Well, Soft Dark Nothing is Ahsoka and Rex on the moon right after The Tribunal crashed so by default it's gotta be her (rip Jesse my beloved)

Not Bad ends up with Snips n Skyguy going to Biscuit Baron lmao
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Not yet but I live in fear every day especially since I'm dipping my toe in the Republic Commandos pond and I know the girlies are passionate
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I do and it's ridiculously graphic HAHAHA no but there's a reason I haven't posted any Rexsoka smut. Makin y'all wait for it until they COMMIT, gotta keep that tension in there somewhere uwu. But wlw, mlw, mlm, aliens and cyborgs gonna work their way in there eventually (?) I have Not Out Loud, which is an mlm fic with Boba tying up Cal and facefucking him (Kesett nation rise)
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
Go Ask Ahsoka is the Matrix crossover that I wrote for AU August which I will eventually update lmfao

Not like… technically but Erika is my beta and my bestie and she comes up with amazing ideas and lets me play with her OCs so honestly she counts (ilu)

Rexsoka 💙🧡, closely followed by Anidala (burning down the galaxy for a single person is objectively WRONG but also hot)
15. What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Well Do Not Go Gentle is a huge fucking project that I HOPE I finish one day
16. What are your writing strengths?
I think I'm pretty good at action. I enjoy it which helps lmao
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
I get really ahead of myself laying out hints and red herrings which I then forget about (Princess For A Year especially is the worst about this, I am so sorry for all of those hints about Sylen being a pretend Mandalorian I fucked up so bad with that one but I'm going to rewrite it eventually to bring back a bunch of my dropped subplots)
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I enjoy it and do so regularly. Mando'a nuhur'shya ni ru'kar'tayli. And it makes my brain work in unexpected ways, it's like a puzzle trying to figure out the wacky ass baby's-first-conlang grammar that is Karen's creation (what the fuck kind of language doesn't have a passive voice)

OKAY OKAY TECHNICALLY, TECHNICALLY????? It was the Lion King. I was in first grade and we had to write a little storybook and illustrate the pages they gave us with crayons and my story was How Simba Lost His Mane lmfaoooo

I have poured my whole heart, soul, brain, and pussy into Tivaevae pls read it it's longer than The Hobbit

First posted the original version of the this for the 2021 12 Days of Rexsoka event. Was never quite happy with the ending and I think I finally found the extra bits I needed.
Regrets and Second Chances
Rex had never wanted to part ways with Ahsoka. Given the choice he would be by her side at this very moment – and every moment after – until he took his final breath.
But she had made a compelling argument.
They were just too recognizable together.
Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex of the 501st. They had a reputation that spanned the systems.
And the Empire would be looking for them.
Faking their deaths could only last so long.
He had told himself that by parting ways, they were keeping each other safe.
She had been weary of war – the fighting, the death. Ahsoka just wanted to leave it all behind – to slip into an entirely new life. She hadn't said it, but he could tell. He couldn't really blame her.
Rex convinced himself that he had no right to argue that they stay together.
If he did, it would only be for his own selfish reasons.
So he had let her go.

Rex hadn't been done fighting yet. A part of him had to believe that the Republic could still be saved.
All their lives he and his brothers had been told they were created to fight for and protect the Republic. Instead they had been used to destroy it and enslave its citizens. He had to find a way to make that right.
He would find and free his brothers. Together they would restore the Republic. They could still fight for the Republic and create a safe galaxy again for Ahsoka and those like her.
But Rex had ignored one of the most important lessons he had learned during the years of fighting the kriffing war.
Things were always better when he and Ahsoka stayed together.
Things always went osik'la when they were apart.
And things had.
So many brothers lost!
It still made him sick when he thought about it.
It had broken him.
He had retreated to Seelos with two of the brothers he still had left and they had spent their days slinging for Joopa.
Many a night he had slipped out onto the deck of their modified AT-TE home as his vode slept. Rex would stare up at Seelos' night sky and ponder all the "What if's" . . .
What if he had refused to leave her?
What if together they could have made the difference?
What if together they could have saved his brothers?
What if he'd had the gett'se to tell her how he truly felt about her?
And the years slipped away -- more swiftly for him than most.

