I apologize as I haven't been on much, and I had planned on posting a movie each day for #31daysofhorror, but better late than never! So here are my movies for days 1-4:
Day 1 - Halloween (1978)
Day 2 - Carrie (1976)
Day 3 - The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
Day 4 - The Exorcist (1973)
All 4 of these moves are amazing cult classics from the 70s and definitely worth the watch this October!

Halloween Day 12
There are so many horror themed podcasts out there, and horror film podcasts are everywhere. If you are going to pick one, just one - and why would you when there are so many other great ones such as The Random Number Generator Horror podcast and The Final Girls - I suggest the British Film Institute's Evolution of Horror.
Each of the nine seasons (and counting) focuses on a subgenre of horror, such as slashers, folk horror, mind and body, and the occult, interspersed with bonus episodes about new film and television releases. Host Mike Muncer is delightfully enthusiastic, honest, and modest, and is joined each episode by a fascinating cross-section guests, running the gamut from Freudian psychologists, to actors, to academics, fellow podcasters, even a guy who runs a horror themed pub quiz.
Perfect for listening straight through it also rewards casual dipping in an out based on the theme of the season or by the film. My highest recommendation for anyone who loves horror films and isn't ashamed to be a nerd about it.
At the end of every episode Mike ask each guest what is your favorite horror movie, and which horror movie frightened you the most? So I am now asking any of you who care to answer, what are yours?
My favorite is either Halloween or The Seventh Victim and the oe that frightened me the most when I first saw it was the original Black Christmas.
(BTW, I find it fascinating how many Brits are obsessed with Texas Chainsaw Massacre).
Let me know if you would like to be added to my taglist!
