I would rather be at home with my babies. 3. If your ex suddenly kissed you right now, what would you do? He’s in prison and I’m married and uninterested... SOOOO I would probably slap him. 4. 5. What are your parents views on your relationships? I don’t really know what my dad thinks. My mom goes back and forth. She loves Jacob and knows I love him, but hates the way he treats me a majority of the time.

I am currently getting my master’s degree in marriage and family therapy. Have no plans to go beyond that.

It would completely shock me if my mom did, although our relationship wouldn’t change. If Jacob did, I would probably be devastated since we’ve been together so long and have two kids... I wouldn’t care much if Kay did.

It’s fine if you’re both of age and it’s consensual. I don’t have much of a sex drive these days, which upsets Jacob sometimes. But I’m just so tired. All the time.

~my parents supported both in the beginning. i honestly didn’t open up to them a lot about my first boyfriend so i never truly told them about how bad our breakup was. however, my second boyfriend was different because our dads were best friends in high school. he was really close to my dad so my dad supported it and that made me happy. but since we aren’t together anymore it’s really hard for my dad to even mention him anymore.

20 Fun, Free Things to Do in Orlando (Because Disney Gets Expensive)

When you think of Orlando, you might think Disney.

That’s fair. Heck, I’m a native Floridian, and I thought that most of my life — until I actually moved to Orlando.

Sure, Disney is great and all, but the truth is The City Beautiful has a lot to offer outside the parks. And what’s better? There are plenty of free things to do here — things that don’t cost you hundreds of dollars just to gain entry…

20 Fun Things to Do in Orlando for Free

Whether you live here in Orlando or are planning your next trip, here are 20 free things to do.

1. Winter Park Farmers’ Market

Explore the local vendors at the Winter Park Farmers’ Market, hosted at the old train depot each Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Note: The market is closed on every third Saturday in March due to the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival, one of the oldest and largest outdoor art festivals in the country. It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re in town — and it’s free.

Afterwards, explore Park Avenue, which is laced with shops, restaurants, museums and theaters.

2. Lake Eola

Butting up to the heart of downtown Orlando, Lake Eola offers Insta-worthy views, a .9-mile walking sidewalk and some very large swans. (Really, they’re huge.) If you’re there on a Sunday, stop by the market.

Throughout the year, there are tons of free activities (like movie showings), so bookmark this calendar.

3. Lakeridge Winery

Want a real taste of Florida? And maybe a buzz? Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards rests on a 127-acre estate in Clermont, Florida, and serves award-winning wines. A tour and a tasting are free.

4. Old Town in Kissimmee

Free to enter and peruse, Old Town is a retro landmark that offers amusement rides, souvenir shops and lots of food options.

On Friday and Saturday nights, secure a spot on the sidewalk, and watch muscle and classic cars make their way down Main Street.

5. Orlando Brewing

Embark on a free tour of Orlando Brewing, Monday through Saturday at 6 p.m. Once you appreciate where the beer comes from, start sippin’.

If you want to do a beer tasting, check Groupon. You can usually find 50%-off deals for parties of two.

6. Big Tree Park

This park was once famous for The Senator, a 3,500-year-old bald cypress tree that burned down in 2012 due to a drug-fueled incident. (Long story.)

Although The Senator no longer remains (RIP), you’ll still find its memorial, as well as its 2,000-year-old sister tree, Lady Liberty.

Plus, there’s a nice trail and playground, and the shade will protect you from the Florida sun.

Formerly known as Downtown Disney, Disney Springs is a lakeside corridor of shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment.

You don’t have to spend money to enjoy the lively outdoor atmosphere. There’s also a water taxi you can take from one end to the other. Plus, parking is free, which is hard to come by in Orlando.

Bonus: You’ll find the Lego Store here, a wonderland of blocks that kids — and adults — will get lost in for hours. You don’t have to pay to play!

8. Cornell Fine Arts Museum

On the beautiful campus of Rollins College, the Cornell Fine Arts Museum holds more than 500 paintings and a whole lot of artifacts and archaeological fragments. Plan to stop by for a free 30-minute guided tour.

(Note: It’s closed on Mondays.)

