just another day of losing my mind over the fact how indian cinema refuses to incorporate gender equality by casting actors with 20-30 age gap for onscreen romance

it irks me every single day how female actors are supposed to be young and hot and sexy and star against men twice their age or even more than that

aren’t we in 2022? aren’t the rules of the cinema supposed to be no longer misogynist? like male actors around 60 years old have shared the screen with around 3 generations as their love interest

basically actresses cannot age or they will greet their downfall while their ancient male costars can keep on starring in romantic roles fucking ridiculous

#for example anushka sharma and shah rukh khan with an age gap of 22 years #deepika and srk with 20 years #akshay kumar kriti sanon 23 years #him with now manushi chillar in his new film who is 29 years younger than him?? twice her age is even less than his #disha patani and salman khan and the list is truly ceaseless #bollywood #desi #indian cinema #desi tag #desiblr #indian

Today I listened to Mr.Shahrukh Khan Sir's one speech.... actually first speech for Filmfare..best actor something maybe....where he went on stage...looking happy...a bit nervous and.....he said....I want to say sorry to Filmfare... someone named Khalid...that I was insecure...I said something wrong...I am also carrying money with me in my pocket so that I could buy award.... sorry 😔😔 for everything..... that's what I've understood from that video...and am shocked...like this is the SRK...??????....but yeah...this shows that everyone has a story... everyone has phases....in life...some good some bad...but yeah...

And one more thing..at the end of his speech he said...I would like to take this award...every time...every year...year after year..and one done life time achievement award for best actor....and he fulfilled it...he stood up on his words...this is it..SRK is the SRK because he stood up on his words..he is overconfident maybe but he has that thing in him... that panache... that hardwork... that attitude...on which he can be...he should be... overconfident of.. yeah..

A glimpse of that speech...and SRK 's award winning time...

okay so I saw venom 2 last week and I def need to rewatch it but I was honestly a bit dissapointed, especially after seeing all the praise on tumblr about how gay and awesome the movie is

like, what bothered me the most was how focused everything was on Anne and nobody here talks about it. I was already afraid Eddie would simp after her after seeing the end of the first movie but even venom seemed to like her more than he does like Eddie. ofc there was also the good old 'we kidnap your girl to get you' and always those tries to kiss her or get her back even tho she is happy with Dan. I just really hope the next movies will concentrate more on a big family-esque or big friendship between those 4 instead of that pathetic try to get her back even tho she says no several times
