front of them they get the sims 🧍‍♂️➖➖ icon above their head

pages' secret hoarding and intentional censorship and hiding of information would infuriate them for sure

but i think they'd hate mr.spices most of all. i haven't had the opportunity to go into it or iron out the details yet, but there's a lot of red honey stuff in their backstory >:3c

as for Grace:

currently, grace is a suck-up of a lawboy and thinks the people in power can be trusted, so he doesn't have any strong opinions on the masters other than being confused that they're giant bats and that they run london. they're probably fine!

his biggest gripe is that wines didn't pay him for the party he catered for :(

after being down for a while, though, and working with constables and the admiralty, it slowly wears off. the excess violence and force against revolutions & undeserving people would be what gets to him, so it would be fires he hates the most. (and constables reporting to fires means he'd probably have the most knowledge of him too)

if there was a mechanic that could make you more likely to fail at luck-based rolls he would have it. his lack of swag and his terrible luck aura affects you too, sorry

ummm well if it were up to me she wouldn't exist at all actually 😅 i hate the whole 'bloom's forgotten childhood friend' thing sooooo much, and it wouldn't make sense in my au anyway. a reverse mirta or earth witch would be interesting though!

i'm still not 100% sure where i'm going with earth magic in my au yet, but there are definitely going to be students who ditch fairying in favor of witchcraft! i imagine it's a pretty stigmatized switch, though. it would probably be viewed as throwing away your birthright

“can you carry my care, dear?” cos sometimes when i start fics with bad mood vibes then it ends on a sour note, but i like how this one had a positive ending where everything turned out to be more than okay. also not to sound like i live under a rock but asexuality was a pretty new concept to me at the time so (at the risk of sounding cocky) i think i did a pretty good job putting the feeling into words
