He's an actor and (ex) member of 2d1n season 4.

Recently he starred in "Hometown Cha Cha Cha". His most popular drama is " Start Up". Here's his face if you don't know what he looks like.

What happened: a few days ago woman shared a story about her dating life with actor K. She stated that he abu*sed her and ga*slighted her into having an abort*ion (here's full version of the message from Soompi)

She didn't mention his full name nor attach any evidence of their dating life.

Then someone mentioned him in the comments and news portal used his blurred photo in the article.

Because of the pressure the actor released a statement (here's the full version from Soompi and another translation form user @/seontiger_twt). He admitted that he was dating her and said that he'll apologize to her personally.

He did not adress the abo*rtion, abu*sing and gasli*ghting.

He quit 2d1n, commercials cancelled their contracts with him and etc.

A few hours ago his ex-gf said that he did apologize to her and they came to mutual agreement.

Also some anon said that they have the evidence of their dating life and they will share it later.

I tried to give you as much information as I can without any emotional aspect. Hope it helps.

If you want to know my opinion - I'm wholeheartedly on the victim's side. Although, thankfully, I didn't experience something like this personally I still feel very bad for her and I hope she's okay.

It's clear that she really didn't want to affect him that much (she didn't mention his name nor attached any evidence) so the whole issue was orchestrated by someone else who wanted to drag him down.

Honestly I feel lost and confused. He's been in the show that was my comfort for over a year now and I was enjoying his dramas. Just 3 days ago everyone was praising his acting and him in general and now this.

Also I'm from Russia and we don't have cancel culture so in russian community there's a lot of people who are blaming them both, just her or don't understand how being mani*pulated and abu*sed works. And I feel pressured from the both sides and don't even know my own feelings anymore.

Hi, I haven’t posted in a while but here is the thing.

It took me a long time to write this down as a way of letting go, and I’m only going to post this and not respond (if I get any). This is my personal opinion about the entire situation of Kim Seon Ho.

I became a casual fan of him from 2D1N and followed his work, and I was genuinely happy about his success after Hometown Cha Cha Cha. But then the scandal hit, and I was genuinely upset by his actions written by the ex-girlfriend. Now though, I don’t understand the amount of hate he is getting.

The fact that the ex has posted that it was all a “misunderstanding” and she didn’t realize it was going to be this bad is making me furious. She worked in the industry for ten years, I wouldn’t be surprised if she was the one who leaked his name to that YouTube guy. She knew exactly how much to write to avoid legal actions and that shows her experience in the entertainment industry. So you’re telling me that you wouldn’t have known what the reaction would be if you didn’t write that he mentally manipulate you to have abortion? You destroyed this man’s reputation and you didn’t know it would be this bad? Bullshit.

And the two faced thing, about him badmouthing and cursing, are you all saying that you don’t badmouth about your coworkers to your trusted ones? Hell, there are clips of 2D1N of Seonho cursing and everyone laughed during that scene where other members told that Moon Seyoon used to badmouth about the PD. I’m guilty of this I guess because I curse like a sailor with my friends and talk shit about my coworkers to my family and friends. But the thing that makes me a little sad is how much trust he had on her that time to be open about this.

Now, the main accusation, forced abortion and gaslighting. With her deleting her posts and saying it was all a misunderstanding, I can’t believe that anymore. And also, if that’s the case, why stay with him? Now you can’t give me the bullshit of she was young and naive, no she was older to him and they were just few months into dating when the abortion happened. And he was a rising star at that time and the agency had to capitalize on his popularity so of course he would be busy, and as someone who has been in that industry for a long ass time, shouldn’t she know this? What I’m most upset about is that she said she was forced to and then said it was a misunderstanding, like why are you going back and forth now? Just stick to one and when he apologized privately then you should have just said he did and matter is closed. And the marriage thing, as someone in a serious relationship, I had told my partner what my expectations were right from the beginning. From my point of view, Seon Ho and his ex should have better communication on what they wanted from the relationship. To judge him to not wanting to get married is wrong, but for him to promise marriage at the end is also wrong. People change in a relationship and they both should have been honest about their needs and expectations rather than waiting and putting it off.

Their relationship was something private that she brought to the world, and we all can agree that both sides are wrong. He was an asshole, but is he that bad to receive the hate he’s getting? Fuck no. It was bad relationship and a bad breakup and she used her words to bring him down as revenge and now she’s cleaning her hands by saying it’s all a misunderstanding. Are you telling me you haven’t done an asshole thing like breaking up over phone or choosing your career or not wanting to have kids? By her own admission, it was her choice in the end. Now that she’s taking her posts down, I think that she twisted the story to put him in a bad light. He made bad decisions and those shouldn’t be the reason he is getting so much hate and canceling.

We truly don’t know a person, and every story has three sides: hers, his and the truth. In a way, his agency did the right thing of apologizing right off and not drag this mess. That way it’ll be easy for everyone to move on, but we will never know the truth about the situation. If you don’t want to support Seon Ho, that’s completely fine. If you are sending death threats to the ex, you’re an asshole too. For me though, if his movies and dramas are interesting, I’ll watch them. He made a mistake and he is human and I’m not dismissing his actions. They both are human beings and what was a private messy situation turned into public messy situation that destroyed reputations. Will Seonho recover from this? Probably, he’s talented and with the right script he can gain his credibility. But his reputation will always have a stain now. I hope that everyone knows that your words can have an affect on someone’s else, whether it’s true or not, so please be careful of what you say or write.

P.S. if you are upset with the situation and don’t want to support him, your feelings are completely valid. Please don’t spread rumors about the ex or send death threats to her and move on like I have now. Please don’t add more negativity to the situation.

For me, 2d1n is more like a family. The members have different characters but when you are together it’ll be the perfect combination. I can feel the strong bond between all of you and it makes me feel like traveling with my friends or family. 2d1n is more than a funny variety, it’s entertaining, heartwarming, and also gives me some life lessons.

This year has been a tough year due to the pandemic, and we can’t have a full celebration because of the controversy. Even though I want 6 members to be together again, but I know there are many things to be concerned about and it is hard to make any decision at this moment. So if my wish can’t come true, at least please make this season as long as possible.
