George Ervin "Sonny" Perdue III (born December 20, 1946-) is an American politician who served as the 31st United States secretary of agriculture from 2017 to 2021. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as the 81st governor of Georgia from 2003 to 2011 and as a member of the Georgia State Senate from 1991 to 2002. On March 1, 2022, the Board of Regents of University System of Georgia appointed Perdue as the system's 14th chancellor, effective April 1, 2022.

Handsome, husky vigorous and personable with a Ed Asner/Noble Willingham look to him. And what pushes him from 'attractive' to downright 'sexy' is that he wears 'fucking boots.' I know they're not called 'fucking boots' but I call them that because I'd fuck anybody while they're wearing cowboy boots. I know, I'm a whore like that. Lets see… he has been married since 1972 with four children, fourteen grandchildren and have also been foster parents for many children. On a side note, his son Dan Perdue could definitely get a taste too. He also the cousin of David 'Big Dick' Perdue. An avid sportsman, Sonny enjoys flying and, in a 2003 incident, was accused of flying a state helicopter without a license. Sounds like a bit of a bad boy. And everybody loves a bad boy.

Our first New World vulture meets a classic Gyps!

The greater yellow-headed vulture, also known as the forest vulture, lives in wet, tropical forests in South America. They locate food by sight or their unusually developed sense of smell, but rely on larger scavengers like king vultures to open tough hides of carcasses. They have a wingspan of 1.66–1.78 m (65–70 in), and a weight averaging 1.65 kg (3.6 lb) Besides being larger, they have glossier feathers and a yellower face than the lesser yellow-headed vulture.

White-rumped vultures live in most environments in South Asia, though their range has been greatly reduced in recent decades. They nest and forage in flocks. A group of 100 of these vultures can strip a 100-pound carcass bare in 3 minutes! They weigh 3.5–7.5 kg (7.7–16.5 lb), have wingspans of 1.92–2.6 m (6.3–8.5 ft). Once they were the most numerous vulture in India, and possibly the most numerous large bird of prey in the world, but since 1980, their population has tragically declined from tens of millions to a mere 6,000. They are critically endangered due to diclofenac poisoning, a widespread problem known as the Indian Vulture Crisis.

New info: Live-action ATLA will have an extra-wide 2.00:1 aspect ratio!

2.00:1 is wider than standard TV's 1.78:1 (16:9), so the world of Avatar will feel more epic, immersive, and cinematic. 😍

2.00:1 is still pretty new in the world of film; it has so far previously been used for some other big series like Netflix’s The Crown (2016-) and HBO’s House of the Dragon (2022-) (which notably switched to 2.00 from it’s predecessor series Game of Thrones’ standard 1.78).

The original animated ATLA (2005-2008) was the even older TV standard of 1.33:1 (4:3)-- that’s why you see black bars on the left and right when you watch it on a normal wide screen TV/laptop/etc., it came just as the industry was changing and was one of the very last series to miss the boat. The Legend of Korra (2012-2014) was the current standard of 1.78:1 (16:9). There is some speculation that 2.00:1 will become the new standard for not only TV but also movies, but we’re definitely not at a point like that yet, so it’s pretty nice that live-action ATLA is giving us this expanded view!

started watching the 2021 Wrong Turn reboot and my god, somehow i keep being stunned that there's like actual money and effort behind this movie and that like it's an actual movie that like released in theaters and not just like a straight-to-DVD movie you have to be okay with like the five other movies before it. it's also the first Wrong Turn movie to be in ultrawide (2.39:1) compared to everything before it that was traditional widescreen (2-6 were 1.78:1, the first movie was 1.85:1).

also, multiple people of color in the cast and the movie is at least aware that racism exists and is trying to do commentary on it and showcase how it manifests so that's going to be something. this movie better be really fucking good to require just shy of two fucking hours of my time but so far i'm really optimistic, this looks and feels and sounds like an actual movie and has like actually good writing and editing and directing so far but i am only 6 minutes in so it could go downhill but i'm genuinely optimistic from the production quality so far.

1.71: The Emptied Pit: Tiled floor, many missing. Large hole in floor where something came up from below, surrounded by loose dirt and stone. Lower level 8’ down, about 20’ in diameter. Old bones, stained shrouds, smell of decay. Empty. 1.72: The Del Marra Family Crypt 1.73: The Sunny Stage: Southern half of room 4’ higher than northern. Broad stairs down. Murals of sunny sky on southern walls; stone debris on northern floor. Empty. 1.74: The "Golden" Statue: 12’ tall statue of a crouched, chain-wrapped man in center of room. Appears gold, actually gold foil over stone. Empty. 1.75: The Dragon's Stairs 1.76: The Animal Crypt: Stone jars contain preserved remains of small birds, rodents, and monkeys. Empty. 1.77: The Desecrated Temple 1.78: The Stone Cells: Natural stone pillars form “cell bars” separating two corners from the rest of the room. Small and smaller creatures can squeeze through. Empty. 1.79: The Precarious Chamber: Obvious cracks in sloped northern wall and ceiling above it; loose stones on floor. Wall will remain stable unless tampered with; then it will collapse, blocking passage to 1.80. Empty. 1.80: The Spider Nest 1.81: The Hall of Faceless Statues 1.82: The Dead Explorers: Three bodies on the ground—two humans and a halfling—beaten to death by zombies but not yet risen themselves. All three are wearing leather armor and carrying short swords, shortbows, and basic mundane adventurer’s gear. Empty. 1.83: The Giant Bat Roost
