[12x17 vs 16x10] Two times when Luke saw Penelope crying and tried his best to make her feel better. His faces are almost the same. But the difference is in Penelope reaction. In S12 she lied to him, telling that she was okay; in S16 she answered him and showed her fragility. With her "Luke, I don't think I can..." she pratically asked his intervention. In S16 Luke almost said the same thing he did in S12 before leaving, because even in S12 he told her they (meaning not exactly the team but just them) would have helped Reid. The real difference in S16 is that the way he said it; the tone of voice. And also Penelope reaction. If in S12 she just let him do it, but showed not so much faith, in S16 she immediately agreed and jumped with all herself in it.
