HORROR WEEK- FOTD #148 : dead man's fingers! (xylaria polymorpha)

dead man's fingers is a saprobic fungus in the family xylariaceae. it commonly grows on rotting tree stumps in mainland europe & parts of north america. it is classified as a sac fungus !! this fungus was chosen for horror week because.. well.. it's a little obvious >:-)

the big question : will it kill me?? nah, but it's still inedible. ^^"

x. polymorpha description :

"the dark fruiting body (often black or brown, but sometimes shades of blue/green) is white on the inside, with a blackened dotted area all around. this blackened surrounding area is made up of tiny structures called perithecia."

And when he does those thing at that moment no one reacts the way they would have if it was other pairing, they'll act like it's no big deal and yet days later will ask the same to happen to others. Like you see the difference yet you claim you don't but also want that to happen.

If it would have been namkook or taekook or jihope or yoonmin it would have been like "imagine being in this love that you dedicate whole live watching that person on your screen", "when you can't get enough of the person you love you want to watch them 24/7" yet it hardly made any noise cause it was jikook.

Anyways, i was wondering since we got two reaction videos to Tae's MV do you think we'll get one with members too?

When James wants to get an owl, Sirius has to confess why he hates owls.

“Why do we even need to get an owl?” Sirius complains.  “The only people we write are each other and we live together.  We don’t need an owl.”

“Just in case we need to have any correspondence with anyone else – like our friends.”

“If someone wants to write us, they can use their owl and we can use the floo.”

James pauses and moves to stare at him in the doorway of Diagon Alley.  “Why do you hate owls?”

“I don’t hate owls,” Sirius states, plainly.  It’s a terrible lie, and James knows it, but he tries anyway.

“Don’t lie to me, Si.  You don’t want us to get a pet owl and it makes no sense.”

“It does if you’re me!”

“What does that mean?”

Sirius huffs, annoyed.  A part of him figured that James should already know why he hates owls.  “Nothing.”

“Don’t play that with me.  Tell me or I’m going to open up an owl sanctuary in our home just to drive you around the bend,” James threatens.

James has on a very serious look on his face.  “Fine, fine.  I hate owls because they bought me an owl and then used said owl to harass me with Howlers.”

He still hates thinking about it.  He’d grown quite attached to the owl (bought when he was nine so he could write the approved heir friends), but by the time he got to Hogwarts and disappointed them by being a Gryffindor, they started using his own pet against him.  He came to hate owls after that.  

James face softens.  “I’m sorry, Si.  I should’ve realized – we don’t need an owl.  Why don’t we get a puppy instead?”

Sirius can’t help smiling at James.  “Really?  You’d be okay with that?”

“Yes, we’re here for a pet, it doesn’t have to be an owl.”

He surges forward and gives him a kiss.  “Thanks, love, you’re the best.”

James grins.  “Don’t you forget it.”

“Definitely won’t.”

“Good.”
