currently working on a good xeno inkfish design... it's In Progress for sure

#ive just been gradually making their legs shorter and shorter and shorter. i dont like the idea of them wobbling around on long legs #not safe! they will flop over and fall #btw. they have no organs in their entire torso and such. it's just pure tentacular muscle #they dont have suction cups on their hands or feet tentacles anymore... they turned into rubbery toebeans #not safe to have suction cups suctioning everything on land </3 #they dont have thumbs btw bc theyre so wiggly that they can just use any finger like a thumb #inklings are small and scrawny but thats bc you rarely see one in a group of less than 10 #octolings are big and beefy and smart but you dont really see them in big groups of their own volition. if theyre just hanging out then #they max out at 4. however when theyre trying to do something they can tolerate whatever #xeno inkfish #boiledegg art #splatoon #i guess. #boiledegg xeno

a thought I woke up with after 3 hours of sleep

I can’t stop thinking about finger wiggles and how much they would get to Dream

the minute dream sees wiggly fingers heading in his direction he would automatically burst into giggles, whether the person was doing it threateningly or not. once they caught on though, it would very quickly turn intentional 🥰

skip forward to the ler straddling dreams waist, just wiggling their fingers above him tummy and making dream watch, teasing him about how hard he’d be laughing and how red his face would be. (and also how his hands are 100% free, yet he hasn’t tried to stop the tkly fingers yet. (“why’s that, hm?”)