9. Disney’s Boardwalk

Tucked between Epcot and Hollywood Studios, Disney Boardwalk transports you to Coney Island in the 1920s.

Relax a bit as you walk along Crescent Lake, watch the street magicians perform and take in the fragrant funnel cakes. Parking is free.

Pro tip: You can catch the Magic Kingdom’s fireworks display from here, too.

9. CityArts Factory

Tucked between Lake Eola and I-4 in a 130-year-old building, the CityArts Factory houses works from local artists, as well as international pieces — all rotated in and out each month.

Admission is free Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

10. Winter Park

Stop by the Winter Park Historical Museum (in the Winter Park Farmers Market building) to pick up a free walking tour brochure. On it, you’ll find 21 stops, including the Winter Park Railroad Station, Knowles Cottage and the Colony Theatre.

11. Celebration Town Center

This “perfect town” was designed by Disney and is lined with pastel-colored houses and white picket fences. Many people visit to take in the pleasant sights and walk around the lake.

The town’s center is host to a number of dining, entertainment and shopping options. Keep tabs on upcoming events, like exotic car shows and arts strolls.

12. Black Hammock Adventures

Black Hammock Adventures is situated on Lake Jesup, which is home to something like 9,000 gators (the largest concentration of ’em in the States). You also might spot bald eagles, wild boars, bobcats — you name it.

According to its website, you can view free gator feedings — depending on the weather. If you want to splurge, there are airboat rides, too.

13. Cocoa Beach

The closest beach to Orlando is Cocoa Beach, which is about an hour away (depending on where you’re staying).

Parking for the popular Alan Shepard Park is $15, but Lori Wilson Park, right down the road, is free.

There’s even a dog park if your furry friend wants to tag along.

14. Fort Christmas

If you decide to head to the beach, stop by Fort Christmas Historical Park on your way.

Built during the Second Seminole War, the site features a full-size replica of Fort Christmas and seven historical “Cracker-style” homes. Listen to video presentations before enjoying a picnic under one of the pavilions.

Check for free events, too, like the annual bluegrass festival in March and Cracker Christmas in December.

15. Kraft Azalea Garden

Pack a picnic and soak up the serenity this lakeside park offers. Then break out your bird-watching binoculars, and see what you can spot.

Pro Tip

The azaleas in Florida tend to bloom from late February to early April if you want a colorful show. If you miss that window, opt for one of Florida’s classic colorful sunsets instead.

16. Grand Bohemian Gallery

If you *heart* art, stop by the beautiful Grand Bohemian Gallery — even if you’re not staying at the hotel.

Parking downtown might be tricky, but use ParkMe to find your cheapest option (like the $2 City Commons Garage).

17. Tasty Tuesdays

The Milk District (named for its proximity to T.G. Lee Dairy) is known for Tasty Tuesdays, a gathering of local food trucks each Tuesday, 6:30-10 p.m. Bring the kids — or your dog — and check out the live music and neighborly festivities.

18. Universal CityWalk

After 6 p.m., park for free, and take in the big lights of Universal CityWalk, which is comparable to Vegas — without the slots.

There’s also a fountain the kids can splash in. In the summer, keep an eye out for free concerts.

19. Chip ’n Dale’s Campfire Sing-a-Long

Saddle in fireside, and join these adorable chipmunks as you roast s’mores and warm up your vocals. You can even snap a photo and snag an autograph.

To save even more money, bring your own marshmallows and sticks. The shenanigans start at 8 p.m.

20. Spook Hill

If you really want to embark on an adventure, head south a ways to Lake Wales. Around 600 N. Wales Dr., you’ll find a sign marking “The Legend of Spook Hill.”

Pull over, and read the story, then follow the directions. Apparently, if you do it right, your car will roll uphill.

The TripAdvisor reviews are mixed, so don’t go too far out of your way for this local haunt.

Bonus: Wekiva Island

Enter this environmentally friendly oasis on the Wekiva River for $2 per person. Hang out dockside, or float around while listening to live bands.

If you want to get adventurous, you can rent a kayak, canoe or paddleboard; a half-day rental costs less than $40. When you get tired, stop by the Tooting Otter for a snack and a craft beer.

