you're so right, like i love misha but he is also literally Just Some Guy and ppl do forget that
yeah!! and that’s not a bad thing, like we’re all Just Some Guy (gender neutral) trying to do our best.
but people tend to get like........genuinely hurt and betrayed (and then pour that all onto him on twitter) whenever he messes up his phrasing, or isn’t perfect, in a way they don’t with a lot of other actors who haven’t been idealized to this God status, he-will-never-hurt-me level. he’s a good one, but he’s just a guy

they all seem to be sick and tired of the show and I totally get it, I'd be burnt out by now too but it's not fair to the fans that mish advertises his projects by suggesting something show related and then not doing it. I don't mind if he doesn't touch the subject, they really deserve rest. But I feel used as a fan.
I'd have supported his work either way but I don't like false advertising. If you're gonna talk politics, say you're gonna talk politics not "donate and ask about acting choices!"
so fans are kind of disappointed and I think it's kind of an aftertaste of that Stacey abrams panel.
Hi anon, I totally get it trust me I reallyreally do,
All of your feelings are 10000% valid, I am also still extremely angry and hurt about the finale, and really the entire situation as a whole and honestly I don’t think I’ll ever get over it. But I think we have every single right to be furious, and we have every right to want answers, and we shouldn't just get over it because it’s pretty clear that something went wrong. But you're right all of it is definitely exhausting. The podcast was definitely a disappointment for a lot of people today too, which again everyone has every right to be disappointed. I honestly didn't expect much (but there's still a slim chance with the Q&A that's allegedly dropping later this week), and it's all so messy with the the clear secrecy coming from TPTB. It's extremely frustrating, it's all hush hush and crazy. But remember it's important to take a step back from all of this sometimes and focus on how your feeling. All of this is so overwhelming and exhausting, there's been so much information to process since November 5th and honestly a majority of it doesn't make sense and it can drive you crazy (literally made me insane). So it's important to focus on your own mental health first!
As for the Stacey Abrams Fair Fight event, I have a lot of spec about what went down. First I think Misha had every intention to have fan questions be answered, but the event itself ended up being a complete mess. There were a TON of cast members who were excited to be there and everyone was just yelling out and talking to each other, so it became chaos (fun chaos but chaos nonetheless) that couldn't be reigned in, and they just ran out of time. There was also clearly an issue with calculating the winners of the zoom class, so there must have been an issue with the server and I don't think they were expecting the event to be as big as it was(a LOT of fans attended. I also think maybe some plans were changed with Kripke and Singer attending(this is purely spec, I have no idea if they were originally attending). And at the end of the day it was a political event to boost awareness of the Georgia runoffs and Fair Fight in general. So I wouldn't necessarily that Misha was, "false advertising" with that one (but I do get where you're coming from). But even if he didn't plan om acrually doing the fan questions, it was an event with a political figure to boost awareness about an extremely important political cause. Misha usually the "spn card" and the power of his spn fanbase for charity events that go towards amazing causes...is the best thing he could possibly do with it.
Also disclaimer: not to be parasocial, but when it comes to Misha I do usually give him the benefit of the doubt (and maybe im an idiot for doing so). Because Misha actually cares about Cas, he cares about the fans, and he hasn't really done anything to prove otherwise. Misha has gone above and beyond to interact with fans over the years(to the point where I think he's crazy for doing so, its not normal lol), and he's usually on our side. So I personally think he wants to talk about everything, because of course he does. Cas is his character, he's fought for Cas and he's been treated like shit bc of it, he wrote that entire essay about Cas being gay, and he was clearly ready to talk about it. And it's still pretty clear that TPTB aren't letting Misha or anyone(unless your J*red and still work for the network) talk about the finale. And yeah it's fucking infuriating and exhausting because it's blatantly being avoided, when everyone involved knows it was wrong. I really do hope one day we will have some answers, doubtful, but honestly we have no idea we'll just have to wait and see
This turned out so long, I'm so sorry anon😂 Have a great day/night wherever you are in the world💛
