Day 14: Favourite OFMD episode

In terms of anticipation, yearning, plot, parallels, comedy, easter eggs, surprise, and both a heart-warming and heart-wrenching mix of pirate action, I'd have to say that ep 1x10, AKA "Wherever You Go, There You Are" is my favourite episode.

It's what cemented my love for Our Flag Means Death. 1x10 was able to focus on so many aspects at the same time, in just 37 short minutes, in a masterful way without overwhelming anyone to an uncomfortable degree. It contains some of the most memorable moments and best soundtracks, such as the scene which I found the funniest and the song which I binge-listened to on repeat for several months.

It's such a good ending which I can hate on it for how it happened, all the while appreciating and loving it and being grateful that it didn't end any different, because there was no other way for it to go down.

I love it a lot. 💛
