馃敤Square Hammer鈿★笍
Fanart of Papa Emeritus III for Halloween 2022! Inspired by the Square Hammer music video, which was based off of German impressionist films from the 1920鈥檚. Really proud of this one.

Buster Keaton was a very good actor.
In acting, you can show your reactions to the audience with your voice and facial expressions/body language.
But in silent films, the voice part was taken away so the actors had to rely on their facial expressions and body language. That鈥檚 why in silent films you see the actor鈥檚 over exaggerating their reactions.
But since buster was known for his dead pan face he was limited in showing expressions (he showed other expressions just not a smiling one). He had to rely heavily on his body language (and the facial expressions he did do) to convey to the audience what was happening.
