Oleg, 26
“I am wearing a 1920s (?) dress that I hand dyed from a spoiled olive color to this berry shade, an 80s handbag from Beacons Closet, and vintage reproduction shoes (if only I could fit into antique heels!). I have been wearing shades of red exclusively for a year now; it’s been the best sartorial challenge as I can no longer rely on color blocking to make an outfit. Instead it’s about the different shades of red (which there are many), silhouette, texture, etc. As always, the early 20th century has been my main inspiration, with my current obsession being drop waist cuts. Ugh, to be a flâneuse in 1920s Berlin! ”

After crossing from England on the SS Celestiana, Lady Eleanor Swift sets up her home-away-from-home in a lavish apartment in New York City. She is soon the toast…
