John Lennon's photoshoot for “Cosmopolitan”, 1964
He wasn't just resting during the break in Key West, Florida. He got new clothes and posed for the Cosmopolitan Magazine while the other boys went out to a beach-like area.

Julie London performing on an elevated polar bear rug at the Flamingo hotel showroom, January 1964. Las Vegas News Bureau.
Miss London, billed with Jack Carter, has an impressive act slickly staged by Jonathan Lucas. The star has a conversation piece entrance – she comes in above the auduence on a tram while lying on a polar bear rug, singing 'Fly Me to the Moon' - Review Journal, 1/25/64

JOHN and CYNTHIA LENNON photographed by DEZO HOFFMANN in Miami, February 1964.
“My feelings for John were very different from those I’d had for any other boy: more powerful, more exciting and totally unshakeable. And I sensed in John the same strong feelings. Perhaps each of us recognised and was drawn to a deep need in the other. But at the time I didn’t analyse it. I simply felt certain that this was no passing fling. It was real love.” — Cynthia Lennon, ‘John’.
