GOJO SATORU as a 2000’s Boyfriend
-the type to wear the loombands you give him loud and proud on his wrist.
-calls you on the landline, leaning against the wall with a hand in his pocket as he relaxes by listening to you talk about your day. “mhm, tell me more about it doll”
-once when you were mad at him, he shot you a text to tell you to check your locker for a “surprise”
you rolled your eyes, opening your locker to reveal a corny poster of him with puppy eyes holding a flower and a bouquet with a card saying “will you forgive me?”. It was so corny it made you burst out with laughter and forget your anger.
-“babe, look outside your window ;)” you read his text from your purple flip phone. you couldn’t help but roll your eyes with a big smile as you rolled the glass pane up. “gojo, you idiot, what are you doing here, my parents will kill you” you giggled, hissing it excitedly. he climbs up the tree, and lands with a thud onto your carpeted pink floor.
“my bad babe, should i turn back now?” he grinned, brushing the leaves off himself. you grab his hand and pull him towards you.
“Atta girl.” he says proudly, kissing you on the forehead and wrapping his arm around you.
-when you guys go to the beach and watch the sunset in his daddy’s nice black mercedes, and he softly sings “head over heels” under his breath as he stares at your side profile glazed with the sunset light.
-years later, he sees you in a shopping mall, you’ve outgrown your highlights and sparkly tops. You’re giggling with your gal pals about some new skincare. He smiles to himself as he turns away, thinking you looked just as beautiful as when he first met you. It was as if time had stopped and he imagined all the years you had spent apart. A wave of feelings, nostalgia and rekindled love lights up in his heart, but he reaches for the door handle of the shop, his heart heavy.
“wait! satoru, is that you?” you call out hopefully, craning your head, and skipping around aisles to get a better look. His head whips around, swallowing. Your eyes meet and your breath quickens. Could we really make up for lost time?