Pro Tip

Get $1 off beer and wine during happy hour, which runs 5-7 p.m.

Okay, so today was all around a pretty good day. I woke up to my alarm at 8:45 and got out of bed (even though I didn’t really want to) and started getting ready for church. It was supposed to be like, ridiculously hot out today, which is kind of annoying because it was 40 like two weeks ago and now it’s 90. like, why can’t I have spring dammit?? sigh. but this meant I can wear one of my summer dresses to church for the first time this year, so that’s cool. I grabbed some snacks and headed off. the way my public transit schedule has been going lately isn’t great, because I end up just missing a train out of the station when I get off the bus and then have to wait 11 minutes for the next one, which makes me like, a minute or two late to church (which I know isn’t a big deal really but I hate being late) but like, going earlier means I get there way too early and it’s like, awkward. so I’m a tiny bit peeved about that but it’s not a big deal. Got to church, worship was great, and it was Baptism Sunday, so the message was on Acts 8, not a passage I’d particularly studied before, but it has to do with a guy from the early church named Phillip encountering the eunuch (it’s never really clear if that’s an accurate translation, but not the point) who he talks to about the church and Jesus, and the guy is really getting into it, and is basically “what’s stopping you from baptizing me right now?” and Phillip was basically like shit you right and they went to the presumably close by body of water and he baptized the guy, just off the side of the road they had encountered each other one. The message was specifically focusing on how sometimes people think they have to clean their lives up before they can get baptized, when in reality God wants you to come to Him just as you are. And of course at the end of the sermon they make the call for any person in the church wants to be baptized, they will do it right now, and they do. they always get a ton of people. my service ended up being super long because 41 freaking people were baptized, and that was just in one of three sermons. To add some context to this, the church I grew up in is easily 4 times the size of my church now, if not larger, and they do baptisms like once a month, and there’s like, 4 people on any given Baptism Sunday. And here’s where I really appreciated the sermon and my church’s way of conducting baptism, because that church that I grew up in makes this huge deal about it, before you can get baptized you have to take a 6 week course about I don’t even really remember, but I guess about baptism and its significance. And like, that requires a lot more effort, and it does kind of communicate the message that you do have to clean up your life and make things right before coming to God and that’s just....straight up unbiblical, honestly. Whereas my church says we want you to come right here, right now, and experience the holy spirit. I also appreciated a comment my pastor made about those who were baptized as babies, in general catholic and like traditions, and he said that adult baptism doesn’t do anything to cancel out that, but rather that infant baptism showed an intention for your parents to raise you to follow God, and getting baptized as an adult is the fulfillment of that intention, which is definitely the best way I’ve ever heard it described, he basically attributed the purpose behind baby dedication, which we do, not infant baptism. Adult baptism is never a you have to do this to get into heaven thing, it’s an expression of your faith and a intention to follow God. And man, standing there singing and watching person after person get baptized, I cried so many tears, because it was honestly so moving. Two of the girls who were sitting next to me went up and did it, and their friend was recording it, and I was just like, I feel so happy for them. I just love that we take a we want you to come as you are, come right now, if you’re feeling it we’re going to make it happen, and like.....I just love it all so much. I’m gonna really, really, freaking miss my church if I end up leaving Chicago. I’ve never been to a church like it before, where I felt so much like I belonged and the other members feel the same way I do about the things I consider important (let’s just say we don’t have any Trump supporting gun crazy “evangelicals”, that’s for sure), and like, I now know we have several gay couples who regularly attend and like, that just makes my heart so happy to see, to see people who have been largely rejected by the church, but yet they press on because they want to know God, and they’ve now found a place that accepts them for who they are, tells