Hey peeps, I have already started my 2020 Challange for this year but I also wanted to update my little blog here on what I will be reading / what I have read. I will be reviewing books on this blog as well as posting studyblr related content so get ready! I will not be reviewing the books I have already read, instead, I am just going to add them here as I go along and see how many I finished this year. My goal is 50 books in 2020, and I have already read 16!

I didn’t realise moving away from Melbourne would be something that I’d struggle with. At the time it felt exciting and exhilarating to have the ability to quit my job and follow my Fiance’ to a sleepy beach town 4 hours away from Melbourne. The opportunity is undoubtedly amazing, but I can’t help but feel sad and miss my family and friends back home. Its only for 11 months but I am going to try and embrace this as a challenge to grow, and also enjoy having the ability to visit the beach as often as I would like :P xx

My friends!  Long time no post.  Apologies.  I wish I had an excuse but honestly…I’ve just been lazy lol.

The good news is I have not been lazy in my quest to get closer to being the person I want to be!  I completed the Blogilates 2020 challege and the first 21 days of the @jacqattacq 2020 habit challenge (PLUS another challenge I didn’t post about on here) without missing a day!  I’m so proud!!!

On to the second 21 days of the habit challenge!  For these 21 days, I’ll be focusing on the following:

1) flossing morning AND night (cliche, but I only used to do it at night but my dentist told me twice a day so…)

2) reading at least 20 pages a day

3) a prayer of gratitude every morning.  I spend too much prayer time asking God for things instead of thanking Him for everything I’ve been blessed with.  

4) practice guitar for 10 minutes

My motivation is still going strong!  Let’s get this breadddd(do the kids still say that?)

I feel like these have been getting shorter each day but it’s just because I write at the end of the day when I’m tired and almost ready for bed!

Anyway have still done every day of both challenges. ☺️ It’s my weekend so I hope to get some rest and write more in depth soon.

Harry Potter House Challenge

One Brave Thing


Could be something that genuinely scares you, could also be that thing you’ve been putting off forever and will now finally bite the bullet and get done (even though you probably still don’t want to do it). Tell someone you love them; start that novel; tackle that closet you’ve been avoiding for years - it all counts.

One Clever Thing


Could be a thing which challenges you intellectually (learn a new language, practice a new skill, etc, etc), or it could also be some longer term strategic planning work (because what’s smarter than helping your Future-Self out in some way?).

One Kind Thing


Call your mother. Have patience. Donate. Lead with your heart. Seek to understand before being understood. You know this one.

One Thing That’s Just For You


Could be a self-care thing, or it could be something to serve your Big Dream. Lean into that ambition; serve yourself; no apologies.

Here’s hoping 2020 will be…magical

Alright alright alright. Four days in the books.

Today was the first day since the 1st that I haven’t felt motivated. Meh at least I still got everything done.

For the 2020 challenge it was parachuters (so much fun!!!) and jack knifes.

I thought drinking so mush water would help my skin but I have a zit the size of a national park. 😒

Mustered up some courage and spoke with a guest in awful broken Spanish.

For anyone reading this: do you have a morning and/or evening routine? If so, what does it entail?

Day three and still going strong! Which, embarrassingly enough, is more than I can say for some challenges I did last year. 😬

Plié squat and v ups for the 2020 challenge. The biggest thing I’m getting from this challenge is that I have zero core/ab strength and that is something I really need to focus on.

Did all my habits for the 2020 habit challenge as well. I watched the sunset again while walking the pups and realized I’ve watched the sunset every day this year. 😌 That streak will probably end tomorrow as I’m working 10-6 and the sun has been setting at like 4:30.
