“Shame on them! Christmas slaps,” Louis says and nods seriously making Harry giggle cutely, “so, shall we get this party started then?”, he adds feeling brave enough to admit his desire to spend more time with the curly-haired boy.

Harry looks at him in surprise, “what do you mean?”, he asks again.

“Well, if you love Christmas and I love Christmas and both of us didn’t have time to really kick off the holiday season yet, why don’t we work together and get the job done much faster and with loads more fun?”, Louis replies with a warm feeling in his stomach.

“You wanna decorate with me?”, Harry asks again almost as if he can’t believe it.

“Decorate, make Christmas cookies, watch Christmas films, go pick a tree, you name it you call it!”

His inner omega preens at the soft glimmer that appears in Harry’s eyes, “I’d like that,” he says shyly.

Or a Christmas AU in which a soft alpha with gorgeous green eyes and an even prettier smile moves into Louis' apartment complex and turns the omega's world upside down during his most favourite time of the year - featuring christmas decorating, christmas markets, cookies in the making, and copious amounts of mulled wine (and kisses).

The curly haired man sniffles again, but the tears seemed to have stopped for now at least. “I was supposed to spend Christmas Eve with my boyfriend, that is until we got into a horrible fight.” He seems to wince at his own words. “I guess I should start getting used to calling him my ex-boyfriend. But anyways, we just couldn’t stay there any longer. Kevin and I had to get out.”

Louis blinks before looking around the empty tube car confusedly. “Kevin?”

The man nods and then squeezes a little tighter to the little potted plant clutched in his arms. “Kevin is a Christmas Cactus, but he doesn’t bloom.” He quickly adds. “Which is completely fine, because I love him just as he is.”

Louis’ not sure what most of that means. All he does know is that he needs to make sure this strange, beautiful creature is never sad again.

(Or the one where two broken people meet in an empty tube car on Christmas Eve. Can they find a way to heal each other?)

Louis let out a small giggle before nodding. “I’ll be sure it gets returned to you…?” He trailed off, one eyebrow raised at the other man.

“Harry,” he replied, amusement still shining in his eyes. “And you are?”

“Louis,” the omega responded before leaning back into his seat averting his eyes once again. “Thank you, really, for the charger. You’re a lifesaver. I’m not sure how I would’ve made it through without my Netflix.”

“Who’s gonna be the elf?” Louis asks, turning toward Liam as he crosses his arms. 

“Wait, so you’ll do it?!” Liam perks right back up.

Louis raises his eyebrows. “Not so fast. I need to know who the elf is first before I even consider considering.”

“I got my friend Harry to agree to being the elf while I was on my way here. He should be here soon. Honestly, I’m glad you’re doing this instead of any of them because you’d probably get along with him the best out of all your friends.”

“Harry? Last name? Do I know him?”

“No, I don’t think so. His last name is Styles. He’s your type, though, so I don’t think it’ll be a problem.”

“The boy’s last name is Styles, and you think he’ll be my type? Do you even know me?” Louis asks incredulously.

Before Liam has a chance to answer, someone shouts his name, and they both turn in the direction the shout came from to see a boy jogging toward them. 

“That’s him?!” Louis whisper-shouts in Liam’s ear.

Liam winces but quickly turns smug, shrugging his shoulders. “Told you.”

“–but not well enough to get me a Christmas present?”

Most of the crowd politely looks away at this point. Nick bursts out laughing.

When Nick meets Harry at his company holiday party, he never would have predicted that he’d met his match. Luckily, he’s been known to be wrong on occasion.
