Something I love about the portrayal of Villanelle is that she's (as said so in the show) an extremely fit , strong , beautiful woman . But you know what we never see on her ? No 6 pack , no stupidly ripped body, nothing that's false advertising on what has to be fit.

We see here that we have the beloved Jodie comer and yes she is in great shape and beautiful in every way , there simply is no sign of this false societys idea of what a ' fit ' person should look like. She has some muscle on the arms and has toned features but her stomach isnt completely flat with muscle showing through, she doesn't have a crazy tiny waist , she does have some skin fold over her trousers , her body isnt pushed over the top. And I love it because too often we are forced to see these people who have this ' perfect fit ' body in film and tv but it's not actually at all. Villanelle is the perfect example of someone who's this beautiful in great shape assassin but isn't shown to conform to society's belief of what a fit body should be.

This is what we should be doing more often with our leads , stop giving characters a false idea of what an in shape body has to be. Even if I love these characters if we think to stuff like tomb raider , any marvel show , star wars ect it's all the same. And although if you do have this body that's awesome , but it's not the only show of a fit body. I'm glad Villanelle breaks this idea.

Basically thank you for letting Villanelle be an icon and not using her to spread a bad message on what bodies should or shouldn't be
