An early example of one of Porsche’s iconic first models and one of 242 cabriolets built by Gläser between 1950 and 1952, this 1952 Porsche 356 ‘Split-Window’ Cabriolet would make a brilliant acquisition for any marque collector.
Moving into the Saratoga Auto Museum now from the supercar show being hosted outside. For the summer season, a top-shelf collection of air-cooled Porsches out of architect Steven Harris’s collection were on display. Part 2 of that exhibit is currently there, with every generation of the 911 RS on the museum floor. Here’s a 356B roadster to start things off, and it only gets better from here.