them that yes, they are made in God’s image, and anybody telling you that you were made wrongly is on the wrong side of the gospel. Well that was a tangent, but I hope you appreciate it. I ended up ducking out a few minutes early because we had huddle up for the kids ministry before the next service, and the current one was pushing an hour and a half, a solid 20 minutes over regular. So we had our huddle and got sent off, I was the only person technically signed up for the babies/walkers room, so one of my friends who’s recently taken on more of a leadership role helping coordinate things stayed with me, for good reason because things ended up being a bit hectic. At first we had 4 kids, and 3 of them were screaming their heads off, (the 4th was seriously the cutest little girl, she was all smiles the whole time even when she took a bit of a tumble I held her for like 15 seconds and she was done crying). So that was a bit much, to say the least lol. One of them is a girl who’s been coming for months and months now and has always been fine, but for some unknown reason she was shrieking her lungs out today, like that really high pitching blood curdling scream that just makes you wince, and she was not calming down, so we ended up texting her parents and they came and picked her up. I have to wonder what happened there. Some kids do just spontaneously develop anxiety issues about being left when they used to be fine, but this was such a drastic difference, it had me wondering if maybe she witnessed something potentially traumatic (I mean, traumatic from the point of view of a 1 year old) but it’s definitely not my place to be suggesting such things, I just wonder about it from a child psychology perspective. I think we ended up with 6 overall, so a pretty solid number. There was a very cute little baby, I think about 3 months or so, and like most babies at that age she mostly just ate and slept, with some minimal crying mixed in. There was a little boy I played with for a while, he was kind of jumpy and definitely could easily fall back into crying, so I had to be careful with him for a bit but then he started engaging and he was fine. Then there was that super adorable little Indian girl I was talking about last week, who is in her prime my parents cannot leave me stage, so her mom was in with her for a while, and like, every time her mom tried to edge somewhat closer to the door she would be all over her pulling her back. Her mom did end up leaving, probably with about 15 minutes left in the sermon, which of course resulted in her furiously crying, but she was definitely improved from last week as far as lulls between crying fits and seeking out comfort from us, so that is progress at least. It can be really hard with some kids, and sometimes it just takes time, but it’s so much easier to get the situated at this age rather than waiting until they’re older, because a screaming 1 year old is much easier to deal with than a screaming 3 year old, trust me. But yeah, overall not bad, there were a couple of moments that were touch and go but we made it through. Headed home after, and once I got here I jumped right into bar prep. I guess what they’re doing is having the lectures during the week and then doing review questions over the weekend, which was the majority of my work today, and then there was a essay writing workshop thing that was.....interesting, I know I need to get over my ego when it comes to writing and accept what I’m being taught, but like.....I know how to write essays lol. I can talk the structural tips and all sure, but I know how to write. so that was not my favorite thing, but we’ll see how it goes in the future. They started with a “reading comprehension” test where they had you read a passage and then fill in the blank of sentences from the passage and like, I got almost all 30 of them right lol. No surprise there tbh. At some point I decided I wanted sushi for dinner, so I ordered that and it came here surprisingly fast, the app said to expect 60 to 70 minutes, but it was here in under 30, so I was impressed with that. I finished up my work around 7, so a solid 4 hours of work, not bad. Then I transferred over to the couch and sat down to watch my great british baking show episodes intercut with the “masterclass” episodes where the hosts show their version of the challenge they just had them made, and that’s mostly what I ddi for the rest of the night, while doing some other computer things like updating the company tumblr like I do every Sunday. And yeah, I watched that until I decided it was time to go to bed, and damn it’s 2:20 already?? I’ve been writing for a long time, clearly, so I’ll end it here. Goodnight friends. Have a lovely Memorial Day tomorrow.

