Okay, so Pacific Rim is 10 years old in 2023 and I think we should get something for the tenversarie

And thinking about this action packed movie turned out to be life changing for the bitches and bros, and nonbinary hoes I think the best option is a MUSICAL

And since I know Gillermo is a kinda busy guy I'm doing the work for him:

ACT 1:

Dark stage, off voice that says the clasic "When I was a kid, whenever I'd feel small or lonely, I'd look up at the stars. Wondered if there was life up there. Turns out I was looking in the wrong direction" dialogue and BAM lights up music starts, clasic musical hiper long openening song that explains the situation for you

"Save the city" fron Hawkeye vibes u know?

And it ends with our dear brothers walking into scene, chatting and getting ready for the fight

Usual dialogue intermision before going back into singing, the end of the oppening song turns into the brothers song, Raleigh would ding an alone version at some point

Fast forward, years passes and when we see the wall there's the usual short song like the Ice workers song in Frozen, it's just a minute or less long

Raleigh goes to the Shaterdom, and well, Welcome to the Shatterdome plays, characters get intruduced

We also get a song for Mako and Raleigh bo fight (the song instrumental will play in the background each time they have a moment) and it can get a sad reprise or Mako singing it to uncocious Raleigh in the end

The gay scientist get a duo duel song of course, same traetment as Mako and Raleight, it plays when they run to each other

We get a Don't chase the rabit song too, also short and more like an intermision

Act 1 finish after the first jeager test, Act 2 starts when we get the double kaiju attack

And u know who else gets a song? THE DOG!! I'm jocking

The black market dude, who is played by Hadestown Hades, VILLIAN SONG VILLIAN SONG

Stuff happens, they jump into the breach and the MOST EMOTIONAL SONG OF THE SHOW HAPPENS: a father-kids dueto

Mako-Pentecontes and the Hanses sing a duet (double duet) saying goodbye to each other, it makes u cry u want to turn off the show

And well, happy ending Mako swims to her copilot, wakes him up with their song (Rent vibes) and we get a sad reprise of the oppening song because Pacific Rim is about war is never good and you win but you also lose and there are no winners just survivors but then the chorus break with STOP THE WAR CLOCK and everything goes back to back

Shelter from the Storm

We've lost so much since we first started Are our hearts cold or are we coldhearted? 2013: The first kaiju made landfall. San Francisco had almost been leveled by the time it ended. Sacramento and Oakland not far behind. Five days. Ten of Thousands of casualties. An interloper from who knew where. 𝙏𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙧.

Only the first of many.

In the years that followed more came. And passed on the destruction they wrought. Came a category systems. Measured like natural disasters. Even despite their alien nature. Standard weaponry quickly started to fail. Everyone new Kaiju seemed better. Stronger.

So. Humanity adapted. Built better weapons. Better machines of war. And so came, The Jaegers. Titans of steel and nuclear power. Tuned specifically to hunt them down. Every time one fell. The loss of the twins pilots was mourned. Atleast, As best as it could be in a world on the brink. The lingering anger of mourning used to make the next line more capable.

So today stands the Hong Kong Shatterdome. Much of the funding had been cut. Many of the other domes lost. So. It stands as a last bastion. A Shelter from the Storm.
