Today marks the anniversary of a special, most significant day in my life. Who would’ve thought that the words “Afghanistan or Iraq” would be life-saving, life-changing, life-giving.

Sherlock, for 13 years and counting you’ve been my best in everything;

My best flatmate, my best friend, and my best, one and only partner in crime.

You know that I’m not a man of words or nice speeches (I leave that to you), but that I’m more a man of action, even though my actions were not always just nor true to what you mean to me. I plan on spending the next 13 years (or till death by crime do us part) making that up to you.

But today, something did. Something happened.

I was walking in the park and I bumped into Mike Stamford.

I mentioned that I wanted to move. He said he knew of someone in a similar situation.

So we went to Barts and he introduced us.Except, he didn’t. He didn’t introduce us.

The man knew who I was. Somehow he knew everything about me.It’s mad. I think he might be mad.

He was certainly arrogant and really quite rude.

he looks about 12 and he’s clearly a bit public school and, yes, I definitely think he might be mad.

but he was also strangely likeable. He was charming. It really was all just a bit strange.

So tomorrow, we’re off to look at a flat. Me and the madman.

My Drama teacher kept dropping his phone, and instead of just picking it up like a normal person would, he would take his shoes off, pick the phone up and put his shoes back on. He called this a “life hack” and it made perfect sense in the dream—it even seemed genius.