When the VCX auxiliary starfighter touched down outside their AT-TE, Rex wasn’t sure what to think. Seelos was not a place where one expects visitors.
He definitely was not expecting a young Mandalorian woman (in the most colorful armor he had ever seen) and a Lasat. Even more surprising were a Jedi and his young apprentice.
When this extraordinary little group had revealed they had been sent by Ahsoka herself, it wakened hopes he hadn’t let himself acknowledge for a long time.
After so many lost years, Rex was finally going to see her again.
He walked into the passage – trying to look like a confident and experienced Captain and not the nervous Shiny he felt like.
It really did feel liked butterflies flapping around madly in his stomach. He'd never understood the expression until this moment.
Hopefully none of them are Sheyash Kyrham.
Then again – if I kriff this up perhaps a touch from “The Yellow Death” would be preferable.
All thoughts of deadly Mandalorian swallowtails were swept from his mind as the tall figure with blue-striped montrals and elegantly swaying lekku came into view.
There Ahsoka Tano stood.
She was magnificent.
And he was a di'kut.
"You got old?!"
THAT'S your opening line?
Yep, send in the Sheyash Kyrham.
But Ahsoka took it stride.
She launched herself into his arms and for a split second, Rex thought he might never let her go.
He released her, but he made himself a promise. This time would be different. He wouldn't hide his feelings and he would always be there to have her back.
He'd gotten a second chance, and he wasn't going to let it slip through his fingers.

Ahh thank you so much for the tag @cacodaemonia life has been kicking me in the shins and this is just the pick me up I needed!
How many works do you have on ao3?

3. What fandoms do you write for?
Mostly Star Wars but within that I have written for The Clone Wars and the Thrawn trilogies.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Perception: My pride and joy - Commander Fox and Senator Riyo Chuchi overcome their own prejudices to bring about change in the galaxy.
Got Your Back: A fic that is actually based off one of Caco's beautiful pieces!
Bodyguard: My first ever Foxiyo fic! A story of Fox and Riyo falling in love softly while Fox serves as her bodyguard.
One Day: My most recent long fic that is rexsoka. It's a modern au that is close to my heart, but I wish that I would have spaced the last two chapters apart more bc I think ppl thought the epilogue was the last chapter lol
These Invisible Walls: I kind of forgot about this! When I wanted to write Perception, I demoed a few of the scenes that had been rolling around in my head here. Another awesome Foxiyo fic :)
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
I usually do, but as I said above I have been Going Through It so I haven't made it to many. I'm sorry if I haven't responded, but please know I love each and every one of your comments! <333
6. What is a fic that you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I think it would have to be Consequence it takes place in my Belonging verse which is a long-form series where Thrawn and Eli raise their adopted daughter. The entire series is angsty with fluffy endings, but Consequence ends with walking on egg shells. Thunhe is captured and tortured to try and get to her dads. In that time Eli blames Thrawn for her capture and their relationship takes a terrible turn.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I think all my fics for the most part, but I think Perception probably has the happiest ending because EVERYONE is happy in the end.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Thankfully, no. I have been super blessed to have an amazing community of friends. <3
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I do! Though I'm not sure how to describe it other than fluffy smut lol
10. Do you write crossovers?
Not really, no.

Not to my knowledge, no!

Also nope! I am a one man band!
14. What's your all-time favorite ship?
Omg that's such a hard question. Foxiyo will always have a special place in my heart, but I think Thranto currently has my whole heart. I love how much depth they both have and I think it gives the fandom a lot of material.
15. What's a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
I'm not going to put this into the universe lol all wips will be finished!
16. What are you writing strengths?
I tend to be really hard on myself, but I think I'm halfway decent at writing dialogue.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Definitely syntax and grammar.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in a fic?
I'm not a fan. I think it's cool to use it if you intend for your reader to not know, or if there is enough context to figure it out, but otherwise nah.

Law and Order SVU. Barson forever babeeeyy
20. Favorite fic you've written?
Ooo I think it might still be Perception, but I really like the Belonging Universe.

The goal of Fandom Friday: provide a place where people can shout-out their favorite creators from the week, whether it's a piece of fan art that made you smile or a fanfic that moved you. Drop a link to your favorite creations this week into my ask box along with what you loved about it, and I will give them a shout! It doesn't have to be Star Wars either! If it's on another website (AO3, Twitter, etc.), please be sure to state that as well.
This happens each week, so don't feel like you've got to get out everything in one week. Just keep track of them throughout the week or send me an ask whenever you find something, and I'll drop them all on Fridays (or throughout the weekend if I get a lot). You may submit for this week through the end of the day Friday.

