Kundalini Challenge

Depth: This was written soon after the session-

‘The shakings are keeping my mind in the conscious realm. And that is, so far, the biggest problem with this inexhaustible surge of energy. The shakings are shaking up mundane memories.

All those experiences of being extra quiet in the mind, are experiences of the past. That quiet of the past would allow for the breathing activity to rest, to stand still. Not any more. The breathing never really disappears because the shakings shake the body up. And with the body awake, all old and new memories are also awake. Sigh.

This is irreversible. I have to get beyond this phase in order to overcome this kundalini challenge. So be it.

During the count breathing exercises I nearly lost all sense of what I was doing. Thanks to a full, even though late, recovery, I was able to move onto the holy Hong Sau.

There is much contentment in knowing that there is no direction left for me to travel in except inwards. All ambitions are for right here, right now.’

absolutely in love with the shamrock theme in this month's spread ☘🥰 march is my last full month of classes - exams start mid-april. Reading week has been restful and I'm spending my last 2 days mentally preparing for the last 5 weeks of the semester. I am also going to focus on more non-academic things this month after burning out before the break, like getting back into running and cycling as it gets warmer, trying new recipes, and throwing myself into interior décor.

also, yesterday i found out that i won a summer research award at my uni!! I'll be working with the same oceanography prof as last summer, except I'll FINALLY be able to go into the lab and get paid as well 😎

i hope everyone is taking care of themselves and enjoying the new spring (which is yet to come here, its still freezing and snow on the ground but its so close i can feel it!) 🌼
