if I had a nickel for every time a Marvel character named Peter had a girlfriend that didn’t remember their relationship decided to let go and move on without each other, I’d have two nickels.
Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice right?
peter was minding his own business. Sitting at a park, trying to get some air outside the mask. he was just minding his business, when a very familiar face approaches him, holding out a piece of paper…
“Here. I like to draw people in crisis, and I thought you might want it.”
And he did want it. the piece of her, the beautiful art, the conversation that happened after. He did want it. and he wanted the chance to scrawl his number on a corner of the paper, tear it off, and hand it to her.
“most people don’t start tearing it up until AFTER i’ve left.” she deadpans. but she pockets the number, and peter gets a text from a very familiar number later that day.
nothing screams peter parker more than the scene where he is covered in bruises, cuts, open wounds and the whites of his eyes are bright red, but he cups MJ's cheeks and makes a massive deal about the cut on her forehead.
