WIP Wednesday (7/12/23) - Closed | Andrew First AU

Andrew reminds himself that it was all a ploy and that even if it wasn't he and Neil are truly nothing at the moment. Kevin's hands return to Neil's shoulders and Neil's own hands came up to Kevin's lower back as they continued to sway to the final song of the night.

After tonight he hopes he would have the right to go over and swat Kevin's hands away.

The final song ends and Neil escorts Kevin back to the Foxes who smile at the sight of him. “I believe this Striker belongs to you.” He says.

“That was probably the nicest this banquet has ever gone for us since I’ve started having to come to them.” Dan says with a laugh. “It was nice to meet you Neil,” her gaze flicks over to Andrew as he came to stand just behind Neil, “we hope we get to see more of you.” She adds.

Neil hesitates slightly.

“Well…uh…we’ll see.” Neil says rubbing his arm before turning around and startling slightly at Andrew’s close proximity. He startles a step back so as not to run into him.

“Where are you going?” He asks.

Neil flushes, “Just…I need to let the coach know and grab my stuff from our bus first.” He says looking away, “I wasn’t going to run.” He says looking Andrew in the eye.

“I know,” He says and he does believe Neil. Neil had said ‘ok’ had said that he’d hear him out, “Still, I want to come with you.” he says because if he can’t convince Neil he wants all the time he can get with him for now. Neil seemed to understand that and offers an awkward smile.

“Let’s go.” He says and they head out towards the Trojan table as the Foxes watch on.

People forget the weird scares about the Church of the SubGenius. The infamous 20/20 documentary was widely advertised, but to this day no one has found a copy of it. Many people claim to have seen it, however.

Day 506 - 508 (1 year, 142 - 144 days)

Heya, how are we doing today? Hope you had a great day so far. Treat yourself. ^^

So today a new event started. Days of Nature returns and it has some gameplay added to it as well. ^^

It takes place again in Sanctuary Island. Same island as last time so it actually blends really well into the sunset event that happens around that area. I wouldn't mind if all the Days of Nature events happen in that area. :D

So what's new? One cosmetic and a small quest you can do daily.

First the quest. They added porpoises to the game! More adorable flying sea creatures! Gotta love how the devs slowly add more and more to the wildlife of the game. Always a treat to see more.

One porpoise is covered in dark plants near the nature guide. Burning the plants frees it and guides you to a vortex in the sea nearby.

There is even a boat with the Anxious Angler from Abyss season in it. On the boat is the place to start the quest. In the vortex there are a bunch of porpoises trapped in nets and garbage that was thrown into the sea. The angler is worried that the garbage might spread darkness.

So of course you are there to clean it up. Quite fun actually since the vortex does cause a small current. Not too obnoxious but just enough to be a small challenge. Cleaning up all the garbage will also reward you with some wax, so it's definitely worth just doing it if you are nearby. Especially since sunset event around that time also gives a ton of wax. :D

Anyway to the new cosmetic.

180 candles?!? For a cape? TGC please stop inflating prices so high! This is getting absurd!

So anyway I bought it. TT

It is a nice cape though. It's blue, small and mostly one sided. Also semi transparent! I like it a lot actually. Might just casually wear it for my default outfit. I just wish the devs would stop with the prices. Oh well...

Cinderella: The Reunion ABC Announcement

Rodgers & Hammerstein’s 1997 version of Cinderella will get it’s first broadcast in two decade to celebrate the film’s 25th anniversary. Before the film airs, ABC will also reunite the surviving cast during a special edition of “20/20.”

Members of the cast appearing on the “20/20″ special include Brandy (Cinderella), Paolo Montalban (Prince Christopher), Jason Alexander (Lionel), Whoopi Goldberg (Queen Constantina), Victor Garber (King Maximillian), Bernadette Peters (Stepmother), and Veanne Cox (Stepsister Calliope). The special will also feature behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with producers Debra Martin Chase and Neil Meron and costume designer Ellen Mirojnick. Other interviews include Billy Porter, Jade Jones, and Todrick Hall as to how the film’s diverse cast influenced representation in Hollywood.

The “20/20″ special and Cinderella are scheduled to air on August 23, 2022.
