Ours are connected.
A red string.
Invisible but there.
Connected through time and space.
Together. Always.
As we will be.
Eventually.
Then for the rest of our lives.
Since I expressed discontent at a new Hetalia anime coming into fruition I’m just gonna share that my history with the series is that when I was like, 13 or 14, and getting into anime in that really basic fucking entry level weeb who loves Naruto and Attack on Titan and Sword Art Online, my high school had an anime club. I joined it, and my little brother’s friend’s big sister ran it (the reverse order there is the like, chain of people that got me into anime) and she liked Hetalia, so one day she like, brought the DVD for one of the seasons, I don’t fuckin know which one, and just played some episodes. I recall not really liking it, and also being confused by the lack of acknowledgement towards Nazism and the Holocaust and just the general horrors of that time. I think I also wanted to be into it though because when you’re at that age you just want to fit in and the people I wanted to fit in with were like the Tumblr anime community of the time. Also maybe this is a clue to what season I watched but I recalled Italy and Germany being the only characters who appeared, and I think that was one part of why I wasn’t into it, because I wanted the whole cast to be there since I’d seen like, photosets of everyone or whatever. I don’t fuckin know, this was like 6 years ago. But yeah. I never tried to get into it beyond that. That’s all.
