On Friday, I was given a frozen turkey. At fifteen pounds, it should have taken three days to thaw, so I planned to cook it Tuesday morning. That didn't happen.

This morning, I went to cook the turkey. I take it out of its packaging, and it's still frozen! Not a little icy, but straight-up frozen.

You can, according to the USDA, cook a turkey from frozen, but it's so frozen I can't get the innards out and I can't remove the plastic truss/handle. So now it's sitting in the fridge in its roasting pan, while I wait for it to defrost enough to remove the things that shouldn't be in there in the first place.

What would you call yourself?

There would definitely be ‘Valkyrie’ somewhere in my name, whether it’s my character’s first name or a nickname like ‘The Valkyrie’. Other than that, I am not sure!

What would your gear look like?

This is actually a really hard question, as I like a range of different wrestling gear aesthetics and they don’t exactly overlap, but I’ve narrowed it down to two possible looks depending on where in my career of character arc I am. This is probably a way more detailed answer than you actually wanted, lol.

When I’m still in my insecure ere, I’d wear black tights with silvery and elegant details up the sides, a top similar to the black lace one that Penelope Ford wore, and black wrist tape in a style that wraps around the hands, decorated all over with doodles in a white/silver pen.

When I begin to gain my confidence and find myself, I’d ditch all the graceful parts that were expected of me but I didn’t identify with. My tights would become dark denim shorts with silver/white doodles on the back pockets and around the hem much like on my wrist tape, which would carry over from my insecure era. The doodles are less clean than the elegant design on my initial tights. My black boots would have laces printed with similar doodles to the rest of my gear. I’d have a few styles of top to keep things interesting, from my own merch shirts that I’ve diy-cropped to a sleeveless leather top that zips up at the front.

In my confidence era entrance, I’d wear a cropped denim jacket that matches the shorts, doodles and all, but with silvery flames painted on, reaching up about halfway from the hem to where the sleeves begin.
