I’ll never get over how we all thought the calamity box theme was sasha’s theme 😔 the crew duped us good

#amphibia #Sasha waybright #READ TAGS I MIGHT BE ONTO SOMETHING?? #ok but IMAGINE… fragments of heart stomper that don’t seem to piece together until heart stomper’s released and it ALL MAKES SENSE #.. that would have been so much more fulfilling to Sasha’s theme IMO #because not gonna lie.. heart stomper (while amazing) came outta left field as a character theme #it shows up in none of her previous s1 scenes and idk that disconnect is a bit of a shame musically :( #you could argue that the calamity theme was more present because it was the desire to get home that was fueling her and that meant the box #but still…. idk just having the box theme tied so closely to her when it was actlly MARCY who brought them there #BBUTBUTBUT YOU COULD ALSO ARGUE THAT SASHA BEING SO CLOSELY TIED TO THE BOX’S THEME IN S1 CORRESPONDS TO ANNE’S MINDSET THAT #THEY’RE STUCK IN AMPHIBIA /BECAUSE/ OF SASHA MAKING HER STEAL THE BOX #SO EVEN WHEN WE WERE WITH SASHA.. WE WERE SEEING AN ANNE-LENS CHARACTERISATION OF HER??? IF THAT MAKES SENSE #ALT: CREW WAS ACTUALLY DUPING US INTO BELIEVING SASHA WAS THE REASON ONLY TO SET THAT UP FOR A TWIST IN TRUE COLORS #HOLY SHITE IM HAVING A WHOLE EUREKA MOMENT IN THE TAGS DBNSBSHSB #candy laments