You’re not attracted to your girlfriend, but should you tell her about it? Here’s why your attraction faded and what to do about it.

It may sound shallow, but physical attraction is high on the priority list in most romantic relationships. So, when you’re not attracted to your girlfriend physically, but still love her and want to be in a relationship, it can be what we call a real bitch.

The results showed that women who wore makeup were generally perceived as more trustworthy, beautiful, and more likable than women who didn’t. Whatever science says the facts remain: we like to be attracted to our mates.

There’s a big difference between not being attracted to your girlfriend and actually finding her *unattractive*. When you start finding her ugly, that’s when you have a real problem. So, what do you do when you’re not attracted to your girlfriend? Here are all the tips and tricks, including whether or not you should tell your girlfriend you’re not attracted to her anymore.

Reasons why you’re not attracted to your girlfriend

Here comes the big question: Why aren’t you attracted to your girlfriend anymore? Were you ever? Once you’ve identified why and when your attraction stopped, it’ll be easier to make a plan of attack. #1 She’s gained weight. Weight gain is one of the biggest reasons why men lose attraction for their mates. If you met her at a solid size 5, and now she’s a size 15, you may find you’re not as attracted to her as you used to be.

Logically, you keep telling yourself that after 10 years and a couple of kids, of course she isn’t going to have the same body she once did. Sure, you’re no spring chicken either… but, as her dress size goes up your lust goes down. Harsh, but true.

#2 She looks dramatically different than she did when you first met. Whether it’s the stress of life or just growing up, her wild teased bleach blonde hair and smoky black eye makeup may have dulled into natural brown locks and a coat of mascara – on a good day.

Contrary to how rude it sounds when you say it out loud, you’re allowed to have a “type” of girl you’re attracted to. If you love brunettes and now she’s a redhead, odds are you’re not going to be as attracted to her as you once were.

#3 She doesn’t take care of herself anymore. When you first saw her in her PJs with her hair in a messy bun, you thought she looked adorable. Now it’s *all* you ever see. When you first met, she had all the time in the world to impress you.

#4 She hurt you. Sometimes when we’re hurt by our partners or see a personality trait we find ugly, we start to view them physically in a different light. Even if you were once lustfully attracted to your girlfriend, this ugly personality trait can suck the pretty right out of her. The more you start to resent someone’s personality, the less likely you are to be attracted to them.

#5 You were never attracted to her. There’s a chance that it’s not that you’re not attracted to your girlfriend, it’s that you *never were* to begin with. Maybe she’s perfectly cute, but not your type. Maybe you fell for her personality and didn’t care about the physical aspect of attraction. Whatever your reasoning at the time, it’s officially become a problem.

Should I tell my girlfriend I’m not attracted to her?

Is this even a real question? Here’s a tip: honesty isn’t always the best policy. Telling your girlfriend you’re not attracted to her will ruin her emotionally and physically. Imagine being in love with someone and wondering if they’re repulsed by you while you’re having sex. There are other ways to broach the subject without coming right out and saying it.

If you’re hoping that telling her you’ve lost your hard-on for her will motivate her to lose weight or change in some way, it won’t. It’ll just hurt her feelings. There is good news in all of this. One YourTango survey revealed that out of 20,000 male and female participants, 89% believed that attraction changes over time with a partner. What’s more, a whopping 90% said they believed it was possible to reignite the flame you had at first, so you can stop saying that you are not attracted to your girlfriend.

#1 Encourage exercise. If your girlfriend has gained weight and you’re not as attracted to her as you once were, try to encourage her to exercise. When you approach the subject always use the word “we” instead of “you.”

This will make it feel like a couple’s outing, instead of throwing her figure under the bus. Odds are she’s even less thrilled with her weight gain than you are, so there’s no reason to body shame. Instead, use suggestions like:

– “We” should join a gym

– “We” should go for a hike

– “We” should start eating better

– “We” should do the 100-squat challenge every other night before bed

You could even go the opposite route and ask if she’ll come support *you* in your weight loss/healthy body goals. Tell her *you* want to start eating better and working out, and ask her to take the plunge with you. You can even plan date nights around it. #3 Work on your emotional and physical relationship. You’re not attracted to your girlfriend, but that doesn’t mean you should stop shagging. For example, if there was a form of infidelity *physical cheating, porn addiction, sexting someone who isn’t your mate* in your relationship, it may have done some serious damage to your connection. This can snowball and affect your sex life, your attraction for one another, and even your ability to like the other’s personality.

It’s important to repair these wounds so that you can both move on and learn to return to the people you were when you first fell in love. Seek couple’s counselling, or do relationship trust exercises to capture the bond that you once had and rebuild trust.

Whether you live here in Orlando or are planning your next trip, here are 20 free things to do.

1. Winter Park Farmers’ Market

Explore the local vendors at the Winter Park Farmers’ Market, hosted at the old train depot each Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Afterwards, explore Park Avenue, which is laced with shops, restaurants, museums and theaters.

