1/30 days of productivity - [11/November]

Im going to try this again, and actually be realistic about it bc there's no way im going to have the discipline to reach 100 days of active posting.

So today: ✅ did house chores T-T and had the most traumatizing experience trying to arrange raw chicken ✅ chose the outfit to hang out with a cute girl this afternoon <3 ✅ read an article for our modelling final project ✅ had an online meeting with our mentor for the project and i was a bit anxious about talking to him over zoom (especially since two members of our group already knew him, so i didn't want to just sit there and be quiet), but i think it went well

Posting super early bc im gonna play dnd this afternoon, im so excited. I never played before, so a bit anxious about that, but i think it's going to be great

stressful stressful days, the only thing i can do is to take things as they come🦑 i’m going to erasmus in spain and moving from my current place, my flatmates have decided to make it much harder than it needs to by being distasteful as always 🚃⛰️

- things i did do: research for erasmus traineeship, take meaningful time to myself, did something i felt very anxious about doing (did not breakdown after thanks to my support net, i’m so grateful!)

- things i’d like to do: read “tiny beautiful things”, research for a course that could help the traineeship, notes

day twenty four: what are your thoughts on love?

i think sometimes we try to convince ourselves that it doesnt exist, or that we're better off without, and life can sometimes deny you that love that you deserve, but we all need it, and maybe its just a little love that will get you through the day. i hope its everywhere.

we were doing olive harvesting today so i didnt get to do much work today, ill try do more tomorrow

I've always wanted to take up this challenge but I doubted that I won't be able to complete it successfully. The doubt is still there, but I wanna give it a try anyways. Today I learned about data types in NumPy, and also the different ways of type casting. It was a short study session, because I went out for lunch :P and also had a terrible flare afterwards.

anyways,

my dear akka recommended me the Finch app and i like it so far. It was literally the only reason i took a bath today.

I watched youtube videos on projection of lines and solved two problems. I somehow messed up the second one but hey, i got the first one right.

My friend keeps calling me "topper" everytime she finds me studying and its annoying but i honestly wish that were true. meanwhile, she's the one scoring better in the two quizzes she had today. I had gen math and gen bio while she had gen bio and math (the normal kind, the harder kind).

My bio quiz went better than the other two, thankfully. My math quiz, not really. :( I'm sad about that but okay. I just need to get better.

Anyways bye!! I hope I wake up early tomorrow and attend all lectures (except maybe programming, it's pointless to go because I don't understand anything at all).

2-5/30 days of productivity - [12-15 November]

so hello, hello. ive actually been writing my dop posts, but i've been lazy to format them and consequently post them lol, so a small update of this last couple days:

💝 Personal life:

things have been kinda of a mess, but I've been trying to not let the negativity get into my nerves, so i let it all out before coming home (even if it's just complain with friends) I think i've already said i went to a dnd event with a friend, it was so cool!!! I also hung out with my sis, and made plans to watch the hunger games movie tomorrow with a friend! <3

💻 Studies

i was so tired, i really thought i wouldn't have any time to study this week, but i've been trying to catch up with quantum physics, tomorrow i'll study the radiatons protocol for a lab class on friday. We have a presentation tomorrow, and I already have everything ready, and i even managed to study a bit today! So, i feel like things are kinda managed rn :))

💅 Self care:

I've been crocheting a lot, I've also been watching series again (started fruits basket and im liking it so far), cooking a lot of comfort foods, getting enough sleep. I think I'm managing well enough. Also, I have struggled before with people pleasing to a ridiculous extend even to people who "dont deserve it", and I think I've been accepting a lot better what is in my power to help, and what it's not and who actually "deserves" me spending time and energy on them. Idk, this makes me kinda happy, bc i used to waste hours helping people that wouldn't do the same in return...

Now, i gotta revision and watch a fruits basket episode.

it rained today!!

tbh i was really unproductive today but i got a little done and ill be able to finish what i couldnt do tomorrow. i also played a bit minecraft today which was nice.

i found a new song the other day and now it lives in my head rent free

making the tulip was very fun!! i just found a cute lil youtube tutorial.

day 1 / 30 of productivity

i MUST get into being productive regularly or im going to collapse into a puddle during the second semester as my course load will be insane. so ill start now, as the second half of the first semester is also starting next week and im going to start working on my thesis early!

goals for these 30 days:

get my thesis going

more specifically, get some reading done and work on the introduction and methods. ill get clearer goals once ive had my first meeting with my supervisor

read the book for my book club! 0/340 pages

practice my target languages on a more regular and structured basis

practice ancient greek for my course in the third block

exercise! i love exercising and its nice to make sure i practice everything equally

going to steal the language logs from @nordic-language-love for this ! i think they're a nice way to track stuff. not sure whether ill do it on paper or digitally, but we'll see