Just hypothetically, what would modding a rexsoka event entail? I've never done anything like that and wouldn't even know where to start and I probably can't commit to it any time soon either but maybe one day?
I’ll be honest, I’ve never mod for an event before, but from the few I have participated, it usually depends on how big the event is. And usually, no matter what kind it is, a few mods is better than just a single mod.
(Disclaimer: This is all based on observation here, but I would welcome anyone who’s been a mod/who is now a mod to add all the necessary details on this post, or to even correct me if I’m wrong.)
From the looks of it, big bangs, reverse big bangs, and zines would require more work in that sense as opposed to character/ship week, character/ship month, bingos, 12 days of (ship name), etc. There’ll be the basics like
Marketing; announce it a few times to garner more attention (this event is happening soon, we’ll be posting prompts soon, there’ll be sign-ups to consider, etc)
Putting up some rules and/or FAQs (with prevention of biases in mind)
Set up an account for everyone to keep track on (or several, for easier communication e.g. discord)
Answer any questions about the event
Making the prompts (with prior option of voting what the participants want to make it more fun, if you’re willing)
Designing the list of prompts to a chosen and suitable theme of the event to attract the participants
Setting up the dates (some mods extend the dates for a week or two to make it easier for anyone to squeeze out any content at the last minute)
Reblogging/sharing any content made for such event daily once it starts
Big bang, reverse big bangs, and zines require a long stretch of time to launch, and you’d have to keep an eye on things to make sure things go smoothly.
Big bangs/reverse big bangs: Sign-ups for content creators would depend on either events, so for BB, there’ll be writers’ sign-ups first, whereas for RBB, it’ll be the artists. There are usually Google Forms involved, and the second wave of sign-ups (artists for BB, writers for RBB) would usually include the choices of themes and tropes they’d like to choose based on fics/art. It’ll be fair if the amount of art made for a fic is based on the word count, for example, 5k-10k words = 1 artwork, 11k-45k words = 2 artworks, and so on. And each art done from the artists in RBB will get a fic written for them, for example, 2 pieces of art = 2 fics with more than 5k words written in each fic.
Zines: I haven’t participated in a zine before, so I don’t know the required details that makes a zine, but I suppose it’s the same in terms of sign-ups and the basics of handling an event. There’s thinking into the financial side of making a zine (how much would you want to sell it and where would all the money go once the pre-orders have settled), the amount of printed out zines (including the merch e.g. keychains, stickers, enamel pins, etc) and shipping it out locally and internationally, and the quality of said zines and the merch. Oh, there’s also thinking into account of making a few extras, in case there are last minute buyers who’d want a grab.
I think there’s more, and it’d be lovely if anyone can add in on this!
There’s also exchange events like Valentine exchange, Halloween exchange, Christmas exchange, etc. Again, I don’t know much in the mod side of things work here, and I’ve never been in an exchange event before, so additions are really appreciated.
But the basics are the same in the event managing side. The mods would just have to put up a form for the participants, because they’ll be choosing the trope they want for the exchange they’ll be receiving, while also putting together something for the person who requested the trope they want. I think, almost similar to BB/RBB, the participants would choose based on what tropes that are put out by other participants, they’d choose something they’d be able/they’d want to do, and then they make something for the people they’re paired with based on it. (Correct me if I’m wrong)
Announcements are important. Very important. It’ll be less of a headache for all of us if everyone was on the same page, and it would be preferable if they were blared out earlier so that participants can set the date if there was anything they needed to do.
I hope this helps! I know there are some gaps here, but this is all just based on what I saw. I’m pretty sure there’s a post somewhere that guides you through an event step-by-step as a mod, but I’d have to look for it later.

What fics do you write? I'd love to read them if they're posted anywhere!
I have 2 fics on AO3 under GrimoireGirl, unfortunately they're both restricted to AO3 members due to Elon Musk AI Bot Shenanigans.
Both are Star Wars fics, one's an AU on ridiculously long hiatus that's... I think 45 published chapters? Lost count after the first 30, and the other's a collection of things done for 12 Days of Rexsoka last year.
I also have... a lot of unpublished drafts (15 at last count, and I know I've done more since, though I've abandoned a few as well), including a Tronfic I'm quite proud of that's at 4 chapters and still being worked on - if I get to 6 chapters that'll start going up on AO3 as well. It draws on elements of threads and character portrayals from @systemadministratorclu and @alanbradleyofficial (both of whom will be credited if the fic goes live) - mostly because I wasn't sure how to write Clu or Tron at first and their interpretations of the characters are amazing.

10. What work was the quickest to write?
i wrote sick thing in 8 days i think. it's 45k. no idea how or why i did that or if i can ever do it again.
12. How many WIP’s do you have in your docs for next year?
in terms of fic, i'd really like to pick up my ot3 post-vader anakin fic again, which is well over 40k but i put it down because i got self-conscious about not knowing enough about star wars. and even though it's been on my list for 2 years, i really do want to finish the epilogue of a standing engagement. i'm 15k into a post-apocalypse rexsoka fic but it's not really working out so i might scrap it. there's also my painter of the night patreon au that stalled out at 20k. would like to come back to that at some point.
for original stuff, i still have to rewrite about 75k of vandal and best kept is nearing 100k and a little less than halfway done. i'm also still working on my nonfiction proposal. so, a lot going on.
19. What’s one pairing you want to explore next year?
i imagine i'll keep doing what i've done the past couple years, which is to find a new ship, write a fic or two for it, and move on. i do miss the days of being *in* a fandom but i think this way is best so that i can feel like i'm contributing without eventually attracting fandom drama. i do plan to finish these rexsoka week fics though, and i imagine i'll be hopping around in star wars for a while. and i'm also rereading lord of the rings, so it would be cool to write a fic if i end up finding a pairing i like.