2. Lake Eola

Throughout the year, there are tons of free activities (like movie showings), so bookmark this calendar.

3. Lakeridge Winery

Want a real taste of Florida? And maybe a buzz? Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards rests on a 127-acre estate in Clermont, Florida, and serves award-winning wines. A tour and a tasting are free.

Keep an eye on upcoming events, too, like the free summer music series or the grape-stomping competition, which the kids will get into for free and will love.

4. Old Town in Kissimmee

Free to enter and peruse, Old Town is a retro landmark that offers amusement rides, souvenir shops and lots of food options.

On Friday and Saturday nights, secure a spot on the sidewalk, and watch muscle and classic cars make their way down Main Street.

When you think of Orlando, you might think Disney.

That’s fair. Heck, I’m a native Floridian, and I thought that most of my life — until I actually moved to Orlando.

20 Fun Things to Do in Orlando for Free

Whether you live here in Orlando or are planning your next trip, here are 20 free things to do.

1. Winter Park Farmers’ Market

Explore the local vendors at the Winter Park Farmers’ Market, hosted at the old train depot each Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Afterwards, explore Park Avenue, which is laced with shops, restaurants, museums and theaters.

2. Lake Eola

Throughout the year, there are tons of free activities (like movie showings), so bookmark this calendar.

3. Lakeridge Winery

Want a real taste of Florida? And maybe a buzz? Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards rests on a 127-acre estate in Clermont, Florida, and serves award-winning wines. A tour and a tasting are free.

Keep an eye on upcoming events, too, like the free summer music series or the grape-stomping competition, which the kids will get into for free and will love.

4. Old Town in Kissimmee

Free to enter and peruse, Old Town is a retro landmark that offers amusement rides, souvenir shops and lots of food options.

On Friday and Saturday nights, secure a spot on the sidewalk, and watch muscle and classic cars make their way down Main Street.

5. Orlando Brewing

Embark on a free tour of Orlando Brewing, Monday through Saturday at 6 p.m. Once you appreciate where the beer comes from, start sippin’.

Pro Tip

If you want to do a beer tasting, check Groupon. You can usually find 50%-off deals for parties of two.

6. Big Tree Park

This park was once famous for The Senator, a 3,500-year-old bald cypress tree that burned down in 2012 due to a drug-fueled incident. (Long story.)

Although The Senator no longer remains (RIP), you’ll still find its memorial, as well as its 2,000-year-old sister tree, Lady Liberty.

Plus, there’s a nice trail and playground, and the shade will protect you from the Florida sun.

Pro Tip

If you're planning an outdoor activity in the summer, pack plenty of sunscreen and bug spray.

7. Disney Springs

Formerly known as Downtown Disney, Disney Springs is a lakeside corridor of shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment.

You don’t have to spend money to enjoy the lively outdoor atmosphere. There’s also a water taxi you can take from one end to the other. Plus, parking is free, which is hard to come by in Orlando.

Bonus: You’ll find the Lego Store here, a wonderland of blocks that kids — and adults — will get lost in for hours. You don’t have to pay to play!

(Note: It’s closed on Mondays.)

Tucked between Epcot and Hollywood Studios, Disney Boardwalk transports you to Coney Island in the 1920s.

12. Black Hammock Adventures

According to its website, you can view free gator feedings — depending on the weather. If you want to splurge, there are airboat rides, too.

13. Cocoa Beach

The closest beach to Orlando is Cocoa Beach, which is about an hour away (depending on where you’re staying).

Parking for the popular Alan Shepard Park is $15, but Lori Wilson Park, right down the road, is free.

There’s even a dog park if your furry friend wants to tag along.

14. Fort Christmas

If you decide to head to the beach, stop by Fort Christmas Historical Park on your way.

Check for free events, too, like the annual bluegrass festival in March and Cracker Christmas in December.

15. Kraft Azalea Garden

Pack a picnic and soak up the serenity this lakeside park offers. Then break out your bird-watching binoculars, and see what you can spot.

Pro Tip

The azaleas in Florida tend to bloom from late February to early April if you want a colorful show. If you miss that window, opt for one of Florida’s classic colorful sunsets instead.
