Andy Larsen crunches 50 years of Utah Mormon stats. For 1980-2000 surveys, LDS did not report members with no local ward affiliation, but for 2010 & 2020, LDS changed to reporting all baptized members. Even so, the raw number of Mormons in Utah dropped in 17 of 29 counties during the last decade. via /r/atheism

Mom goes on about Pro-Life. So I'm voting in November for the first time.
Never did I think I'd post on here, but here I am!
When I was younger I made the decision to never vote. I didn't want to put someone into power only for said person to go on and be nothing like they said they would (yeah yeah, sounds dumb but I was a kid). Up until now I kept that vow. I didn't vote in 2016, 2020, etc. But on the way to work just now my mom and I past a small sign that was about Pro-Life. My mom kinda went off about abortion being murder and all that. Something about God taking them if they're not ment to be or something. I honestly don't know. I tried explaining that it's not a human but she was said: "Yes it is. From the moment it's conceived!"
Anyways..... I'll be breaking vow in November (Pro-Choice). But I don't see myself as any Political party. What do I do about that?
