Can clowns have rabies and if so can you treat them??
HELLO!
If you are asking because you have a rabid clown on your hands, then I sorrowfully console you on your immediate death after typing out such a question. May the clown gods honk kindly upon your soul.
If not, and this question is purely for curiosity’s sake, then congratulations on being alive! May the clown gods look upon you with kindness and mirth.
While clowns can become “rabid” in the colloquial sense, it is not caused by the infection of rabies. Since we do not have organs in the traditional sense, it is difficult for us to catch the disease, or any disease for that matter.
Clowns instead can become incensed by many other factors such as a bull clown encroaching on their territory, a neighborhood dog or other hostile animal, or the inaudible screams of a mime eating away at their subconscious. You may notice their nose swelling as they grow more and more agitated, filling with poison before it spits.
At this point it’s usually best to sedate them and take them to a quiet location away from the source of stress. These so-called “rabid” clowns then gradually calm down over the course of a few days with gentle care, reassurance, and plenty of candyfloss.
