This is by far my most elaborate commission to ate, and I am so thankful to my friend Laura for having given me this opportunity and also being so patient with me!
The two rightmost framed drawings were created by me, with the third one being a lovely portrait by @/monsterbetch on Twitter!
Looking over my perspective bcb piece, I think it would have had better framing if I cropped the bottom 1/3 off so we just see maybe Lucy's legs and arm, but I really really wanted to capture the perspective-bendyness of having lucy being visually below the "from under" perspective point
I think it's more difficult to have a piece contain ALL the perspective points, but if you can pull it off it always looks really neat.
I think I come close to doing it in this frame, but I don't think the right most perspective point is in there, but it almost feels like it is.
“Melting the ice”- Haven’t done art in perspective for a while and it was a good practice in drawing something in 2 point perspective. Had to redo it 3 times and spent 5 hours on it to get it to this point XD I may finish colouring it some day. Till then, have a broody Mordel, contemplating his life choices.
1 point background babyyyyy, fun fact, I used to make 1 and 2 point background scetches in my math book constantly, I really like em, and this peice turned out super nice imo
2pt background, also real fun, got to draw my goblin wizards smoochin in this ornate room with phonky lighting
view from outside my window, kinda abstracted cuz I wanted to get this done quickly. it's nice enough, not my best but overall today's been pretty good. my dad made my fam waffles, it's been a really nice day.
