‘The reason I stopped meditating when I did was because my neck began hurting with all the shakings. The promise with the shakings is that it is a sure sign that I am a step closer to God. But the body can take only so many strong vibrations and no more.

And much like when I went from the conscious to the subconscious terrain, I am experiencing the occasional irrational fear of ghosts and other wrong turns in my journey. God ! God ! God ! That’s the cry to keep going through one’s fears. I may be on the verge of beholding the spiritual eye. So why wouldn’t I meditate ? Why wouldn’t I make the effort to last long in each session ?

‘Tried listening to the heart during the session tonight. I couldn’t hear it but I could feel it beat. The sensation was distant and weak and yet I knew that this was the heart I was looking at. It felt slower than every other occasion when I have felt the heart many times through the session.

Actually, the shakings are violent but they don’t feel violent. There is much calmness in the mind by the time the shakings come. The calmness holds despite the violent movement.

Strangely, this isn’t how I felt when I could hear my heart’s beat when I was meditating in at a lower level of concentration. This was when I could hear the heart loud and I used to be struggling with the subconscious. Then, it was disturbing. Now, I am barely aware of the heart. It is now all about the energy trying to locate my spine and disturbing everything on its way to the spine. Cool.’
